## Bluebeam Reviews
 ### 1. Intuitive Markups and Smooth Collaboration for Faster Drawing Reviews

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivam p. | Junior Field Technician, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

What I like most about Bluebeam Revu is how easy it makes reviewing and marking up drawings. The tools are very intuitive, and collaboration with team members is smooth, especially when working on construction or design documents. It really helps save time and keeps everything organized in one place.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

One thing I don’t like about Bluebeam Revu is that it can feel a bit complex at the beginning, especially for new users. Some features take time to learn, and the software can occasionally lag with large files. Also, the pricing can be on the higher side for smaller teams

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam helps me work with drawings and documents in a faster and more organized way. Instead of printing and marking plans by hand, I can review, comment, and measure everything digitally.

 ### 2. Flexible PDF Editing with Powerful Live Commenting and Markup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dondi Jed S. | Electrical Drafter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

it is very flexible in terms of editing pdf documents. it also has live commenting or markup capabilities which other pdf editing tools don't have and is very useful especially for pdfs with 100's of sheets.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

there hasnt been anything wrong that i have experienced with bluebeam. i have always recommended it in comparison to other pdf editing tool.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was looking for a simple way to track which markups or comments were already completed and which ones still weren’t. Bluebeam makes this easy by letting you assign different status categories to markups, so I can quickly filter, review, and confirm what’s done and what still needs attention. it also allows for user to apply visibility of completed and uncompleted markups to unclutter the pdf document.

 ### 3. Easy Drawing Markups and Document Management with Bluebeam

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keli L. | Project Logistics Manager, Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Bluebeam makes it so easy to view drawings, mark up as necessary, and manage document combining, separating and merging.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Coming from a graphic design background I used Adobe products for years. The switch was difficult in how tools work, and the short cut keys, but Bluebeam is easy to use and easy to catch on to.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam makes my pdf management a breeze. It's very easy to pull out pages, combine docs, edit docs and mark up construction drawings with the markup tools.

 ### 4. A Versatile PDF Tool with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David K. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

I find Bluebeam to be a very robust tool. If you think it can be done, it has it—like a toolbox. Overall, there's just about nothing it can't do. When it comes to PDF editing, there's the tool callout, custom tools, and the ability to draw, edit, comment, do multiples of things including adding additional layers, and mark out. It's quite the Swiss army knife of PDFs.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Its interface is not the most intuitive, and it is quite slow to load.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bluebeam for co-editing PDFs and creating workflows that document changes. It helps track corrections, identify who made them, and when, while simplifying markup and editing.

 ### 5. Bluebeam Streamlines Construction Plan Reviews with Accurate Markups and Real-Time Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

What I like most about Bluebeam is how much more efficient it makes construction document review and collaboration. The markup, measurement, and takeoff tools are very accurate and straightforward to use, and features like Studio Sessions let multiple team members review plans together in real time. It also keeps drawings well organized, makes it easy to track revisions clearly, and saves a huge amount of time during project coordination.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

The main downside is that Bluebeam can come with a bit of a learning curve for new users, especially when it comes to the more advanced tools and settings. It can also feel expensive compared to basic PDF software, but for construction management and other professional use, the added functionality and the time savings make it worth it.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam solves the challenge of managing and reviewing construction drawings efficiently. Instead of dealing with paper plans or scattered markups, it allows me to quickly measure quantities, add clear annotations, and track revisions all in one place. It also improves collaboration between project teams by keeping everyone on the same updated set of documents through Studio Sessions. Overall, it saves time, reduces errors, and makes project coordination much smoother from preconstruction through the field.

 ### 8. Quickly Creates Drop Counts and Footage Estimates for Data Cabling Pathways

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria B. | Office Manager, Client Relations & Digital Media Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

It's very quick to create drop counts and estimated footage for pathways for data cabling projects.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

It has a learning curve, but doesn't everything in life?

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We struggled during our bids to quickly and consistently create cable footage for pathways for data cabling along with quick ways to do a cable count. This software has helped tremendously with that!

