"Excellent Experience"

What do you like best?

TurnTo admin platform is one of a kind, it has all the information ready to report, to give insight to the different areas involved, it's intuitive and user-friendly, you can export reports in .xls or .csv so you can analyze and send to Directives. It is easy to customize with your needs, you can change the look and feel as much as you want, you can add custom css or js and it will work perfectly, it has an API that can be read by an App and works perfectly, it goes directly into the admin so you see from which platform was the review made.

What do you dislike?

I would suggest to add more query filtering so you can get a report with the best and worst real value, because, sometimes you need to hide some reviews that complain not from the product, but the time of arrival, and the content report do not hide this on the all data export. That is the only thing I would change.

TurnTo Platform has everything you need, grow a large and happy community of customers that are able to express themselves and will be heard by the company itself.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Everyone wanting to buy a product consult the Ratings & Reviews in anther ecommerce site, where millions of reviews are posted, this often redirect our customers to that site and we loss that buy, but now, people are staying in out store, because the reviews are really helping customer make a positive decision to purchase that product.

"Great Customer Service to Help Better Serve Our Customers!"

What do you like best?

TurnTo was extremely helpful in the integration process for M2 extension! We had unique roll-up cases, for our products, and had requests that weren't denied when consulting and implementing the extension. The Project Leads and Staff respond promptly and with all information needed to make sure you feel valued as a client.

What do you dislike?

There are a few bugs that came up once the integration went live. Although, TurnTo has been active in fixing them and ensuring the UX is not hindered.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

TurnTo has provided a way for our company to be more transparent to our customers; we're able to publish low-star reviews and show live responses to the issues/concerns our customer may have had with the product. Also, the analytics provided in the dashboard gives exponential insights as we the platform becomes seasoned. There are many benefits we have reaped from this integration, and will continue to see more as we grow. Thanks, TurnTo!

"Easy to use and great service with quick response time"

What do you like best?

The TurnTo system is a great way to enable interaction and gather information from our customers. We now are able to have qualified star ratings that show in search results for our products. The reviews along with the Q/A and checkout comments make it easy to find out what our customers think about our products as well as identify any problems that we may have.

What do you dislike?

It was a little tricky two integrate with our eCommerce platform but has been running smoothly once it was active.

It works great and is the company is very quick to respond to our needs and solve problems that may come up during implementation and after it's active as well. They were also very helpful to our integrator when setting it up.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With TurnTo we have a robust review system that is independent of our commerce platform. We are able to have immediate responses relating to our products and services and have been able to identify problems that we may not have been aware of. The review solicitation system also helps build the reviews and ratings for verified purchasers.

"Taking Customer Service to a new level! "

What do you like best?

By using Turn-To we have the ability for our new customers to read first hand reviews from our existing customers who use and love an item. They get a better idea of how some items fit, no more wondering if an item runs large or small!

What do you dislike?

The only complaint I have is that some of our customers use the Turn-To application to advise on a non-received order or an issue with an order/item instead of contacting Customer Service directly to get the issue addressed. This is by no means a Turn-To flaw!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Customers and manufacturer's are able to answers questions based on first hand knowledge of how an item works or fits. This has helped to guide potential customers to know if an item will fit their or their animals needs.

"Great Customer Review and Content Suite"

What do you like best?

I have worked with the TurnTo team from the beginning of us launching our new ecommerce site. During the integration process, they were very involved in making sure it was configured correctly and proactive with our web development agency on troubleshooting.

This level of support has continued as we refine how we display Reviews, Checkout Comments, and Questions. This includes having a customer success manager who looks at performance and makes recommendations that are relevant to our business. They are also very collaborative with our other partners on both increasing ways to leverage content or with troubleshooting.

What do you dislike?

One issue we have had is around customizing how we display Reviews, Checkout Comments and Questions for product variants of a master product. As a testament to their approach working with customers, they they have helped with finding workarounds and have solved this issue in the next big release later in 2018.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to have a robust suite of customer content on the site including reviews and a questions and answers section that allows users to ask questions and have fellow customers or us answer those. It allows us to create more comment that is available to everyone and not in a one-to-one interaction with a customer service rep.

