What do you like best about SOCi?

I've been using Soci regularly for managing social media at work, and overall, it's been a strong platform that balances brand compliance with flexible content creation and scheduling tools. Here's a breakdown of my experience across key areas:

Scheduling & Publishing

Soci makes it easy to schedule content across multiple locations and platforms with a centralized calendar. I can queue up campaigns well in advance, and the bulk scheduling feature is a major time-saver. Posts go out reliably, and platform-specific tweaks are straightforward.

Content Library

The shared content library is especially useful for multi-location teams. It allows our corporate and local teams to pull from pre-approved content that aligns with brand guidelines, which helps us stay consistent without being repetitive. It's also a great resource for evergreen content.

Brand Compliance Controls

One of Soci’s strongest features is its focus on brand protection. It gives corporate teams tight control over messaging and creative assets, while still allowing localized customization. This balance is critical for businesses with many locations or franchises.

Analytics & Reporting

The reporting dashboard provides valuable insights at both a high level and per location. It's easy to generate and export performance reports that include metrics like engagement, impressions, and post reach. The ability to compare locations is particularly useful for spotting trends and adjusting strategy.

There’s a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, especially for less tech-savvy users, but once you're familiar with the layout, it’s intuitive. The drag-and-drop scheduler and built-in workflows make day-to-day operations smoother.

Soci integrates with several major platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profiles, and LinkedIn. The local listing and review management integration also helps streamline reputation management within the same tool.

Support has been responsive and helpful when we’ve needed them. The Soci team provides onboarding and resources to help users get up to speed, and they’ve been receptive to feedback on platform improvements.

What do you like best about SOCi?

The most helpful part about SOCi is that it provides ready to use social media posts. This allows me to spend less time coming up with ideas and designing those ideas much and more time focusing on other parts of my job. The platform is easy to use, easy to integrate with our social media platforms, and easy to implement into my marketing strategy. I check in a couple times a month for new content/ideas- even if i don't use a premade graphic, I at the least leave the site with a great idea for one.

What do you dislike about SOCi?

What do you like best about SOCi?

I've been using Soci to upload pictures to social media, and it's honestly one of the easiest platforms I’ve worked with. The website is incredibly intuitive — from the moment you log in, everything is laid out clearly, making it simple to navigate even if you're not super tech-savvy.

One of the things I really appreciate is how quick and seamless the upload process is. Drag-and-drop functionality makes adding photos effortless, and scheduling posts is just as straightforward. I also like how Soci allows me to preview how posts will look on different platforms — it takes the guesswork out of formatting.

Another standout feature is the centralized dashboard. Being able to manage multiple social media accounts in one place saves me a ton of time, and the analytics tools give me helpful insights without feeling overwhelming.

What do you dislike about SOCi?

there are a few areas where Soci could improve. For one, the image editing tools are pretty limited — if you need to make detailed adjustments, you’ll probably have to use another app before uploading. Also, while the scheduling feature works well, I’ve noticed that bulk uploading and editing scheduled posts can be a bit clunky, especially when managing large volumes of content.

What do you like best about SOCi?

Onboarding with SOCi was relatively straightforward, especially since I’ve worked with other listings platforms before. There were a few moments where I felt my previous experience filled in some gaps the SOCi team wasn’t fully prepared for, but overall, the process was smooth.

What I really like about SOCi is that it serves as a one-stop shop for managing multiple aspects of our online presence - from listings and reviews to social media cascading and more. What do you dislike about SOCi?

Support can occasionally be slower to respond during urgent situations, which can be challenging when quick resolutions are needed. It would also be great to see more frequent integrations with newer platforms to keep pace with the evolving digital landscape.

What do you like best about SOCi?

I love that you can create and schedule your social media in advance. You can create one post to post at the same time to different social media platforms which simplifies the process. I enjoy that Soci allows you to select articles to share on your social media. You can search for different articles in their search engine. You can customize notifications to know when a client has left a review for you and their software determines if the review is positive or negative. What do you like best about SOCi?

What I appreciate most about SOCi is that it allows me to accomplish with a single platform what previously required three separate tools. I rely on it for social media scheduling, reputation management, and gathering insights. We also use SOCi to automate posts for our more than 50 franchises through the community calendar feature. This is especially helpful because franchises have the flexibility to opt in for additional content or opt out and continue sharing their own organic posts as they prefer. The SOCi team provides excellent customer support and is always ready to assist us, whether by guiding us through existing features or by developing entirely new reports tailored to our needs. What do you dislike about SOCi?

The only aspect I find frustrating is that the "peak time" feature in the social media scheduling tool consistently defaults to 6:00 pm. I'm not sure how this feature determines the optimal time, or why it always selects this particular hour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how the landing page provides a well rounded snapshot of valuable information related to your connected socials and their engagement with customers/clients. What do you like best about SOCi?

I truly appreciate SOCi’s robust insights and reporting capabilities, which provide valuable data to assess performance quickly across all our store locations. The platform’s ability to easily group locations enhances our operational efficiency. Moreover, the customizable nature of SOCi is another significant strength; it allows us to modify attributes globally for all 2,500 store locations with remarkable speed. What do you dislike about SOCi?

I find the support tickets to be slow in response time, which is problematic when urgent issues with store listings arise, and timely resolutions are necessary within the same day. Additionally, during the initial setup of SOCi, there were numerous challenges in aligning the data stream accurately, particularly concerning store hours, which resulted in a cumbersome implementation process. What do you like best about SOCi?

We are locked in and not having to do the work to switch is a strong motivator to stay. The new UI on pages does seem to fix a few pain points, in good news. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SOCi?

Very long list, up to and including this survey which has bizarre word count requirements. Very poor communication, tendency to prioritize selling new products to random people they find in LinkedIn at our company higher than informing me what's going on, a THREE DAY migration window on completely switching over new software, refusal to send us announcements or explanations or URLs through email so we have to wait for the meeting every time. Generally high price. Just so many incidents.. Example incident: Us getting told to use a certain email address for support incidents, getting utterly ignored at that email address for two weeks, for an error message about us not having access to delete accounts, then finally (in a meeting) getting told as an aside that it was never possible to delete accounts in the old interface (even though we've been doing so for years and the UI for it existed) and also the support function was moved to a UI that we weren't given access to until weeks after it was moved.