 ### 9. Bluebeam - The must have software for construction professionals

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumit R. | Team Leader 1 BIM Poweruser, Construction, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Ability to place digital markup in documents, real-time collaboration and a centralized document management platform.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

There should be a separate Filter command. It is very cumbersome to use Filter option from Markups List

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam ensures better drawing and document management through Studio Session of a construction project. As it is in cloud so markups and changes are visible in real time

 ### 10. Scale Feature Makes Take-Offs and Tendering Fast and Accurate

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yarkin B. | Managing Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Doing take-offs with using the scale feature as a pre-construction manager/planner it really helps me tendering the projects and get the quantities.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

The software uses so much RAM and you do need a strong laptop. It crashes multiple times - especially if you are working for files over 30mb.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Again - doing take-offs, measuring the works, doing relevant mark-ups to plan construction works. Making it easy to represent to directors.

 ### 11. Simple, Easy-to-Navigate UI with Top-Notch Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

It’s simple to use, and the UI is very easy to navigate. The app performs okay overall, but it can freeze at times. It’s honestly fairly priced, and there are many different ways you can use the program depending on what you need. That said, integrating outside items isn’t very straightforward and can be confusing. On the positive side, the support is top-notch, and they’re very willing to assist when you need help. Also, there is no artificial intelligence with this program.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

It doesn’t have any built-in AI to help with searching, takeoffs, file snipping, and a lot of other tasks.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Takeoffs for my estimates it makes it go way faster

 ### 12. Easy, Practical, and Packed with Tools for Electrical Estimating

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

What I like most about Bluebeam is that it is very easy to use and practical. It has a wide range of tools that make it a very useful software for my work as an electrical estimator.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

What I don’t like about Bluebeam is that sometimes the documents turn blank while my markups remain on the page. I don’t lose the work, but it’s frustrating to have to transfer everything again. Also, the program occasionally crashes, and lately I’ve been losing all my default tools and have to recreate them from scratch

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Perform takeoffs quickly and efficiently

 ### 13. Versatile Tools and Collaboration, But Frequent Crashes and Slow Loading

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

It has a lot of tools at your disposal to use. It also is versatile and good at converting documents to different formats. The real time collaboration is also very useful.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

It crashes constantly, it is so slow to load, it constantly glitches out and seems to have issues.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a solid PDF editor. It is the best one for the construction industry despite its constant technical issues. It also is a great collaboration tool for PDFs

 ### 14. Powerful and Easy to Use, with Minor Zoom Navigation Issues

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Logan K. | VDC Technician , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Bluebeam offers a range of benefits, but my personal favorite is the erase content tool. This feature is especially useful when I need to create new plans based on existing ones. After becoming familiar with Bluebeam, I found it very straightforward to use, and it’s also easy to teach others for company-wide implementation. Another feature I rely on daily is Bluebeam Studio, which allows multiple people to work on the same file simultaneously with real-time updates.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

The thing that I like the least about Bluebeam is that when you are zoomed in all of the way and move your cursor to the side of the screen you move all over the place.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam is helping to bridge the gap between office personnel and field personnel.

 ### 18. Bluebeam

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

I like Bluebeam because it makes my workflow more efficient and flexible. I use it mainly for adding annotations to blueprints, which saves me from having to go back into Revit to make changes. The Revit add-on is especially useful for organizing print sets and automating repetitive steps, which helps cut down on time. Since I often need to markup prints for precast, structural details, and architectural wall openings for ductwork, Bluebeam makes those tasks quick and straightforward. I also find the recent tools tab extremely helpful; it speeds up repetitive markups and keeps my process consistent.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

What I like least about Bluebeam is the switch from a one-time purchase model to subscription licensing. From my perspective, I haven’t seen significant added value moving from Bluebeam 20 (lifetime license) to Bluebeam 21 (subscription). While some users may find the new tools in 21 helpful, the features introduced so far haven’t justified the ongoing cost for the way I use the software. If future updates included more impactful tools or improvements, the subscription model would feel easier to justify.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I first started using Bluebeam for its print and PDF creation capabilities with Revit, but I quickly discovered it was useful for much more. It allows me to easily add annotations that may have been missed on blueprints and helps me organize and manage print set order efficiently. These features have significantly streamlined my workflow and saved me time on tasks that would otherwise take much longer.