The product reviews have been great because we can repurpose that content for other marketing channels such as email and retargeting ads.

"Working with TurnTo as our Review Provider"

What do you like best?

The interactive dashboards allow us to see a wide range of data. The teams are also very responsive and helpful when I need assistance.

What do you dislike?

The review acquisition process is slower than expected. And sharing the data is a bit tricky as well without requiring everyone to have a login. It's also difficult to filter or mass select on review content.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Just further innovating the tools and user friendliness will be a big win! The team is great to work with so I can see good movement in their future.

We are beginning to uncover additional PDP issues, supply chain issues, as well as better understanding the customers voice. Has really helped us gain customer interaction.

"So Simple yet so Effective"

What do you like best?

We had our own review system but too many shortcomings and were getting 4-10 a month, now we get 10x that plus a day. Shockingly the post-checkout comments are great too.

What do you dislike?

Reviewing the reviews is a little tedious, it would be nice if there were basic tools like "select all" to mark an entire page as posted or hidden. This is a backend small issue

Turnto staff is very responsive and provides easy to follow information at each step making implementing and running the product quite easy.

Customer Confidence to buy has been great. It gives them more confidence in us as well as the product. All the user-generated content has also been a nice lift in SEO.

"Outstanding and Professional Service - A True Partnership"

What do you like best?

The entire team, from sales to support, have always done everything possible to ensure that all our our needs were being met. They have gone beyond a simple client/vendor relationship to actually partner with us in order to gain a better understanding of our business goals and what they could do to help us achieve them.

"Very Happy with TurnTo but still want more features"

What do you like best?

Very responsive and ambitious team. Turn To is on top of their game when it comes to Reviews

What do you dislike?

1) I would like to make it faster to display a review on our site

2) A review dashboard that can be baked into customers account to see all their reviews and control/edit them. So they have total control.

3) Some sort of gamification system to increase participation in Reviewing products

4) An email notifying customers that their review is now live.

5) Categorized reviewers based on their (level) of the sport

"We'd TurnTo Them Again"

What do you like best?

I work with a lot of vendors at TabCom and TurnTo has been among the easiest to operate with. Their API calls are well documented and the account reps and support reps respond in an impressively quick fashion. They don't make promises they can't deliver on and their products provide valuable insight to our users.

What do you dislike?

We were cutting over from a previous vendor and there was a misunderstanding during the integration process involving the complexity of our products but it was resolved before the cutover deadline.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Providing shoppers with the ability to ask questions about our products and get answers from people who have bought and used them in the past as well as product reviews. We have realized that relying on best practices from an experienced vendor like TurnTo can improve the customer experience.

"Awesome tool, exponentially increased on page reviews"

What do you like best?

Email requests to customers for reviews, Q&A that gathers answers from customers who purchased product, visual content, moderation. There's really nothing I dislike about the platform.

What do you dislike?

Not necessarily a dislike but 2 eager suggestions:

1. Improve the backend UI, a bit old looking and not as intuitive as it could be.

2. Please please please include Shopper Reviews (otherwise we'll need to get Shopper Approved) to handle this, TurnTo does the best product reviews & Q&A, but Shopper Approved owns the aggregated shopper review that gets seen a lot in branded SERPs.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The implementation team for TurnTo was absolutely A++++! They walked us through each and every step of the process and the results speak louder than my words. We were averaging 10 reviews per day, after TurnTo we saw about 400 reviews per day - it eventually normalized to now we're anywhere between 100 - 200 reviews and about 50 - 100 Q&A submissions per day. This ads crawl-able content submitted to Google for SEO juice and adds customer confidence in seeing others reviews and upvotes/downvotes. Also, we're able to easily respond and remediate any issues a customer has during their shopping/product delivery experience. Pretty easy implementation, ensure you are setup with a dev/test environment and you can import legacy reviews from current platform and you'll be golden.

