**What do you like best about WorkTango?**

One of the new things I like about WorkTango is the addition of AI-powered features that help improve recognition and engagement across teams. For example, the Recognition Writing Assistant helps users write clearer and more meaningful recognition messages, making appreciation more thoughtful and impactful. I also like the Recognition Insights Dashboard, which provides useful data on how recognition is being used across the organization so leaders can better understand employee engagement. Another feature I appreciate is the ability to interact with recognition posts using emoji reactions, GIFs, and rich text, which makes celebrating achievements more fun and engaging for employees. These updates help create a more positive and interactive culture of appreciation in the workplace

WorkTango is a great platform for employee recognition, but there are a few areas where it could improve. For example, the reporting and data export features could be more customizable, especially for teams that need detailed reports or specific data formats.

It seems simple to use but it does seem to lack engagement by a lot of users. I am not sure why the disconnect.

What I like best about WorkTango is that it's not just a simple recognition tool, it is so much more. It’s something that everyone looks forward to, both when giving and receiving recognition. It creates a culture where appreciation isn’t just routine, it feels meaningful and exciting. Besides recognition, I really appreciate how WorkTango encourages us to be mindful about our health and the environment. I love that it provides ways to give back to others, whether it’s through gift giving or making donations. It truly helps us build a more caring workplace and community.

**What do you dislike about WorkTango?**

I would like to see a wider selection of merchandise to choose from. Additionally, it would be great to have a separate entry for tree planting, where the company or WorkTango matches the number of trees planted to help rehabilitate the forest. Finally, I suggest having an entry for monthly team building activities that showcase team accomplishments.

WorkTango offers a platform where individuals can be recognized for their achievements and for the support they provide to others. It also fosters a sense of personal pride when you accomplish something meaningful for yourself, contribute to others, or make a positive impact on the environment. This is a feature that many other companies and employees may lack, but fortunately, WorkTango is there to fill that gap.

The peer-to-peer recognition is simple but powerful. It allows employees to recognize each other in real time, tied directly to core values. The best part is that WorkTango helps HR teams connect the dots between engagement, recognition, and performance.

Customizing surveys, setting up dashboards, and configuring recognition programs may require training or support. Mobile experience is not as polished as the desktop version.

WorkTango is a fantastic tool for incentivizing performance and fostering a positive work environment. It effectively highlights and recognizes staff for their excellent contributions; an extra carrot at the end of the stick for a hard day’s work, with a wide variety of rewards to redeem. Truly valuable for any team.

Because points expire at the end of the quarter, it often turns into a quarter-end bonanza with staff rewarding each other.If there were more incentives for staff to give out points throughout the year that would help mitigate this.

WorkTango helps solve the problem of recognizing and rewarding staff for their contributions in a structured and visible way. By making it easy to highlight excellent work and offer tangible rewards, it fosters a positive and motivating work environment. It helps managers recognize their teams with not a lot of time and effort.  It's frustrating in HR when you hear "no one tells me I do a good job." When a manager can engage with their teams in a minute or less there's no excuse!

Great range of rewards available, particularly the variety of virtual gift cards. There is a good mix of thresholds too, meaning you can still get a smaller voucher if you don't have a huge amount of points.

**What do you dislike about WorkTango?**

I find many of my colleagues forget to give props before they points expire. I'm aware the balance and expiry date appears on the home screen, but perhaps an email the week of expiration could help. I' also not sure if it's a feature already, but I would like for different roles to have different amount of points to give. For example, I run the complaints team and am also a trainer, I would like to have more points to give team members when they do well in training or deescalate a potential complaint.

I find it is a good medium for building rapport with colleagues and showing appreciation, such as sending points if a colleague helped with a difficult case or task.

This is a fun and delightful way to show appreciation to a teammate, offer birthday greetings, or just bring a little joy to someone's day without any special occasion. It's very easy to use, it keeps a running tab of how many points you have left to use, and also how many you've earned. I continue to use all my points quarterly, and only wish that I had more to give!

