I feel unique link wise tracking is difficult , as on the dashboard it does not give link wise installs or other attribution you have go to linkhub click on the each link separately to check the stats

**What do you like best about Branch?**

Branch makes it easy to create deep links that take users directly to the relevant in-app screen, which is very useful for CRM and marketing campaigns across channels like WhatsApp, SMS, push notifications, and email.

I also like the simple link creation and campaign tracking, which helps measure installs and in-app actions driven by different campaigns. It helps improve the overall user journey and makes marketing attribution clearer.

**What do you dislike about Branch?**

The analytics and reporting capabilities can feel a bit limited when trying to analyze campaign performance in depth. For CRM and marketing teams, more flexible reporting and easier access to granular data would make it easier to derive insights without relying on additional tools.

**What problems is Branch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Branch helps solve the problem of sending users to the correct in-app experience from different marketing channels. With deep linking, users coming from WhatsApp, SMS, push notifications, or paid campaigns can directly land on the relevant screen inside the app instead of the homepage.

This improves the user journey and conversion rates for our CRM and marketing campaigns, while also helping us track installs and in-app actions to better understand campaign performance.

It is a little high on cost and the initial set up is a little complex. However, I do find Branch to be useful and convenient.

Branch helps with solving various issues. One of them is inconsistent user experience across various platforms. Several users switch between mobile app, emails or web links cause confusing redirects. Branch helps with these cases.

Branch had a strong pricing model on a per unit basis and a large feature suite.

**What do you dislike about Branch?**

The customer service was easily the worst we have experienced. We're an app with about 1M users, and struggled to get them on the a call to sign an Enterprise contract, despite going over the free usage tier within a day. Onboarding support was not available, and the support agents were quite dismissive.

It acted as our MMP for TikTok ad campaign optimisation. The implementation was okay, but onboarding wasn't well documented compared to other peer providers.

Our customer support team from Branch is exemptional. Quick to respond, always willing to hold working meetings to solve issues or help us innovate effeciencies and improvements. The tools have been easy to implement and adopt for our teams.

Organizational and search limitations within the dashboard have made auditing tasks a bit cumbersome. Would love to see the search features within the linkhub expanded to include exclusion filters and other utilities.

**What problems is Branch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Expediting the ability to deep link into our app. Utilizing branch allowed us to expand this capability quicker and easier, while speeding up TTM for deep link targeted communications to customers and business partners. The security of fallback URLs and available redirects has also assisted in improving our UX for these communications.

It can be frequently used for multiple requirements such as link tracking, link creation, improving conversions and more.

**What do you like best about Branch?**

The best part about using Branch is that it's very user friendly. It has a step by step process of creating links making it easy for the user to creation of the link. Additionally, making a unique link specific to each campaign by adding UTM parameters helps in better analysis of campaign performance. Such features and data tracking is amongst other good features of the platform.

**What do you dislike about Branch?**

The only problem I have faced using the platform is that finding links is a little difficult and tagging feature doesn't work very aptly at times.

Branch links are not only used for campaign execution but also in campaign performace analysis. The links that we create on Branch help us in setting up redirecting path for our potention traffic to our app via all the Campaigns that we do- SMS, Whatsapp, Email. In addition, tracking  of these Branch links  on the platform also help us in giving us an understanding of how these campaigns have performed in achieving our goals.

**What do you like best about Branch?**

The features of brand for us are very useful, adding UTM parameters and giving customised names to link as well the event based tracking. It's easy & quick to use, the clone feature is such a time saver.

**What do you dislike about Branch?**

As such there's nothing that I dislike, however search feature for old links can be improved. Sometimes when I search 9-12 month old links, it takes time to find.

In order to reach out to users outside of our App, we use brand and most importantly for tracking outside app.
Whether it's a WhatsApp, SMS or Email Campaign the tracking is really smooth. 
We are easily able to identify the traffic from different sources.
The duplicate link feature reduces re-work and helps us create as many as 10-15 links per product within a minute.