"They really bring in the reviews, Q&A responses are amazing, Dashboard a little lacking"

What do you like best?

The Q&A responses have been amazing, we're getting almost 25 responses on average for every 1 question. They are on par or higher than other companies we have used in getting product and company reviews.

What do you dislike?

The dashboard is lacking and can be a little difficult to use at times. It could be a bit more user-friendly. I would like to see more FAQ on how to use each section. I would like to see better reports as to how the program is working.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you want more reviews and Q&A, then TurnTo has beat out Yotpo, Trustpilot, and others in numbers of reviews they have brought in. I am happy that they get us more for less cost.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are getting more "bang for our buck" from TurnTo. We see many more customers actually getting involved in reviews and Q&A, which helps potential customers decide to buy rather than leave. It makes our company look professional when so many customers are responding about what they like, dislike, and helping other customers. The Q&A also helps customers remember our company and come back regularly, hopefully leading to more sales.

"Best Product Review Engine"

What do you like best?

We've been working with TurnTo for a couple years now having switched from another enterprise solution. The improvement across the board has been a major improvement. The setup was straight forward and their implementation team was very responsive. They've continued to remain engaged post implementation as needed. Angela is great as an account manager (knowledgable and hard worker). As far as the platform is concerned, it's largely automated with minimal maintenance required from our team. The quantity of reviews coming in compared to our previous provider have gone up by 10-20%, but more importantly, the quantity of Q&A engagement has gone up 10x. Customer photo submissions have gone up considerably as well. The TurnTo platfrom is driving the community experience we always wanted to achieve on our site.

What do you dislike?

Not much to dislike. All in all we've been happy with the product and it has met our expectations.

Close to 50% of our customers that end up buying a product from us engage with our Q&A powered by TurnTo. That engagement keeps the customer on our page and drives additional product discovery that results in conversions.

"Easy to Implement and Great Team to Work With"

What do you like best?

The response time I receive from their team whenever there is an issue FAR exceeds the communication with our prior review provider. We appreciate the personal interaction. In addition, the extra features such as the cart chatter and Q&A modules really help us with understanding our customer's needs. TurnTo has been a breath of fresh air for our overall customer content plan.

What do you dislike?

I am looking forward to the addition of overall company reviews in the product road map. We are still waiting on this feature, but hopefully it will be released within the next six months.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you're looking to implement a service which works well for customer content and delivers a consistent service level, then TurnTo is the answer. We were able to implement this new service in a little over 30 days and they worked hard to meet our deadlines so we could leave our prior provider.

We appreciate the constant connection with our TurnTo team and whenever there is an issue, whether small or significant, they are there to help right away. We have been extremely satisfied with our options thus far with TurnTo and look forward to adding even more services as they become available.

Our customer service team is also very excited to utilize TurnTo as it has made their job significantly more efficient in terms of answering product questions and the reporting system allows them to filter through to the information they need in order to ensure customer satisfaction.

We had a need for more assistance with questions from our customers regarding individual products and our in-house customer service team was not able to return answers in a timely fashion. With TurnTo, we have been able to pose questions to our customers and are seeing excellent return on answers, which we believe are leading to conversions. It has also greatly reduced the amount of time from question to answer for customers and relieved our staff of an overloaded queue.

Cart chatter has been an excellent tool for understanding buying behaviors as well as providing recommendations by allowing customers to share their thoughts once they have completed their purchase. Having insight into their purchase reasoning is valuable in determining new products to carry, why something may or may not be selling, etc.

"TurnTo is a useful and easy service that helps us enhance our web site experience for our customers."

What do you like best?

As we have a robust and engaged customer base, TurnTo allows us to easily moderate user generated content around the products we sell. Without this help, we would not be able to incorporate the extensive feedback we receive to our site, which greatly enhances the customer experience. Our product can be complicated and the Ask Owners feature allows people to access a lot of unbiased research before purchase.

We also have quite a few customers that provide us with reviews.Which again, only validates the products we sell and our unbiased approach. We will published negative and positive reviews of the products we sell.

