Almost anything that I need to do no matter how convoluted it is, they have a solution for. They also have great training options, whether live via zoom, or recorded. I basically learned how to do payroll from these trainings. **What do you dislike about UKG Pro?** The endless service tickets. I want one person/phone number to call and deal with one service person. Maybe they need to research it, get back to me. But the endless service tickets are insane. Plus they tend to nickle and dime you to death on almost everything. I appreciate that I'm given the ability to manually alter my shift times, it has come in handy more than a few times. I use UKG pro constantly, whether that be to look at my timecard details or to look up other employees. The ease of use and wide range of features is what sets UKG pro apart from the competition. **What do you dislike about UKG Pro?** My one complaint is that on the Windows version it's harder to find the timecard feature. I know that you go to workforce management, but I would prefer if it was displayed somewhere on the home screen. 50% of the time when I'm on UKG, I go to see my timecard. **What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** UKG Pro solves the problem of fragmentation in different areas of Human Capital Management. You're able to perform HR duties while also having access to talent management, performance management, benefits administration, recruiting, learning, and payroll solutions. When onboarding new employees there is always a sigh of relief when we mention that we use UKG Pro as our HR tool. People are familiar with this product and for us it's easy to implement. I log in everyday to generate reports and look up employee information, the layout makes it super easy to get what I need quickly so that I can get to other tasks. We use UKG Dimensions for timekeeping and the communication between both apps is seamless, as a General Manager I don't have to worry about loading the employee into two different apps, I know that that once I can see my new employee on UKG pro, I just a matter of a few hours I will be able to start timekeeping on Dimensions. Their quality of support (timeliness and knowledgeable staff) was definitely enough to make up for the clunky platform, so now without that it's very difficult to find silver linings. **What problems is UKG Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** We do have just about everything in one place, which is certainly the goal for us. UKG's compliance resources are pretty solid. When their support is working the way it should, it is pretty excellent. It's just not working right now for us. We initially chose UKG Pro over other providers largely because of their excellent customer support. For the first year, they lived up to that promise; support was responsive, knowledgeable, and accessible. Unfortunately, that experience has changed drastically in the last 4–6 months. Following what appears to be a restructuring of their support department(s), the quality and responsiveness have plummeted. Tickets now regularly go unanswered for weeks, sometimes months, and there is virtually no viable path for escalation. The support model has shifted away from real-time solutions; whereas we used to be able to speak with someone directly, we’re now stuck in a cycle of sending messages that go ignored or are simply forwarded to specialists who don’t reply. This is incredibly frustrating, especially because we made our vendor decision based on the strength of their support. Without that, UKG Pro simply doesn’t stand out. The platform itself feels outdated and clunky in several areas, lacking the modern UX and flexibility of other HRIS systems. While compliance features still meet expectations, the usability and responsiveness of the system have significantly declined.
