From signature to first monthly close was less than 6 weeks. The implementation was actually enjoyable, with no months of data file reconciliations, CSV uploads, edits, and starting over. Rillet has also simplified the experience with an intuitive UI, where each element is clearly laid out rather than hidden behind multiple connected database tables. The multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation is what sold me. I can run reports at the subsidiary level, consolidated, or by subsidiary in foreign currency without building anything offline in Excel, and intercompany entries process like any other transaction. Rillet is a modern ERP with an intuitive interface that genuinely puts customers in the driver's seat. The AI capabilities are where it stands out, specially Aura, which handles the routine work like bank reconciliation, accruals, and flux analysis automatically. The close management tools are also a real differentiator: there's a built-in checklist, automated reconciliations, and prepaid expense tracking that used to require manual effort. Rillet is clearly built for the modern finance stack, and it does that very well. If you're in GovCon and need a DCAA-approved accounting system, that's a specific niche it isn't yet designed for, which is worth knowing if you're in that space. Most software vendors treat feature requests as low-priority backlog items, if they track them at all. With Rillet, about 95% of what we've flagged has made it to production, which has genuinely changed how we think about the product relationship. The automations, integrations, and AI capabilities have also let us scale the finance function without adding headcount, so the resources we're not spending on hiring are going back into the business. Having an AI-native system for our bookkeeping matters a lot to us, and Rillet actually delivers on it. We upload invoices and run reconciliations with a human in the loop, which has taken our month-end bookkeeping from several days down to a few hours. There are a few functions that aren't there yet, mostly around some of our more complex accounting workflows. Nothing close to a dealbreaker though, more a minor inconvenience in an otherwise strong product. Everything with the Rillet team has been positive so far. The native integrations with Stripe, Salesforce, and our bank accounts work seamlessly without needing any annoying middleware. Having granular data auto-reconcile directly within the platform makes tracking automated revenue recognition and real-time SaaS metrics incredibly straightforward. Starting from implementation the experience was amazing! I've been part of ERP implementation projects that have taken 12+ months, whereas we were live in ~9 weeks. The implementation team was really knowledgeable and took the time to understand our processes and help us design / build the system that would scale with us.

We've been able to reduce our timeline to reconcile cash from 5 days to 1 day leveraging cash rules and AI-enabled cash matching automation. This as well as the native subledgers for previously manually tracked prepaids, fixed assets, and deferred revenue, have allowed us to reduce our month-end close timeline from 12-14 business days down to 5-6 business days.

Also, the customer support team at Rillet is fantastic! They do a great job of listening to customers, understanding pain points, and offering solutions at an incredible pace. I've worked with other software solutions where it's nearly impossible to get a hold of a support team member, so this was definitely a game-changer. The UI/UX is overall really clean and easy to use. That said, there are a few improvements that could make simple drill-downs or filtering data a bit easier and more intuitive. Since it’s a newer platform, there are definitely areas that can still be refined, but whenever I’ve raised something with our support team, they’ve been great about taking feedback seriously and offering a solution. What I like best about Rillet is how it simplifies financial workflows and brings accounting and reporting into one streamlined platform. Rillet is obviously set up to be one of the ERP's of the future. It's out-of-the-box AI capabilities are impressive. Chat can be used to update the GL, make changes to customer records, and pull reports including SaaS reports that would have had to have been done manually in excel before. It has a slick interface and is improving design on a regular basis. It integrates with everything that we use (Salesforce, Rippling, Ramp, etc). At Sphere, we operate across multiple currencies, and finding an ERP that handles that natively (without a stack of manual workarounds) was a big part of why we landed on Rillet. Multi-entity and multi-currency handled natively, with no manual workarounds – that alone put Rillet ahead of everything else we looked at. The flux analysis module surfaces and explains what moved month over month in seconds, work that used to eat hours.