What do you dislike?

The biggest thing is the limited editing window, and the fact that customers can’t make edits to reviews themselves. It would be great if there was a process to allow users to make edits that we’d then be able to approve or hide with the review.

At the very least it would be nice if we could make full edits to reviews with formatting rather than just simple text edits.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Well, much like I said in the what do you like best section, TurnTo allows us to easily engage with our customer base and provide a rich customer experience on our site as our products often are heavily researched before purchase.

"Go with the newcomers, not the old-school beast"

What do you like best?

Great tools, great integration with Q&A, friendly back-end interface. Appreciate the post-checkout "why did you purchase" information as it provides a semblance of free customer post-checkout survey without requiring a 3rd party tool.

What do you dislike?

CSS can be challenging to get perfect as there are so many parts and pieces. Integration onto Magento can be challenging but generally with a smart Dev team you can easily get it done in an acceptable timeframe. Recommend not to "over style".

Recommendations to others considering the product

Just pricing alone vs the behemoths in the industry should be a selling point. Additionally look at the feature set out of the box and the ease of use. On the customer side, once engaged you'll always get personalized person-to-person service.

"Exceeds Expectations"

What do you like best?

TurnTo is an all-around great company to work with. We've been happy since day one. The implementation was painless and their team was ready and willing to go above and beyond to help get everything right. Every interaction is friendly and helpful. Ongoing support is responsive and friendly. We couldn't ask for more.

Comment capture has by far exceeded our expectations. We love to hear our customers in real-time, and have found in turn that our customers have great senses of humor! In addition, based on this real-time feedback, we've been able to spot when a product that we carry was featured on a television show or in a magazine so that we can react much faster.

What do you dislike?

Having to switch between different moderation views and Q&A sections is a bit tedious. It would be nice to have the option of seeing everything at one, particularly once you become more accustomed to the interface.

A better way to share questions, comments and reviews with non-users would be ideal.

Do not underestimate the usefulness of comment capture.

TurnTo Q&A has allowed us to identify missing product information that is essential to converting a sale. With comment capture we've enjoyed seeing our customers' genuine enthusiasm for many of their purchases, as well as insight on how many purchases on our site are driven by need rather than just want.

TurnTo is our company's first-ever rating system. It has allowed us to quickly identify problems and react accordingly, as well as hold ourselves accountable to providing exceptional customer service at ever customer touchpoint.

"A Great Way to Boost Customer Confidence"

What do you like best?

As a specialty retailer, one of our differentiators in our stores is the ability to provide personalized service and get customers into the right running shoes or apparel for them. This type of service is harder in the digital world, but TurnTo makes it easier for our staff, and even our customers, to provide confidence in a runner's purchase. We LOVE the checkout chatter feature, which allows our customers to tell other runner's why they chose the product, even before it shows up on their doorstep. We have even noticed some of our customers referencing reviews of other customers as their reason for purchase.

What do you dislike?

This is a good problem to have, but we're getting enough engagement that it's sometimes hard for our team to keep up! We want to answer any questions that pop-up quickly and with the amount of engagement we get each day within questions and answers, that can be challenging. I would definitely recommend having a dedicated team in place to handle Q&A.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Increasing conversion rate online is a business challenge we're always looking to solve. With TurnTo, we are able to give customers more confidence in their purchase by answering any questions they have, providing staff expertise, and giving them access to other customers' opinions about the product. We have seen customers use reviews to tell us that other people's reviews via TurnTo encouraged them to make the purchase.

"Best Review/QA Software"

What do you like best?

Customer support is always on point. My emails are immediately answered and someone always answers if I need to call.

Excellent documentation. Integration guides were simple and easy to follow.

Easy to integrate into our e-commerce platform. Only required a few code drops and we were up and running.

Automated rule based approval system. This feature helps cut down the number of hours spent administering the system, freeing our staff up to work on other tasks.

Simple upgrades. Only requires an update of the code drops.

What do you dislike?