 ### 19. All-in-One Solution for Takeoffs and Document Editing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

I appreciate how Bluebeam allows me to perform takeoffs and edit documents all within the same program. Having these features combined in one software makes things much more convenient, as I no longer have to constantly switch between different tools.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

I find the learning curve for some features to be quite steep. While this is common with many software programs, Bluebeam in particular feels like it requires a lot of learning for someone who is just starting out.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam serves as a comprehensive tool for both editing and takeoff needs. Once you get accustomed to the software, you'll discover that it offers nearly endless possibilities.

 ### 22. Useful software that never works

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

The software itself does a good job. It's much easier than using something like Illustrator for markups. Bluebeam is built for it.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Ever since I started managing our company Bluebeam account, I've realized how much of an absolute joke this company is. Their subscription, seat assignment setup is difficult to understand. 3 times now Ive had to contact support because subscriptions stop working. All I get for a response from customer support is "oh its all set now!"

This is a giant waste of time and I'm actively looking for another software.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeams helps my team create detailed markups for our projects, as long as the subscription decides to work that day. It usually doesn't.

 ### 23. Terrific Takeoff Power

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John B. | Territory Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

BlueBeam is by far, the easiest takeoff tool on the market today. Before choosing BlueBeam, I reviewed just about every takeoff tool available and did extensive evaluations of each. BlueBeam not only provides excellent document/drawing management and tools, it all comes at an incredibly low price, when compared to the competition. I don't think the BlueBeam is missing anything!

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

There really isn't anything that I don't like... I think that the data export (for those of us who still use Excel for data manipulation) could be a bit better, but other than that, it's awesome!

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual takeoffs are not only inaccurate, they take an enormous amount of time. BlueBeam solves both of these problems - effectively.

 ### 24. Fast Access Tool Setup Makes Work Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

I can set up tools for fast access & reuse.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

I haven't learned enough. But I love tutorials and webinars.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I predominantly draw Site Plans and specific locations for permits. I use the same tools often and they are easily accessible. Once I draw a unit or ducting, I can reuse the same drawing and place it elsewhere.

It will crash and not work at times which is frustrating. Always getting Adobe Acobat pop ups to use that as a default.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us in all aspects of construction, from drawings to submittals to financials and everything inbetween.

 ### 34. Bluebeam Revu is a excellent tool for handling construction documents.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Troy M. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Revu is realitively easy to use. It takesx some learning, but I have found I can teach a first time user to be effective in one day.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

It is sometimes dificult to set special traits to actions, like the showing of the beginming or the end of a document title.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is easing the process for drawing markup.

 ### 35. The worst customer service experience ever.

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter S. | Multitool - I run the IT Department and recommend technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Revu as a stand out product that brought about a wealth of change to the abilities we could provide the project managers and estimators. I find all the positive feedback regarding the software's performance and features to be true.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Their customer service is nonexistant. With the introduction of Revu 21, you now use an admin portal to assign licenses. If everything works, great. If everything doesn't work, support is via email only. After creating a ticket, you will be lucky to get a response from them once a day and the emails you get are questions that have already been aswered etc. There is no company structure or alternative contact information on their website. There is absolutely no phone communication. You cannot call anyone. There is no one at Bluebeam that is accountable. You can only submit a ticket and wait for someone to contact you and there is no sense of urgency from the person who emails you while you lose productivity and money. Our people have a history with Revu and like it, but we need to partner with someone who cares about our business. I have never experienced such poor customer service from a software company.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project managers and other staff use it for estimating and converting drawings to PDFs.

