What do you dislike about Payactiv?

1. Fees for Some Transactions

• There can be a fee (e.g., ~$3) for instant cash transfers, depending on how you move money.

• If you don’t have the Payactiv prepaid card with direct deposit, there may be a monthly program fee (some report up to $5).

2. Access Limitations

• You may only be able to access up to ~50% of your earned wages before payday, depending on your employer’s policy.

• This means it may not cover very large emergencies if you need more than that.

3. Customer Service / Support Issues

• Some users say it’s really hard to get help when something goes wrong.

• According to BBB complaints, problems like account deactivation or access issues can drag on.

"Convenient Early Access to Funds But High Fees"

What do you like best about Payactiv?

I like having early access to my funds in between paydays with Payactiv. The clarity on fees when transferring is helpful as it lets me know the exact or expected amount coming out of my paycheck. The Payactiv card is a pretty color, and I appreciate how I can reload it and load funds easily. I dedicate two kinds of bills to my Payactiv account. The 'Pay your bills' feature, the ability to reload the card, and set automatic transfers are features I value. The initial setup was easy, and I find the customer service to be good. What do you dislike about Payactiv?

I don't like the fees being $2-3.49; I think it would be better if they were $0.50. Also, it would be nice if we could decorate the card. I like how Payactiv has helped me build a strong relationship with my father by allowing me to pay for things he can't afford. I appreciate being able to access extra cash in times of need and the ability to track it. I like that it has a spending limit, which prevents overspending. I really like that Payactiv is available whenever I need it, especially in emergencies. The feature that allows transfers to other cards is also something I find quite useful, particularly when I have bills due on certain days before I get paid. I use Payactiv to get my paycheck right after I finish working, which is awesome for handling immediate expenses like groceries and gas. I like that it's simple to use, and there isn't much trouble switching accounts to put funds in a different account.