I honestly can't think of any downsides, as it's incredibly enjoyable and simple to use. I have never even needed to use customer support!

Work Tango is great for helping me remember my co-workers' birthdays. I really appreciate not having to worry about forgetting anyone!

Fostering a positive work environment is important to me. I enjoy giving recognitions and appreciate the opportunity to connect with colleagues I don't usually interact with. It makes the workplace more enjoyable and helps build stronger relationships. it is very easy to use, and everyone has caught on. the customer support was and is AMAZING!!

At this point, I haven't found anything specific to mention. It does appear to be quite popular.

The platform is straightforward and user-friendly. As a manager, I appreciate not having to constantly come up with new ideas to enhance the workplace. It's convenient to have all the tools and features needed to support my team gathered in one place.

I love how frictionless it is to send appreciation. The UI is clean, intuitive, and the point system adds a nice touch of gamification that keeps the team engaged. Whether it's a small shoutout or a big milestone, WorkTango helps us make recognition visible and consistent across the org.

**What do you dislike about WorkTango?**

There’s not much to dislike, but occasionally I wish there were more reward options or better filtering when browsing redemption items. Also, some notifications can feel repetitive, especially if you’re part of a large team. But these are minor compared to the overall experience.

**What problems is WorkTango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the classic issue of unrecognized effort. Before WorkTango, appreciation often stayed between managers and direct reports or got missed entirely. Now, anyone can recognize anyone instantly, across teams and levels. That visibility encourages a positive, collaborative culture. It also makes giving appreciation a regular habit, not just a yearly review thing.

Rewarding employees for keeping up with company training is a great way to maintain engagement. The platform is user-friendly and offers so many options to keep things fun! Our teams can use it as often as they like for employee shout-outs, and incentives are offered weekly. A great way to rack up points to trade in for a number of different rewards.

I wish you could put memes or GIFs in the comments section.

WIth many departments across different locations, you don't always get to see everyone in person. Having this platform is good for keeping everyone connected and allows everyone to see the recognition of a job well done, no matter where they are located.

I love being able to share shout-outs with coworkers, thanking them for their work and showing my appreciation in a public way for others to then also give them high-fives and recognition for their contributions.

**What do you dislike about WorkTango?**

So far, I haven't found anything to dislike about WorkTango. My only suggestion for improvement would be to hide incentives that you've already achieved and can't use again within the same year. This way, you would only see the incentives that are still available to you.

They are providing such a tangible way to show appreciation and recognition to employees. 
We're also using the check-in features to set goals and evaluate performance and that has been really great as well.

Easy to use, smooth navigation and plenty of features to set up a customized experience. I don't request Customer Support often but when I do the service is quick and friendly

**What do you dislike about WorkTango?**

One downside is that there is some loading issues during periods of increase traffic (last day at the end of quarter) so I make sure to use the platform on a eariler date.

**What problems is WorkTango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides me a direct and efficient way to reward my peers for our teamwork. In a way its also a quick way to learn a little bit more about colleagues, what they have accomplished and even their birthdays and work anniversary

**What do you like best about WorkTango?**

WorkTango is easy to use.  Once you log in, you will be able to see the activity feed, featuring all of your colleagues recognition.  You will also be able to send recognition of your own and award points to your colleagues. 

You will also get an email when you receive prop points from colleagues. 

You can recognize colleagues using Sedgwick's Caring model. 

It is very easy to check your own rewards and perform activities for incentives.  I do like the pre-paid gift cards.

**What do you dislike about WorkTango?**

I would like to be able to get an alert/email/text regarding how many points I have earned or to be able to set a limit for instance, I would set a notification to alert me everytime I reach 1500 points or 2000 points

**What problems is WorkTango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Worktango to monitor employee engagement and also to recognize employees and to encourage employees to recognize each other.  It is benefiting the company to see that employees stay engaged and recognize each others efforts to make a positive environment for all.