 ### 36. PDF Viewer for AEC Pros

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Makes drawing review and document management a much not intuitive process.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Can be a bit slow and cumbersome for certain tasks such as advanced markups. Selection tools leave a bit to be desired for users with experience in Adobe Creative Suite

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reviewing electronic drawings in an architecture and engineering consultancy environment.

 ### 37. Everything You Need

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** RONDA R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

In Bluebeam Revu, I can view .pdf documents, but the best part is I can cover and change what I need to modify with ease.

The "Flatten/Unflatten" function is most helpful when submitting documents for approval: unflattened to work on and modify, flatten to remove the changes history, unflatten again to modify after reviewer comments are made, etc.

In our office, Revu is used by both engineer designers and admins.
Engineers can use the many tools to create drawings, choose colors to differentiate their details from others, and share these easily with team members by simply creating a "Session" and inviting others to "Join."

Admins are able to manipulate the completed documents, add stamps like "Reviewed" or "Final Design, Not For Construction" or even "Released For Construction." EORs can even LOCK the documents after applying their seal and signature, a wonderful safety feature!

Session creators, "Host," can invite collaborators to the session and control what they are allowed to do: make comments, change document, add/save/print/remove documents from the session, full control to invite others, etc. This is very convenient when a multi-disciplinary review is required and authentic collaboration needed.

Review comments can be saved in multiple formats, for records and reference outside the Bluebeam Revu session.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

When setting up a new session, I can choose an Expiration Date.
I like that this date can be a few years out, since our project is only half completed after 4 years.
What I don't like is that, 3-6 months after setting up a session, regardless of the expiration date, Bluebeam Revu sends me a notification that the session will become inactive if no one has used it after the initial period.

The notification is fine, even helpful.
What I don't appreciate is the inactive session is then closed--no matter what the expiration date was set for!

This is frustrating when the originator of the session has moved on to another project or left the company or no longer has the same responsibilities and Bluebeam Revu access and is, therefore, unable to "keep the session active" by responding to the notification. We have lost access to our project's earliest sessions this way.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam Revu allows our engineers access to material submittal and sub-contractor plans for review and comment/approval. It is easy to apply a review stamp to the document using the Stamp Tool, and simple to save the reviewed documents on our project database.

During creation of a plan sheet, multiple engineer/designers can access the sheets in the same session: roadway engineers can use the same sheet in the session which drainage designers have already created, then structural engineers can use the same session to add their details. This is convenient and helpful.

We use Bluebeam Revu as the main way we communicate throughout the design process. It is simple to load documents ready for peer review and invite applicable engineers to the session, even revoking their permission to leave comments after the "due date." This has facilitated our design approval process and allowed us to go from idea to design to review quickly. One of the best features is our ability to see who has entered the session, whether they've left comments or not.

 ### 38. Versatile Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ariadna B. | Project Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Bluebeam has functionality to suit everyone's needs and is a great software for everyday use, you can edit and develop new documents, very easy to make markups on the documents, and can also apply signatures. The collaborative editing function (studio) is great for team document reviews and editing. Every user can customize the layout to suit their preferences.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

I don't see any downsides, the software is easy to use, especially with all the available help resources.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can save plenty time by using Bluebeam when I need to complete a quick takeoff, the document edits look great and presentable.

 ### 39. BlueBeam is Adobe on Steroids

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason U. | Mgr, Process Design, Construction, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Hosting review sessions, unlike other platforms Bluebeam allows multi reviewers into a single session to mark-up & comment

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

If there was a way better wat to link the session log to the reviewed item to ease who made which comment or mark-up.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing multi reviewers in a single review session. This expedites the review time because reviewers do not have to wait on others to complete their review

 ### 40. Very good software for drawings markups

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Great software for marking up the drawings. Very user friendly user interface. Like the option to add more tools

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

It would be very helpful to scroll the pages instead of picking it from the window. It is sometime annoying

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Modifying and creating construction drawings

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

It is easy to use, and I like how many features there are. I haven't had to deal with customer support yet but I would think they are great!

