## DAISY Reviews
  ### 1. User-friendly Daisy is a great choice

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kimberly E. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2022

**What do you like best about DAISY?**

It's super user-friendly and very simple to learn. I came from 8 years of Eaglesoft and picked this up in a snap. They also offer great tech support for their software.

**What do you dislike about DAISY?**

Daisy's periodontal charting feature can be a bit confusing.
I also dislike that Astra Practice Partners have such a tight hold on Daisy, that they don't allow Daisy to fully integrate with outside reminder software such as Weave or SolutionReach. There are work arounds, but it never fully integrates, creating issues with being able to use all the features offered by the software.

**What problems is DAISY solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a front office administrator, one of the most frustrating things is when a staff member fails to let me know that a procedure was done or not done. People are human and can forget. When they do remember to tell me, I'm always thankful for Daisy's "Transactions" queue. When you check out a patient, the transaction is held in a queue, and the claim isn't created until transactions are posted from the queue at the end of each day. No more having to cancel a claim to correct it. You're able to modify it.

  ### 2. Daisy review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deborah R. | Dental Assistant, Hospital & Health Care, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2018

**What do you like best about DAISY?**

Once you figure out the icons, its easy to navigate

**What do you dislike about DAISY?**

Icons aren't labeled well and can take time to learn what each one is for.

**Recommendations to others considering DAISY:**

Get as much help as you can and practice. Bit of a learning curve.

**What problems is DAISY solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its great for charting and the perio charting is a listening program so the hygienist can do her own perio charting without asking for help.

  ### 3. Not bad, but you can do better

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2018

**What do you like best about DAISY?**

I like how multiple windows can be open, so you can work by switching back and forth, without having to close and reopen windows to complete your task. The best feature is that after you check out a patient, the transactions are stored in a queue until you're ready to prices the end of day. That enables you to review all that day's charges, payments, and adjustments before actually posting and creating claims. I love this feature because you can make edits and correct charging errors without having to cancel the claim and recreate it, like you'd have to do with Eaglesoft, for instance.

**What do you dislike about DAISY?**

There is no built in time clock, like in many other dental softwares. Also, some reports are lacking, or difficult to generate. Sometimes it takes 4 or 5 clicks to do what Eaglesoft can do in 2 or 3 clicks.

**Recommendations to others considering DAISY:**

I wouldn't switch from Eaglesoft or Dentrix to Daisy.

**What problems is DAISY solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After using it for 4 years now, it's definitely grown on me. It's not anything spectacular, but it does its job to satisfaction. Again, the biggest benefit I've realized is the transaction queue. Having experience with co-workers failing to remember to tell me that they administered fluoride, or that an "MO" filling turned into an "MOD", I've really appreciated being able to modify charges and codes before claims are generated.
