It's powerful and the platform is open, which I find really beneficial. There's also a big community, and that's great because we have access to a lot of resources to troubleshoot or improve the app. Integrations with other tools are really simple, which is a plus for us. **What do you dislike about Agentforce Education (formerly Salesforce Education Cloud)?** I think there could be a multilayer of the admin and the audit trail should come free instead of needing a third-party integration or app by another module to implement that. It should really come free, not require us to purchase another separate module. You can do almost anything you wish, from single automation to full back-end development, this SAAS provides the tools to make anything you want possible. Before commiting to this system, we tried different alternatives, and to be honest, nothing comes close to the level of customization. I can confidently say that this is a perfect fit for our vision of service and school growth. One thing that gets my attention is their communities sites feature since its potential is huge! It allows you to form a community, to advertise, sell, get information, you name it, it's there. It is fully featured and offers vast amounts of personalization settings so your community will always be unique. Our customers are creating contracts in real-time thanks to it, and this eases our staff load. Once their contract is created to fulfil their needs, payments are allowed inside our community so customers don't have to wait long to purchase our services. From student enrollment to device rental, transportation options, etc. it's all there available. **What do you dislike about Agentforce Education (formerly Salesforce Education Cloud)?** Honestly, few things annoy me. For starters, feels like you need someone fully immersed in the system to provide compliance for all the things that change more than regularly (at least 3-4 times a year) in it. Their automation options are currently somewhat convoluted, since there are many options available for developers, and some are getting retired for no apparent reason, so development made on some options will need to be re-worked and tested. Also, when creating sandboxes, it becomes a pain to move data from production. The system should at least give users options to select and copy custom and standard information to their liking. **What problems is Agentforce Education (formerly Salesforce Education Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?** Student admissions and enrollment, data reliability, communication across the whole team and student's families, you can have up-to-date contact and emergency information, sync academic and financial information with other systems and much more. One problem we previously had is data reliability. Since our leads were contacting us in different ways, there was no way to accurately tell who was the last contact, or if any resolution was made for their case. Salesforce for education helps us in that regard. We are only beginning now, but integrations with other systems are coming in the mid-term. Standard assessments should be integrated, as well as our student information system and learning management systems. We expect to have everything connected and exchanging information, so enrollment is even easier for our customers. ### 3. Both have been leading higher education institutions not only working on student engagement, but enriching the community. **What do you like best about Agentforce Education (formerly Salesforce Education Cloud)?** Ease of use and free training services for users of any caliber. They don't have to be incredibly tech savvy to get through their work day. The support services are great, whether youre submitting a question to the Trailblazer community or submitting a bug ticket; you'll always find the answer you're looking for. The scalability across the enterprise is amazing - Salesforce continues to come out with upgrades and patches which allows the enterprise to grow in the virtual realm. New additions are added that keep our users on their feet and drives adoption. From an Administration standpoint the click and drag code is amazing. You don't need to have an expert in computer science managing your instance. **What do you dislike about Agentforce Education (formerly Salesforce Education Cloud)?** I don't have many dislikes other than the cost - many first time implementers will get sticker shock when looking at salesforce Implementations. It's not so much of a dislike; but it's something to be wary of if you are thinking about proposing an implementation. **Recommendations to others considering Agentforce Education (formerly Salesforce Education Cloud):** Really focus on developing a well thought out RFP when moving forward with implementation partners. Salesforce eliminated data silos in both of my organizations. This tool brought together a single source of truth and now users won't have to email and ask for a report; things can be done easily, ad hoc, with increased up-time. We came over originally before Higher Ed was built out and while it was good, this just makes it better and so adapt at higher ed needs **What do you dislike about Agentforce Education (formerly Salesforce Education Cloud)?** If you already had Salesforce set up in your org before Higher Ed was announced it can be hard to transition and keep all of your data intact. That said, it has a lot more benefits than minus at this point. Salesforce for Higher Ed or Slate. Slate may be easier initially but Salesforce is the industry leader in CRM technology and should be the main selling point. It doesn't matter what media we use for communication it puts it all in one location. Also, because of cloud access when traveling or working from home all the information is accessible.