What I like best about WorkTango is how it brings together recognition, rewards, and employee feedback in one platform. It makes it easy to celebrate achievements, collect insights through surveys, and give leaders clear, real-time data to act on. The large rewards marketplace, flexible recognition options, and intuitive dashboards make it a strong tool for boosting engagement and building a positive workplace culture.

**What do you dislike about WorkTango?**

- Reporting & data export options are limited. Hard to get custom reports or raw data the way some teams want.  ￼
	•	The rewards store can be frustrating: items missing, hard to find what you want, slow redemption.  ￼
	•	Some users say rewards require too many points to be meaningful, so it feels like a lot of work before you get something valuable.  ￼
	•	UX / navigation & performance issues: the interface can feel cluttered; mobile version sometimes less stable; slow load times.  ￼
	•	Integration delays or problems: updates from connected systems (HRIS etc.) sometimes take time to reflect, creating inconsistencies.  ￼
	•	Learning curve & setup: because the platform is feature-rich, admins/users may need more time to get used to it.  ￼

Encourages recognizing your coworkers for their good-doings, let them know they are appreciated (and rewarded). Easy to navigate through the app and website, motivates employees to use the app often and claim incentives. Good marketplace system as well.

**What do you dislike about WorkTango?**

The most annoying thing I had happen was getting email notifications for comments, I know you are able to turn them off in settings, but I was recognized in a post along with 400 other people and almost every person commented on that post saying "thank you" so in about 4-6 hours we all had over 200 emails sent to our accounts. I think those comments should be suppressed if there's that many people tagged.

My main issue with my previous jobs was I never got recognized for my work, using Worktango its very easy to not only get recognized, but to recognize your colleauges as well.

**What do you like best about WorkTango?**

WorkTango is awesome because it makes it very easy for coworkers to recognize each other with praise and points that can be turned into gift cards and products. It also enables us to give our earned points to charities to help fund those charities. It's a great way to give back, praise your coworkers and get rewarded for your extra efforts at the office. All of the praise brings joy to the work environment and raises an organization's collective affect.

As the administrator of WorkTango and a Senior HR Systems Specialist, I’ve really enjoyed how this platform has elevated employee engagement within our company. The tools are intuitive, user-friendly, and constantly improving — I’ve noticed frequent updates and new features that make it easier to manage and customize experiences for different user groups.

One of the things I value most is how much more interaction and participation we’ve seen from employees since using WorkTango. Whether it’s surveys, recognition, or feedback tools, it’s helped us build a stronger feedback culture. The survey tools specifically have given us deep insights into how our teams feel, what’s working, and what needs attention — which is incredibly helpful for strategic decisions.

What truly sets WorkTango apart, though, is the 100% confidentiality it guarantees in surveys. That has created a lot of trust and peace of mind among our employees, and as a result, they feel more comfortable being honest, which makes the feedback more valuable and actionable.

From an admin perspective, I also appreciate how easy it was to implement, the responsive customer support, and how well it integrates with our HRIS (BambooHR) — which has reduced a lot of manual work. The platform includes a solid number of features, and we use many of them regularly, from surveys to recognition campaigns.

Also, WorkTango has become part of our regular routines — we use it frequently throughout the year, not just for engagement surveys but also for continuous feedback collection and employee recognition. 

Overall, it's very easy to use, both for admins and end users, which makes adoption much smoother across the organization.

**What do you dislike about WorkTango?**

There are a few areas that could use some improvement. For example, while the dashboards are visually complete, the reporting section could be more customizable — sometimes we need data in a very specific format that’s not possible to configure directly from the platform. It would be great to have more flexible reporting tools or templates.

Additionally, although WorkTango is integrated with BambooHR, updates from Bamboo take longer than expected to reflect in WorkTango. This delay occasionally creates confusion, especially during periods of high employee movement (onboarding/offboarding).

