"Easy peer recognition, but admin settings, announcements, and pricing need improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about WorkTango?

Worktango is an easy to use and friendly interface that makes it simple for our team members to recognize one another with points that can be redeemed for prizes. The inclusion of the High Five feature is a great added benefit that allows people to add onto the original point awards that were made by other people.

As an administrator, I particularly like the way the Awards & Nominations tool works in support of our quarterly OneCSB Award. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WorkTango?

The flexibility of Worktango is adequate, but certainly could be better. I would prefer it if the product had additional tools to post messages and announcements in a more prominent way for users to see.

As an administrator, I have often found it difficult to find features and settings that I'm quite sure are in the admin panel. The organization of these settings leaves something to be desired.

Unfortunately, the biggest drawback of Worktango is the price. While the company was willing to work hard in negotiating our pricing this last year, the price of Worktango is still out of line with many other similar products and well above what I would say it provides in benefits. "My favorite work platform"
5/5
What do you like best about WorkTango?

I love that the rewards are customizable and that, as an employer, you can give them as an actual benefit for working here. The positivity is such a team boost! Our team often gives shout-outs, recognition to teammates, across departments, and across the company. It is so easy to use and easy to set up, and implement. Customer service is incredible and really answer your questions. Our team uses it at least once a day and we have loved how it integrates so easily with Slack! What do you dislike about WorkTango?

I wish that the catalog would automatically buy the rewards for companies! Obviously, this is so hard to do since each company sets the value, but maybe for some of the bigger box stores (Amazon, McDonald's, etc), it would help speed up the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A great platform for fostering a culture of saying thank you and fostering relationships"
5/5
What do you like best about WorkTango?

A great way for people to recognize and acknowledge people they've worked with, either within their team or from other teams, either publicly or privately, AND enabling them to accrue points they can ultimately roll up into getting something tangible they care about through a WorkTango partner voucher.

Further to this, it is a great way to foster a culture of acknowledgment and thankfulness. With how busy things can get, it's easy to forget to say thank you or acknowledge the hard work and efforts people have made on that project you worked on together, or for being so supportive on that that thing, or helping you on X deadline. Every quarter running up to the deadline for when points expire, it makes you think back and reflect on whats happened over the past 3 months, and thank people for how they've shown up. What do you dislike about WorkTango?

Being left with a weird amount of points to share across a lot of people can result in them getting a weird acknowledgement, such as 23 points per person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An easy to use web app with a great interface and navigation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about WorkTango?

The website itself is user-friendly, easy to navigate, and has a modern look and feel. The ability to easily recognize a coworker at the top of the page is one of my favorite features, and the rewards system is also setup in a convenient way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WorkTango?

Some of the photos on the rewards and incentives pages are small and hard to see, especially on smaller screen sizes. Occasionally, the submission process for some rewards is also difficult and a bit cumbersome to navigate as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"WorkTango Incentivizes Collaboration by Enabling Teammates to Recognize and Reward Each Other"
5/5
What do you like best about WorkTango?

WorkTango is helpful because it promotes team cohesion by being able to recognize and reward your coworkers who helped you solve a problem at work. By giving you a way to send your coworker a tangible reward it reinforces productivity and company morale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WorkTango?

WorkTango only offers 5 topics and annoyingly makes you pick a topic when giving recognition (i.e. "Stand for what's right", Succeed Together as one", "Build Our Future" is particularly cringe if said coworker could ambiguously be a romantic prospect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"WorkTango Makes Rewards and Recognition Easy, Fast, and User-Friendly"
4/5
What do you like best about WorkTango?

What I like most about WorkTango is how easy and convenient it makes employee rewards and recognition. The platform is user-friendly and straightforward to navigate, and reward claims are processed quickly and in real time. Overall, it creates a smooth experience for employees while also keeping things efficient for administrators who manage rewards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WorkTango?

I’d like more visibility into incentive claims. Admins currently can’t view uploaded supporting documents before claims are automatically approved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Employee Recognition with Great Ease"
5/5
What do you like best about WorkTango?

I like the fact that I can recognize multiple people at one time using WorkTango. I can add images with notes like 'awesome work' and 'great support,' which I find motivating. It's a cohesive tool that makes it easy for me to acknowledge people and teams that help me do my job. WorkTango is an important part of my work, especially while working remotely, as it helps me bond and build relationships with coworkers. It's easy to use, and the initial setup was extremely easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WorkTango?

I would love to be able to see the history of my recognition because the version we have just shows the latest one within the company. I want to be able to specifically see if I have recognized someone before, so I can change my message to reinforce recognition and help leadership understand a person's value to the organization. "Enhancing Workplace Recognition with WorkTango"
5/5
What do you like best about WorkTango?

One of the new things I like about WorkTango is the addition of AI-powered features that help improve recognition and engagement across teams. For example, the Recognition Writing Assistant helps users write clearer and more meaningful recognition messages, making appreciation more thoughtful and impactful. I also like the Recognition Insights Dashboard, which provides useful data on how recognition is being used across the organization so leaders can better understand employee engagement. Another feature I appreciate is the ability to interact with recognition posts using emoji reactions, GIFs, and rich text, which makes celebrating achievements more fun and engaging for employees. These updates help create a more positive and interactive culture of appreciation in the workplace Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WorkTango?

WorkTango is a great platform for employee recognition, but there are a few areas where it could improve. For example, the reporting and data export features could be more customizable, especially for teams that need detailed reports or specific data formats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
