Horizons was able to support us for our first hire in the USA thanks to their services. Whether it was the commercial contact or the contact with the onboarding manager, everything went very well.

We are satisfied with the services provided at the moment.

Using Horizons to hire in the USA was a real time, money, and energy saver since we only had to validate the contract rather than carry out complex procedures.

UI is really easy to use, very responsive always snappy and had no issues with using it. Awesome customer support very responsive and got back to me promptly.

I wish there is an app would be great to be able to access it on the go and be able to do your expences as you go also.

I really like the way how all is detailed including working calendar and reimbursment flow for expense. Also enjoy using it since onboard is pretty fast forward with all the details information with good support on email as well.

**What do you dislike about Remote People?**

Calendar is not linked with google account, Is there any way to Linked this calendar with Google API or something so can export it directly to google work email? 

There is no additional info from the company for the PIC to whom which should I follow (like people patner or HR partner) that will assist you for some specific question related to insurace or other things. Is it possible to get in touch with the company it self trough some chat or other related feature since when using email probably take days to answer when it come to urgent request like Over Time (OT), Claim, Insurance and else.

The problem start when I have some specific question related to Pay Slip that not reflected in acutal bank balance. Horizon help me to update the company and within 2 - 3 days, the problem solved and kudos to Horizon teams ! Really appreciate fast repsond to solve the issue from Horizon side.

Smooth Onboarding and contracting for many countries. Making easier for employees and employer to take decision on Global Hiring.

Payslips and Holidays are not managed properly. Holidays should be listed on Horizons portal based on country's regional and National holidays. Payslips not updated on portal we have to go other logins of check.

The service was excellent throughout the onboarding process, but unfortunately continued issues over the 7 months I worked with Horizons led me to transition to another provider. I unfortunately cannot recommend Horizons to other businesses.

**What do you dislike about Remote People?**

I chose to terminate an employee within the probation period. I notified Horizons about this, and after several weeks of delay on their side, Horizons gave me factually inaccurate information about the termination process. I was forced to hire outside legal advice, and when I told them about this, they finally agreed their compliance team was wrong and we proceeded with the termination based on the outside legal advice I paid for. In addition to invoicing issues and other service-related problems, I discontinued our partnership with Horizons.

With Horizons, I legally onboarded new employees in a foreign jurisdiction. However, due to compliance issues related to Horizon's contracts, I decided to discontinue their service.

Horizons is well organized company that is giving the opportunity to start-ups that don't have offices in the foreign countries to employ personell that will help the companies develop their strategy within the world.

No possibility to have company contract for mobile phone through the company. Must be privately and therefore we lose some of the business advantages that the mobile operators offer.
This is not dislike but an improvement - for the remuneration of travel cost and expenses, will be nice to have a table in which we can see which remunerations are done in which payslip. Now we have to do manual calculation and when we have a lot of travelling, it's getting more complicated.

We were in a completely new situation in April 2022. We wanted to hire an applicant from South Africa. A top candidate, but unthinkable for our HR and Legal department to implement. Initial online research led us to the topic of EOR. Horizons was not only the first to respond to our request, but we were able to complete the entire hiring process before any other provider had even contacted us. It took less than two weeks from the first email to the signed contract. 

Onboarding and Implementation also went smoothly and we were guided through the entire process.

The monthly salary process is completed for us in just a few minutes and is run centrally via their portal. Horizons takes care of everything else.

Customer Support is really fast in handling any issues, regarding contract changes or platform.

There was one minor issue with the portal after a redesign regarding the number of remaining vacation days.

The deadline for receiving ad hoc payment requests through Horizons from my HQ is too early in the month.  So, for example, I had to wait until the end of December to receive a bonus that my colleagues in Germany received in mid-November.  This seems too bureaucratic and inflexible.  Also, don't like that there are 2 platforms for me to use: one GMS, and one Horizons.  I'm always confused about which one to use, and it takes me twice as long to figure something out than it should.

Having a point of contact in the Philippines for my team members has been great. I also really like to see the improvements made to their newest platform, which makes managing contracts and their payroll very easy.
