# 2021 Freightliner installation

Do not buy this product if you have a 2021 Freightliner. Customer support has no clue on how to install the units on any Freightliner newer than 2018. I spoke to many people many times and no one was able or willing to help.

In the end I had to take the truck to my local Freightliner dealer and had to pay for them to install the cable.

I am running into the same problem on my 2018 Freightliner Cascadia.  I've spent hours trying to find the Power Battery Splice pack and have had no luck.  I made the connection to the 1939 and GND splice packs with little issue though.  I've gotten no help from Motive and am wondering if there is a different place to make the connection.  What did the freightliner dealer end up doing?