I think cost is little bit high but team is supprotive they suggest best plan as per the data increase and for the long term purpose.

Branch has a quite easy interface to retrieve basic data and draw reporting.
It has a shared channel with us where we can ask unfiltered question to our technical success manager, who is very helpfus to address those

More than expected data issues in our API.

its dashboard view, it takes time to load in windows but works perfectly in Mac and also for data download sometimes it takes to mush time

**What do you like best about Branch?**

Times are changing and tracking users across sessions and events are a pain these days, but Branch keeps evolving and delivering what we need to track install, in-app events and attribution. Obviously, you need a dev to implement, but it's not a big deal and it can be done pretty quickly. You can integrate with the ad platforms you use to help track and attribute installs. Android works perfectly, Apple is... Apple. Branch actually offers great solutions to circumvent Apple's limitations, although ad campaigns in networks like Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads or Twitter are not that great. But again... every MMP faces similar challenges. But I believe Branch was the first to come up with a couple solutions regarding attribution on iOS devices.

A couple features are not as straightforward as they could be and requires reading the documentation for things that you should be able to understand directly on the platform settings, like NativeLink (Branch's solution to Apple Private Relay) and Deepview (another solution for attribution and parameter handling).

Branch helps distribute crossplastform link and attribute app installs while integrating with various ad networks (most of them I never even heard of, that's how extensive their integration list is).

What I personally like about branch is the standout feature of its ability to seamlessly link user experience and attribution across various devices, platforms, and channels adn very easy to implement. I really like Branch because it makes mobile marketing much better and easier to intergrate. Branch is very easy to use. There are so many great features, but the top two I use are creating QR codes for tracking and the dashboard for monitoring activity.  I view the Quick Links dashboard daily to measure the performance on all of our marketing channels. I then use that information in my monthly KPI deck.

The Branch will track the precise data of campaigns independently. Its report-pulling customization is amazing. This mechanism of branch will facilitate easy tracking, especially for ad tools to apps. Every day, I download both branch and daily custom reports from dashboard. The values that branch is tracking more accurate when compared to other analytical tools.

We face some trouble while using a filter option when we view the data for certain periods of time. This option is very useful for assess performance every three or six months. Even though I can download the data, again it will take a lot of time to organize it, so all procedure we have to do from scratch.

I think the interface is crystal clear and very intuitive. You can easily know where to go and what to do for whatever need you have regarding links generated through their platform. It's actually pretty easy and straightforward to create quick links and use them right away. The data is refreshed almost instantly and it provides a very complete and comprehensive analysis. Customer support is quick and supportive.

What I don't like is that creating links in batch is a very manual and slow process, they should keep improving in that direction, so that would solve a lot of time for campaigns that target multiple channels. Also, it's not always clear how to use DeepViews which are a powerfull tool to use within their platform.

They have more white papers and documentation than their competitors and they seem to be more on the cutting edge than their competitors. 

Implementation was relatively straightforward, and I never felt like the documentation was scant. 

Customer support was superb. The integration engineers, despite us being in a free plan, were very patient and answered our very complex technical questions. I exchanged a couple emails with the founders over the years and they were responsive and kind.

**What do you dislike about Branch?**

Our main reason for using Branch was allowing users to refer each other and get free premium for doing so (I may be mistaken but I think this may have even been the original use case the founders had when they started Branch). A few years after we began using their built in referral system, they deprecated it, so we could no longer use them to track referrals. So we had to spend time building our own referral system code on top of their deep links, and then a couple years after that they announce that they're getting rid of the free plan we were using. The biggest problem with this change was that they started charging by monthly active users, even if the majority of your users didn't use Branch's deep links (contrast this with AppsFlyer, who only charges for conversions that actually come through their links). This would have brought our bill from $0/month to $350/month (which is 34% of our overall server costs), despite only 1-2% of our users actually using Branch's deep links. These frequent changes were frustrating, especially because a lot of the code involved was tricky to write, with plenty of race conditions that had to be considered. I think we would have built out our deep linking structure more, and earlier, if we felt like we were building on a platform that was less mercurial. 