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

I have had issues trying to figure out all of the controls and how to implement how I need lines drawn for electrical prints.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I so far have not needed help or have had to reach out and get assistance in solving problems in Revu.

 ### 44. Bluebeam for Construction Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

I really enjoy the customizable tools that can be utlized while reviewing and editing documents. I also enjoy the amount of different documents that can be utilized with Bluebeam, as well as the ability to model and flatten documents for security.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

I really hate that the tools that I save sometimes dissapear without saving or backing up automatically. This is truly frustrating when I have to find and reload my signature.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam really allows us to communicate with the trade partners with critical information for their work, and identify problemsthat everyone is seeing.

 ### 45. Bluebeam Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Armand R. | Architect, Architecture & Planning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

It help for me to comments and review the drawings. The upside of Bluebeam is the easy to use and review the drawings.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

The least helpful of Bluebeam is the editing the drawings is not that easy. The downside is need to add more features to edit the drawings.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem that Bluebeam solve is the easy to communicate on the team members when you discussing the project.

 ### 46. Best PDF Viewer out there!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dustin C. | Takeoff Engineer , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

in one word - Versatility. Bluebeam allows you to do so much more when compared to other programs such as Foxit or Adobe. To be honest, it does take a bit of getting used to but once you have a grasp on how it works, it is absolutely amazing. Additionally, I love the studio collaboration aspect. It blew my mind the first time I used it.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

It is really hard to find something to dislike about it. If I had to name one thing, it is that it sometimes takes way too long to flatten and in turn, print pages. Other than that I have zero complaints.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluebeam:**

Definitely go for it. You will most certainly not be disappointed

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed. Adobe and other PDF viewers are slow and outdated. the construction world is constantly changing and evolving and we need to keep pace. Bluebeam allows us to get info and process data swiftly and in turn, pass along the info to our field in such an efficient manner.

 ### 47. Count Feature Inaccurate

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Good for creating layout drawings on construction set.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Count feature is inaccurate and unreliable

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing field installation drawings

 ### 48. Mostly Great

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie F. | Marketing Coordinator, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

I can calculate square footage right in the PDF so easily! I'm not an engineer/designer, so I don't have CAD or Revit to find that information out, and it's really helpful in my role. I also appreciate that I can easily add a PNG file of someone's signature directly into a form, where I want it and what size. With Acrobat, I used to have to add it as a watermark, change the X and Y coordinates on the page to get it where I wanted, etc.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

For some reason, I can't easily grab the top toolbar to move the window around on my monitor. I often find it frustrating how the side toolbars will open and stay open, using up precious screen space, until I close them. I have some minor trouble with the scrolling versus grab-hand as well....but they're all pretty minor.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easier for a non-engineer like me to read drawings and calculate certain information (usually size/square footage) on it. It's also easy to fill out forms.

 ### 49. Powerful Tool for the Construction Industry

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim V. | Construction Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

I use it almost everyday. For construction, Bluebeam can embed a diagram or photo into an RFI, it can help do take-offs for estimating, and developers / GC's can use their website (Studio) to host multiple users to review and mark up plans. There are too many features to write about in this review.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

In the past modifications made in Bluebeam were not always visible by clients using acrobat, but not sure if this is still the case.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can share information quicker while being more concise. Communicate issues quickly and get faster responses. When difficult to describe something, picture can be worth a thousand words!

 ### 50. User since 2014

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristina B. | Quantity Surveyor/Detailer/Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

A very powerful measuring tool. It saves more time and gives you a more accurate quantity!

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

It requires a large space in my computer.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam Revu significantly enhances the efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration capabilities of estimators. This not only streamlines the estimating process but also improves overall project management and outcomes. The integration of digital tools within Bluebeam Revu reduces manual workloads and errors, ultimately leading to cost savings and more precise project estimations.
