What do you like best about Yext?

The Yext platform is transparent about what's it's doing for every user. I can see what platforms my data is reaching and where the gaps are that i need to fix. I love that it is constantly evolving and getting better as a product and as UX for it's users. I believe it's the best on the market for pages and listings as it has the biggest reach of publishers. Having first access to newer Google and Apple features is also a huge bonus Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yext?

The support you get through Yext is incredible, however, i have issues with the ticketing system. Although i appreciate it makes every issue streamlined for a quick response, the tickets can be hard to follow and easy to miss updates. It's unclear who is looped into the ticket so i don't know if i have to notify other people or if they are also in the ticket.

As someone who works across multiple clients, I have around 20 different log ins which i use. My dream is to have one central log in where i can access all my clients Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Yext?

The power of the overall suite has allowed location-specific work to achieve greater success for our customers. The flexibility of our Pages instance, for example, allows us to be quite active at supporting the customer locations while also giving benefit to our Brands across the web. What do you dislike about Yext?

I don't think it's a fault of Yext per se, but our use case is not as conventional as many of the Yext clients as we don't own the locations we support with the platform. These are customer locations, 3rd parties, and this is more of a distributor model so we don't have access to things like Google Business Profiles to really take advantage of the full suite of services.

What do you like best about Yext?

I like the simplicity of Yext, as it allows me to manage everything in one place instead of using multiple vendors. The help videos Yext provides are really great because they let me solve problems on my own and work independently when I need to. I also appreciate how using Yext helps keep all our Google listings up to date, which is really helpful. What do you dislike about Yext?

Definitely, the help center, I would say. We go through many different project managers with Yext. You guys have a big turnover, I feel like, with it. And we don't always get the answers that we're looking for in a timely way. Sometimes it you know, it's many days or weeks or we have support tickets open for a longer period of time, and you know, we need answers right away. And, sometimes the team just doesn't have the answers for us and that's hard to go back to our ops team and share with them that you know, paying for services and yet sometimes we don't have the right tools to get us what we need. What do you like best about Yext?

The best location management tool in the world which makes it possible to distribute local store information to all most important publishers. This tool takes you soo much work out of your hands, you can't imagine to manage your brand in the country or worldwide. Also you're able to create all kinds of automations easily to other tools that need local info real-time or sync your event data from Yext to your website in real-time. What do you like best about Yext?

I like having all reviews in one place with Yext, as it helps us gather Yelp and Google reviews on one platform and view review ratings and percentages for each location easily. The AI-generated reviews feature is also helpful, especially when we have several reviews to reply to, as it can become repetitive responding to each one. It modifies responses and gives character to each individual review, which boosts efficiency. Plus, the initial setup of Yext was very easy and straightforward. What do you dislike about Yext?

Having new reviews automatically pop up or receive a pop-up notification when a new review comes in is something I wish Yext would do. I have to continuously refresh our Yext page to view new reviews. Sometimes the reviews don't populate until a day or two later, even though they show up in Google in real time. "Efficient Listings Management, But Sync Issues Persist"
What do you like best about Yext?

I like that I can update my business hours once and it will update everywhere. I also appreciate being able to give access to my staff without having to add and remove them from each platform. Additionally, I find it convenient that Yext is integrated with my website, allowing me to add or remove coaches in Yext and have them appear or disappear on my section of the website. What do you dislike about Yext?

It's not so much a Yext issue as a permissions issue. Some items are locked for editing by my franchisor, which is super frustrating. There's also the issue of updating Apple Maps. Yext is constantly having a syncing issue. I've updated my business hours in Yext and tried to sync to Apple Maps, but it constantly shows an error, so despite being open for over a year, Apple Maps still lists us as coming soon. What do you like best about Yext?

Yext offers strong analytics reports that let us compare our listings’ growth over the years. I also like being able to build custom reports based on what we need. It’s easy to schedule listing updates and keep an eye on incoming reviews across all of our locations. What do you like best about Yext?

YEXT has a very comprehensive feature set that is applicable to important functions for businesses of all kinds.

Whether healthcare facilities, international brands, or small retail businesses with a manageable number of locations, YEXT is easy to use after a short training and familiarization period, thanks to its clear UI.

Synchronizing entities works quickly, and the listing directory immediately indicates if there is a problem on Google's side and how it can be resolved. Batch imports of large amounts of data with many changes or many new entities also work well.

In terms of pricing, YEXT is one of the most cost-intensive providers, which is justifiable due to the aforementioned feature set. There are smaller providers that are more cost-effective, but they cannot be used for healthcare facilities, for example, because no alternative practitioners can be set up there.

Regarding AI at YEXT, I can't say much, as currently no AI features are in use for our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yext?

The promotion of internal employees of the respective contracting companies could be better. It is mostly referred to the Hitchhiker Forum, where help articles can be browsed.