I haven't found anything with TurnTo to dislike. All features wok as advertised, if not better.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I recommend others to do their due diligence; get demos or check reviews of other systems, make sure the platform you select works for you or your company and don't base your decisions solely off of what others are saying.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our e-commerce platform's review system lacked functionality for us. We also wanted to offer our customers a Q/A section on our product pages. We have found that by adding a more robust review system and TurnTo's Q/A module, more and more customers are engaging in our products and our site post-purchase, which ultimately helps convert them into repeat customers.

"Easy Implementation and Working Great"

What do you like best?

We were most interested in TurnTo for the Checkout Chatter feature. Although the other parties in this space have implemented a similar feature, TurnTo had the most experience with this feature and had seen great success with it. Since we've implemented this feature, we receive so much organic content from our customers that it has been hard to keep up with the moderation. Excellent problem to have nonetheless.

Outside of the product itself, implementation was pretty seamless. The team was very responsive and opened tickets immediately with their tech teams when we ran into some minor issues. We were able to get up and running within 6 weeks (while juggling other projects). We were most impressed that post launch, we didn't have many follow ups as the team had done such a thorough job with the QA process.

What do you dislike?

The reporting could be a bit more robust. It is easy to read but not as granular as we'd like to see. Additionally, the documentation (although very thorough) is lengthy and somewhat difficult to decipher through all the pages. Lastly, customizations are allowed with the product but were not highly recommended due to any future upgrades that TurnTo does. This led us to do some problem solving on our side with which we have two competing lightboxes on the Order Confirmation page. Not pretty, but definitely tolerable. Other than that, the product itself is solid and achieving higher levels of customer engagement than we had anticipated.

We are receiving a ton of organic content and are getting to know our customers better - what they are really into and where we have fallen to meet their expectations.

"Great experience with the TurnTo Checkout Chatter product and the TurnTo Implementation staff!"

What do you like best?

The think that I have liked best working with TurnTo is their willingness to listen to eBags ideas on how to improve their product. Not only did they listen to our ideas, but they implemented them!

What do you dislike?

We initially were not happy that we could not create Pinboards for multiple categories or by Brand, but TurnTo has since made that feature available!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have been trying to get our customers more engaged with our products. Checkout Chatter enables our customers to provide comments on products. We can, in turn, use that information on product pages (to show customers why other people bought that product) and on Pinboards to show customers a larger view (by category or by brand), what people are saying about various products. These comments and Pinboards are updated as customer's make comments so the content is always fresh.

What do you like best?

I like how TurnTo gives our shoppers confidence by asking past buyers about products they are contemplating. Whether they have sizing questions or more complicated questions, our customers love engaging with potential customers and offer their recommendations or testimonials. Who has more clout and can give better advice and testimonials directly to potential buyers during the shopping process than our current customers? It's a beautiful thing.

What do you dislike?

I would like to see better high level dashboards and weekly reports.

"Excellent tool to gain immediate customer insights and address product questions real-time "

What do you like best?

As a Content Manager, I love seeing where we have opportunities to improve our content. We are finding areas where we need a more robust product-detail-pages, and finding categories that could use top-of-funnel buyer's guides to address bigger questions.

I also enjoy giving our customers the tools necessary to better understand the products we offer. With crowd-sourcing, most of the questions our customers have are answered within 4 hours.

We're also getting new, original content on a daily basis and we're seeing improvements in our natural traffic as a result.

What do you dislike?

The reporting is solid, but it could be a bit more robust. I'd like to find themes in TurnTo: content, customer service, etc. so that I can address issues at the category level rather than product level.

We are solving customer issues. Content issues (thin or non-existent content, inaccurate content, etc.), customer service issues and also issues around understanding product uses. Our customers can count on us to answer some of those questions, but the authentic answers come from fellow customers which adds to our credibility.

"A very good product and responsive team. Implementation was easy and pain-free."

What do you like best?

