I can understand the reason why as it is a catch all for all time off, and easy to roll out from a technical aspect, but I'd have rather they spent the time working on a functional reporting process). Helpdesk is not helpful. **What problems is Employment Hero solving and how is that benefiting you?** It stores the HR data in one central location, but aside from that, the other functionality is not the best. We can add many different types of policies that our employees need to agree to, like social media use, bullying and harassment, and work from home policies. Employment Hero makes it really simple to have these policies already done and written and on file, which is very valuable for us. The setup was really easy and well guided, with a lot of self-help modules that made it super simple to set up. Setting up payroll for new staff or editing existing details for staff works really well and saves a lot of manual entry time. Using EH makes us a professional organisation. **What do you dislike about Employment Hero?** Lately, the sync to Xero isn't working particularly well, which causes a few problems, especially when people are requesting leave or when payroll doesn't sync across to Xero. With the probation or annual review surveys, sometimes we have to keep the old manager if they've moved, while we're in a review period and then make changes afterward. EH is used consistently every day by both employees and admins for a variety of purposes, including leave requests, policies, document access, surveys, recruitment, 1:1s. **What do you dislike about Employment Hero?** Customer Service – 6/10 All of the employees we have had the opportunity to speak with have been amazing and consistently go above and beyond. However, there are ongoing issues with response times and accessibility. Tickets are often not actioned in a timely manner, phone calls are rarely answered, and the AI support chat frequently does not provide accurate or helpful information—particularly for more complex tasks. One example is a custom survey that was created and published to all staff. For some reason, certain employees were unable to access it. We explored alternative methods, including accessing the survey via the app, but it still did not appear. This issue was identified on a Thursday. On Friday, I attempted to contact EH and a support ticket was created. The survey was only available for one week, until the following Friday. Unfortunately, EH did not respond until the week after, by which time the survey had already expired and was no longer accessible to staff. An email trail and supporting evidence can be provided if required. We were informed that the delay was due to a high volume of tickets, which we understand. However, some matters are urgent, and there is currently no reliable way for our company to directly contact Customer Service when immediate support is needed. **What problems is Employment Hero solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest asset for us is recruitment via EH and the ability to document everything, including policies and employee documents. This has benefited the business by saving thousands of dollars, as we use Seek to advertise available positions instead of relying on costly recruitment agencies. ### 43.