Another issue we’ve encountered is around gift card redemptions. Many users mistakenly think they’ll receive a physical card, and we get a lot of questions about it. The instructions could definitely be improved to make that process more clear from the start.

Lastly, we’ve occasionally received invoices with very little context, which makes it difficult to understand what the charge is for. It would be helpful to include a clear explanation of the reason for the invoice, the amount, and how it’s being calculated, especially when it comes to user-based charges or proration. A bit more transparency in billing would make the admin experience smoother.

Before WorkTango, we didn’t have a structured way for employees to share how they were feeling or what they needed. There were a lot of communication gaps — especially when it came to identifying concerns, improvement areas, or even positive feedback that often went unnoticed.

Now, WorkTango has become a powerful and trustworthy tool that gives employees a safe space to express themselves. The fact that it’s confidential makes a huge difference — people feel comfortable being honest, and that gives us real insight into how to support them better.

In addition, the Recognition feature has had a really positive impact on our culture. It allows us to celebrate wins across teams and departments, and it helps us stay aware of the amazing things happening outside our own areas. At the end of the quarter, when its time for points refresh, WorkTango maintainence makes the site difficult to use. Sometimes the site does not load. At the end of the quarter the traffic is expected to increase. WorkTango should really reconsider their maintainence timings.
Also, the balance does not refresh automatically once someone is recognize. We need to manually refresh the page.

The rewards using the earned WorkTango points makes the employees more motivated to work and interact with other employees. It also helps the employees to get to know each other specially if there’s a new employees since WorkTango is giving points to newly hired and we get to high five it.

So far, there's no feature that I dislike in WorkTango aside from some missing items in rewards list that could make the list more rewarding.

Getting to know employees from other branches and the newly hired.

What people like best about WorkTango is its all-in-one platform for employee recognition, real-time feedback, and performance management. It makes it easy to celebrate wins, collect employee sentiment, and align goals—all in a user-friendly interface that boosts engagement and culture.

**What do you dislike about WorkTango?**

Limited customization in surveys and reporting for advanced users. 
Performance review tools can feel basic compared to dedicated platforms.
User interface, while clean, may feel cluttered or unintuitive to some.
Integration issues with certain HRIS or tools.
Mobile experience isn’t as robust as desktop.

**What problems is WorkTango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems it solves:
Low employee morale by enabling real-time recognition.
Lack of feedback through anonymous pulse surveys.
Disconnected goals and performance with structured 1-on-1s and goal tracking.

Benefits:

t’s built in a way that doesn’t feel forced – people actually use it, especially when milestones are automated (like birthdays or work anniversaries, which let’s face it, we always forget)

**What do you dislike about WorkTango?**

while decent, still feels a bit more basic compared to some of the newer tools out there that offer gamification, social feeds, or real-time integrations with Slack/Teams in a slicker way.

**What problems is WorkTango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it’s been a great way to fix something that used to be hit-or-miss for us: making sure people actually feel appreciated. Before, recognition really depended on individual managers or random shoutouts during meetings – and let’s be honest, that meant some great work just went unnoticed.

**What do you like best about WorkTango?**

I love how WorkTango fosters camaraderie by allowing us to highlight colleagues' successes, enhancing our workplace culture. The monthly rewards exchange is delightful, offering flexibility to treat myself. Also, the user-friendly features, including the ability to select recognitions and write notes, are incredibly beneficial. The wide variety of reward benefits feels almost endless, making it a versatile tool.

**What do you dislike about WorkTango?**

I don't really have anything that I would change. Maybe, the ability to put it on a Visa gift card. Sometimes the merchants do have some limitations, but overall, 10 out of 10.

**What problems is WorkTango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find WorkTango fosters camaraderie among colleagues, highlights successes, and offers incentives, allowing flexibility and rewards through gift card exchanges.