Dr. Hauschka Skin Care uses the customer review module on our brand website and the process of adding the module to our product pages was fairly simple and easy. Our web vendor is located in Germany and TurnTo worked with them directly to get everything up and running. We were very pleased with how smoothly the process went and it continues to be.

"Better than the competition! "

What do you like best?

We've been extremely happy with turnto services, we feel it brings us tremendous value, we've looked at other similar platforms and ultimately decided on turnto for a number of factors, now that we've been using turnto for a couple of months we are certainly glad we made this choice. Shop no further, I highly recommend turnto!

What do you dislike?

Setup took a bit longer than expected, but once you're up and running you'll see the real value!

"A Vital Tool For Our Website"

What do you like best?

TurnTo's Q&A integration has had a huge impact for our website. Customers not only can reach out to us directly through the tool, but also communicate directly to other customers who have purchased similar products.

What do you dislike?

We would like better functionality on the back end of things. Pre-defined reports would be nice, as well as the ability to tag an order # to a specific product review would be invaluable.

A major benefit is we are starting to develop an online community organically using the Q&A function, as customers understand that there is a good chance they will get a "real world" response from someone outside of our company about our products.

"TurnTo Is Awesome!"

What do you like best?

The TurnTo platform is very easy to use and generates superb amounts of UGC and product reviews with very little effort. TurnTo allows us to easily manage customer product questions by getting detailed answers from actual customers who purchased the same product(s). Their review platform is also very robust and generates in-depth product reviews which are seamlessly integrated in to our Google paid ads. Great product, great people... great results!

Analytics are on point. Our previous vendor was not able to provide the in-depth metrics that we were looking for and TT was not only able to accommodate us, but constantly is updating their reporting. Not only is this available for us at an ad hoc basis, we are delivered reports on a weekly basis to keep us up to date with trends so we can spot outliers as well.

What do you like best?

Turnto's QA functionality has driven greater than expected engagement from our customers. We talked to many vendors, all of the big names and we found that Turnto's team was hungry. They are always responsive, quick to act, and reliable.

What do you dislike?

Backend UI is a bit dated but functional.

Take a look at all vendors Q&A functionality. That is what will make the difference. A lot of guys do Reviews well but not everyone does Q&A well.

What do you like best?

I love how TurnTo's Q&A feature asks customers who have actually purchased the products. The system was easy to implement and is even easier to moderate. We've collected some great information from our customer community that we wouldn't have had the access to without TurnTo's tool.

What do you dislike?

I would love it if there was a way to streamline the validation of answers. If a customer asks a question that has a factual answer and other customers provide conflicting answers, more confusion is added instead of subtracted.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We sell tiny beads and jewelry supplies with a seemingly endless list of measurements, uses, and tips associated with each one. Using the TurnTo Q&A allows us to pass along some of the work of relaying all of this information to our customers, which in turn helps us build our reputation as a resource for knowledge as well as shopping. The more our customers are using our site, the more likely they are to complete a purchase.

"Implemented Q&A November of 2016 and it has been a great product for us."

What do you like best?

TurnTo takes one of the most important pieces in any e-commerce business and makes it better. The team at TurnTo is unparalleled, they support you every step of the way. Some companies will set you free in the wild once onboarding is complete, not TurnTo. They are constantly monitoring your performance and send suggestions and feedback throughout your time with them.

What do you dislike?

The product does what it says. The only suggestions I would have is a easier, more robust reporting platform. Google Analytics integration would be a bonus to get a better feel for how people interact with the Q&A and reviews.

"Feature-rich, great team, visionary leader and awesome support."

What do you like best?

The integration into our Custom CMS (Legacy infrastructure) was much easier than other third parties for our marketing/product team and the software group. The Q&A brilliantly adds UGC and interactions on our site that we did not have and we're excited that TurnTo's team is working diligently to migrate us to a new platform and integrate reviews too. The layout is flexible as they have allowed us to customize as much as we want in terms of look and feel for each area as they opened up the APIs to their tools. The backend interface also gives us a lot of control over profanity filters, rules administration and other neat things.

What do you dislike?

