I really like the apps features and tools that helps me in generating and refining my pdf files or my other documents for the personal or professional work. Although it seems a bit complicated at first, if we manage to learn and make some gradual transition process in using the tools of Adobe Acrobat it would be a great deal for me and my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Actually there is nothing to dislike or hate there are some tough tools which are really hard and sophisticated to use but I think that a tutorial of how to use these tools is much needed in the software itself or rather I would say to make some lessons in the tools itself for the learning of these tools and processes. Adobe Acrobat Pro has been a reliable and essential tool for handling PDFs in our day-to-day work. We primarily use Acrobat for creating, editing, reviewing, and securely sharing PDF documents related to academic content, administrative work, and research documentation. As users, we find Acrobat Pro stable and well-integrated into our existing workflows. Editing text, organizing pages, adding comments, and exporting files to other formats are smooth and intuitive. Features like commenting, highlighting, and annotations are especially useful when collaborating with colleagues on reviews or approvals. The ability to handle large or complex PDFs without performance issues is another strong advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some limitations from a user perspective. Acrobat Pro can feel feature-heavy for simple tasks, and new users may take some time to discover the most relevant tools. Occasional interface changes also require brief adjustment. However, these are minor compared to the overall functionality and reliability it provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Adobe Acrobat is the leading and default PDF provider. It is very easy to deploy on user accounts, the basic Adobe Acrobat version is freely available for self download. Very easy to implement centrally via IT push. Customer support is quick, within a few hours, which make implementations eady.
We use professional Acrobat which had additional features to edit and add forms.
It is used weekly/daily depending on tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a bug when you delete a form or save that it can stop allowing any further edits to a file. Bit annoying when you need to complete a 40 page file! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This tool is incredibly fast and allows me to view, edit, sign, and manage my PDFs efficiently. I appreciate that I can access it from any device while on the go, and it consistently delivers a great experience no matter where I use it. The collaboration features are also impressive, making it easy to work with team members, track previous versions, add comments, and more. Additionally, its seamless integration with other apps creates a more intuitive experience for users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Numerous pop-ups and unwanted windows appear while I'm working, which makes it challenging for me to focus on my tasks. The free version restricts access to many features, locking them behind the paid version, so users can't fully enjoy all the functionalities. Additionally, the paid version is quite expensive, making it unaffordable for many people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1) The most powerful PDF editing software is Powerful PDF. You are allowed to edit text, images, and layouts directly in PDFs with high accuracy. The signature verification in the PDF is also very good, which solves this problem on this platform. Due to these reasons, customers use it very frequently.
2. Reliability in converting PDFs to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and images ensures great facilities for converting these files.
3)Advanced annotation & review: Comments, highlights, stamps, and shared review workflows work as expected.
4)Security features: very strong. Password protection, redaction, digital signatures, and certificate-based security.
5)Form creation: Robust features to create fillable and interactive PDF forms.
6) Cross-platform support: Works on Windows, macOS, web, and mobile with cloud sync.
7) Customer Support are very good and solve any problem properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1) Subscription Cost
Subscription cost is high compared with others, especially with casual subscribers.
2) Performance problems issue is annoying. Use can be sluggish on older computers.
3)Feature overload: When you only need simple PDF functionality, the interface can seem cluttered.
4) Frequent Updates: This is practical yet sometimes disruptive in an organizational environment.
5) Poor Ease of Integration:
Though a premier PDF solution, Adobe Acrobat is sometimes found struggling to integrate well into third-party environments. Integrating the software with third-party tools, especially non-Adobe software and those that are less popular, sometimes needs external plugins or procedures. The best aspect of Adobe Acrobat is that it allows you to edit, convert, and sign files all in one place, and it does so reliably. Adobe Acrobat truly serves as a one-stop solution for all types of PDF needs. Additionally, it offers a secure environment for handling your documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't really anything to dislike about the product itself. On one hand, it is a very powerful software, but on the other hand, it is quite expensive and feels too heavy, especially if you only need to do basic PDF tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of the most valuable aspects of Adobe Acrobat is its remarkable ease of use combined with a comprehensive set of features. As the industry standard, its primary strength is the reliable creation, editing, and management of PDF documents, ensuring that files are displayed exactly as intended across all platforms. Implementing Adobe Acrobat is also straightforward, thanks to the universal recognition of the PDF format, which makes document sharing simple and efficient. Additionally, its advanced features are highly beneficial, providing robust security options like password protection and restricted printing, the ability to merge different file types into a single document, and powerful OCR capabilities for working with scanned files. Furthermore, seamless integration with Microsoft Office, web browsers, and other Adobe products significantly streamlines professional workflows. Customer support is available as well. One of the main drawbacks of Adobe Acrobat is its high cost, especially because of the required subscription model. This can be a significant barrier for individual users and small organizations. The subscription-based pricing is often cited as a major disadvantage, particularly when compared to other available options. In terms of performance, the application sometimes starts slowly and can consume a lot of system resources, especially when working with very large or graphically complex PDF files. While the product documentation is comprehensive, my experience with direct Customer Support has sometimes been frustrating, with slow responses or a complicated process when urgent technical issues arise. I use the software daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Adobe Acrobat is their feature-rich platform that give exceptional experience in managing PDF and document. Not only for reading PDF, it also support for text editing(edit text and document layout), e-signature(signing digital document/business) and file compress(to resize or compress file smaller). To start implement it is easy, just install the program on computer or smartphone, register for new account and you are ready to use all their tools with free trial account. I use Adobe for daily-basis, every document that I receive, I run the generative summary tool first to know the content and use the chat prompt to get in deep with the content. It has truly cut my analyzing time more than 50%, time that I can use for more pressing matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I tried to use the Read aloud for documents feature, but the tool is failed to detect the text and showing error. Still waiting for customer support to solve this issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Adobe Acrobat is an essential tool in a business and professional setting because it streamlines every part of the document workflow for our department. From creation and editing to secure sharing and e-signatures. What I like best is how reliably it preserves formatting across devices and platforms, ensuring that contracts, proposals, reports, and presentations always look polished and consistent for clients and colleagues. The ability to easily combine files, add comments, protect sensitive information, and collect legally binding signatures in minutes saves tremendous time and reduces friction across teams. Acrobat’s intuitive interface, powerful editing tools, and seamless integrations with other business applications make it a must-have for maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism in daily operations. I really only have small dislikes that do not supersede the positives of the platform. Something that frustrates me is when adding fields to a form, you can enter them, but can not preview that form with the fields unless you close out of the function altogether. It elongates the process but does not impeed the ability to do what I need to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If I had a nickel for every PDF I've had to edit over the years, I'd be a very wealthy man. I really appreciate being able to organize pages, combine PDFs, update text, use forms and e-signatures, and take advantage of some of the security tools. However, what I value most is the accessibility checker. It's always important to me to ensure that any PDF hosted online is compliant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have many complaints about the product, as it seems to be the industry standard. That said, I do find Docusign to be much more user-friendly when it comes to their e-signature feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