The thing is, though, that the utility of these MMPs compared to building it yourself has gone down drastically with the (effective) deprecation of the IDFA. The main appeal of Branch was that they had a huge network of (cookie, IDFA) associations so that they could often give you a 100% match rate just because that user had used an app in Branch's network before. Without the IDFA, Branch's (and every other MMP's), main appeal (and they make this very clear in their marketing white papers)  is that they handle all the edge cases of deep linking for you. I think their utility will continue to decrease, especially since they are at odds with the interests of the platforms they build on. iOS removed the IDFA, then requested clipboard read permissions, then added private relay (a VPN), all of which harmed Branch's deep linking capabilities (and the timing sometimes indicated they did so in direct response to Branch's attempted circumventions). 

This is more a gripe with the MMP industry and the App Store's refusal to make a privacy complaint and functional deferred deep linking method: but these MMPs collect massive amounts of data, across thousands of apps. Branch even boasts that they see over 3 billion users per month hit their network. That is an absurd reach, and importantly one that spans users across multiple apps. It wasn't long ago that it was revealed that governments were looking at unencrypted push payloads from Apple and Google to snoop on users across multiple apps. MMPs arguably have even more reach, as they track every app open, and less of an incentive to protect end users' privacy than Apple or Google since end users aren't their customers. At the end of the day, I think privacy minded developers would do well to avoid MMPs, but until Apple/Google recognize that mobile attribution is an important business need and build a first-party solution, I find a shift away from them unlikely.

The versatility of download links and QR code generation are very effective tools for us and our clients. It is relatively easy to use from a setup standpoint, but ocassionally run into loading errors forcing you to refresh and start over. I use Branch on a regular basis, and overall have a positive experience with the product.

**What do you dislike about Branch?**

With changes to billing structures, our company found ourself outside of the typical account type. We have never had to pay for overages, but regularly need to create new apps. Given the current state, that means we have to put in billing information for every app we add to our account. This becomes quite a headache especially when we never have to be billed for overages. We tried to work with Support/Sales to find a company type solution for a single billing setup across apps, but could not come to a solution. We remain using Branch as it is a good tool, but hoping this item becomes smoother in the future.

Recently we are trying to activate apple search ads to it. we can precise date of campaigns and tools separate. It has good customaization to pull reports. These things meant to branch can help tracking things with ease specifically for ad tools to app. It has multi user access with one profile. I use branch every day and day to day custom reports too. we cosider our ROI from these branch as real ROI to our app campaigns.

It can show data when we are searching for something in precise idea. For ex:- we have soe campaigns related furniture, here we try to filter out campaign name contains furniture. It won't work to see data overally with this filter. I have to download and filter for it. You guys won't give data for longer duration on dashboard as well. which is very important to see performance each 3 months or 6 months. I can download data, but I have to rework on it completely again to sort things properly.

I have been using Branch since August 2023. I utilize the analytics features. I want to highlight the positive aspects. There are many guides and tutorials on various topics. The documentation for developers is accessible and comprehensive. The development team had no issues with integration via React. Integration with advertising partners is very straightforward. The support service responds promptly to inquiries.

For me, the functionality for reviewing product_name for purchases (only available in Liveview mode or through daily export) is inconvenient. Moreover, daily export is only available for 2 days, and not for a wider date range.

**What do you like best about Branch?**

I branch all day for tracking app conversions and it has been reliable and easy to use. The Customer Support(i.e. account management team) goes way beyond their purview and gets things done in terms of daily support.

**What do you dislike about Branch?**

Would have been nice if we could see Branch showing multi-touch attribution data. (Which will help advertisers make better decisions) or May be that is too much to ask.

**What problems is Branch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking App conversions and effectively attributing them across right ad partners.