Nothing. They literally have everything covered with reviews, UGC from Q&A and reviews, artificial intelligence or suggestions, and more.

We considered a lot of other options (In-house, BazaarVoice/PowerReviews, YotPo recently) and it really was great discussing this with TurnTo and coming to an agreement that is fair and also provides the ROI both businesses needed.

I always ask Build vs Buy and their team really made it a solid choice to Buy because they not only started with a great tool, but have continued their dedication to enhance it, listen to us (and I am sure other customers), and be competitive in their space. We now have rich UGC across our product pages, interactivity post-sale, and great interactions amongst customers. It's really great. We will solve even more problems as we use more of their platform and I am excited about that.

"Creative, responsive, and customer focused"

What do you like best?

The TurnTo team is extremely professional, responsive, and creative. They've developed the best Q&A capabilities in the business as a core platform and then built a great customer review capability, include visual reviews on top of it. Additionally, they've added really interesting and effective capabilities like Checkout Chatter (we call it Cart Talk on SurLaTable.com) they engage the customer and present interesting new discovery options for customers.

CEO George Eberstadt is an extremely smart guy who is truly understands the needs of his customers and their customers. He and his team are truly a joy to work with.

What do you dislike?

Nothing. We're very happy with TurnTo and the team.

We're always looking for ways to improve conversion and customer satisfaction. TurnTo gives us great ways to build customer confidence through user generated content. Their Q&A capabilities ensure customers get their questions answered by other customers who have purchased and used the products of their interest. Adding features like Cart Talk allows customers to see what other customers and buying and why. Very cool. Adding image galleries for now allow customers to see how other customers are actually using the products of interest, and they will only serve to increase confidence.

"Pleasantly surprised with behind-the-scenes features!"

What do you like best?

There are a lot of features and functionality built in behind-the-scenes that reduces friction when getting customers to reply to Q&A's and submit reviews. We installed TurnTo primarily for their customer Q&A functionality, but also replaced our standard Magento reviews with TurnTo at that same time. This was almost an after-thought. Both turned out to be great solutions. The Q&A functionality is very intelligent, and we were surprised by how well our customers responded to answer requests - and how re-engaged they became in the site. TurnTo recently added visual reviews to our reviews functionality - and again, it went very smoothly. They send responsive-design review invite emails that prioritize the camera button for mobile viewports. Not only have we received a lot of customer photos now, our overall review capture rate has increased. Clearly they have some smart people designing the feature-set, and we are happy to benefit.

What do you dislike?

Their documentation and training isn't great. While their tools are pretty intuitive, it would have been nice to have some canned training available for our customer support staff who moderate the reviews - as well as better documentation on what the different configuration settings do. I'm guessing when you are a smaller company aggressively developing new functionality, the training and documentation department gets short-changed.

Get a demo. I don't think their documentation really shows how good the software is.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

1. We added Q&A functionality, which is important for our often technical and complex product line. We sell woodworking tools, hardware and supplies for people to build furniture, cabinets and other projects made of wood. This has reduced the burden on our internal support team in answering customer questions - and helped engage customers more to our site.

2. We replaced the standard Magento review functionality with TurnTo. Their review system is more robust than Magento's. Our review capture rate went up considerably after switching.

3. We added Visual Reviews giving our customers the ability to upload pictures of the projects they are building. This is creating a sense of community - and giving customers inspiration for how our products can be used.

"TurnTo: The New Reviews and Q&A Champ"

What do you like best?

TurnTo has a passion for both their customers and their product , and it shows in everything they do. The Bump wanted to implement some unique features that, while on the TT roadmap, were still at its bleeding edge. Instead of telling us to "wait until Q2", they put some of their best engineers on the challenge and delivered the functionality in the exact timeframe they promised. That ability to deliver was the fundamental difference in the success of our product catalog launch.

What do you dislike?

Like with any company that is relatively new to a category, TurnTo may not have a bench 10 deep in every area, but for The Bump, this proved more of an asset. For us, it meant they were nimble, responsive and entrepreneurial to work with, and I never felt I had to communicate through a long chain of folks to get results.

Recommendations to others considering the product

There are two other competitors in this space, and they do a fine job as well. I've been in eCommerce for 9 years now, and I've worked closely with all the players. Depending on your budget, you can't go wrong choosing any of them, but if you want to align yourself with the most forward-thinking, dedicated, and fast moving of the three, I'd strongly recommend TurnTo.

The Bump has all the pieces in place to create the first-ever two-sided marketplace for baby products. On one side, almost every first-time mom in the US comes to The Bump to manage their pregnancy and first years of life with their baby. On the other, The Bump has strong business partnerships with all the leading retailers of baby goods and many of the top manufacturers. Our goal is to make meaningful connections between customers and retailers.

TurnTo was not phased by these ambitions, and embraced the technical challenges involved in helping us to create the platform. The Bump is already the leading platform for Baby Registries in the US, hosting over 2MM registries every year, and we're now seeing hockey-stick like growth since the launch of our Product Catalog.

What do you like best?

The level of service and attention to clients that TurnTo provides is one of their best qualities. We have an extremely complicated organization, so setting up new technologies within that complex ecosystem can be challenging. TurnTo's entire team was very patient and proactive, going the extra mile to help ensure that we could pilot and then roll out to additional brands. They also worked with us to develop some new solutions for our brands given some of our unique challenges of not having DTC sites.

"Happy Camper"

What do you like best?

Adding TurnTo to our site had been awesome. Not only do product pages now show interactive content from customers, but as a proof of concept, subsequent customers post that they read the prior reviews and decided to purchase as a result. Great in every respect and I'm be happy to respond to any email asking for more specifics about our experience with TurnTo.

What do you dislike?

Any issues with reviews not publishing on the site were resolved within the day, and usually within a few hours. If you have a question or concern, just ask. I found their staff to be very attentive, knowledegable and helpful.

The UI is very user-friendly - easy to submit transaction files, and view and filter reviews and usage reports.

Easy integration and onboarding process; always prompt responses whenever client has questions; adaptive and creative in providing solutions tailored to client's existing tech ecosystem or in-house challenges; smart user flow design to ensure high community engagement and customer satisfaction.

Nothing dislike so far. One thing that might help TurnTo to accommodate even larger retailers is to increase their already decent capacity of SKU intake.

What do you like best?

TurnTo offers a great solution for reviews, Q&A and soliciting post-purchase feedback from your customers. Converting from another vendor was a breeze and TurnTo helped us all the way through. They now offer a syndication integration to share your reviews with other channel partners, this has been a boost for the entire eCommerce ecosysystem.

We have no complaints at this time, but the moderation UI could benefit from an update.

What do you like best?

Not only do they offer a great product but we have had incredible service. Emails are answered in hours. Meetings are easily scheduled. Any issues are resolved quickly. Tom even lets us know about how to improve our ratings and reviews and gives us feedback.

"TurnTo Product Review"

What do you like best?

Writing the code to do Ratings&Reviews (R&R) and Questions&Answers (Q&A) is complex. The TurnTo product removes the barrier to entry for any site to get R&R/Q&A live on their platform. Product has some solid feature sets that make it a quick win to add to your site.

Team is responsive when you have issues or roadblocks.

Product appears to have a continual roadmap.

What do you dislike?

It takes care of the main components of R&R/Q&A, but there are some features that could be added to enrich the experience. (ie. customers photos, leader board, etc...)

Dashboard gives basic info. It needs a little love.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you don't have the resources to build and maintain R&R and Q&A. TurnTo is a great option.

Solve: Needed to get more customer interaction on the PDP's.

The ability for customers to ask questions of other customers is key. Be able to ask employees questions is great, but to actually be able to ask questions of those that own the product is essential for more complicated products.

No dislikes at this point with their product. They've been great to work with.

The major issue we are addressing is that some questions (especially on complicated products like electronics) are really hard to answer unless you have spent a great deal of time with the product.
