"Bluebeam Streamlines Construction Plan Reviews with Accurate Markups and Real-Time Collaboration"
What do you like best about Bluebeam?

What I like most about Bluebeam is how much more efficient it makes construction document review and collaboration. The markup, measurement, and takeoff tools are very accurate and straightforward to use, and features like Studio Sessions let multiple team members review plans together in real time. It also keeps drawings well organized, makes it easy to track revisions clearly, and saves a huge amount of time during project coordination. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluebeam?

The main downside is that Bluebeam can come with a bit of a learning curve for new users, especially when it comes to the more advanced tools and settings. It can also feel expensive compared to basic PDF software, but for construction management and other professional use, the added functionality and the time savings make it worth it. "Scale Feature Makes Take-Offs and Tendering Fast and Accurate"
What do you like best about Bluebeam?

Doing take-offs with using the scale feature as a pre-construction manager/planner it really helps me tendering the projects and get the quantities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluebeam?

The software uses so much RAM and you do need a strong laptop. It crashes multiple times - especially if you are working for files over 30mb. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Practical, and Packed with Tools for Electrical Estimating"
What do you like best about Bluebeam?

What I like most about Bluebeam is that it is very easy to use and practical. It has a wide range of tools that make it a very useful software for my work as an electrical estimator. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluebeam?

What I don’t like about Bluebeam is that sometimes the documents turn blank while my markups remain on the page. I don’t lose the work, but it’s frustrating to have to transfer everything again. Also, the program occasionally crashes, and lately I’ve been losing all my default tools and have to recreate them from scratch Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful and Easy to Use, with Minor Zoom Navigation Issues"
What do you like best about Bluebeam?

Bluebeam offers a range of benefits, but my personal favorite is the erase content tool. This feature is especially useful when I need to create new plans based on existing ones. After becoming familiar with Bluebeam, I found it very straightforward to use, and it’s also easy to teach others for company-wide implementation. Another feature I rely on daily is Bluebeam Studio, which allows multiple people to work on the same file simultaneously with real-time updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluebeam?

The thing that I like the least about Bluebeam is that when you are zoomed in all of the way and move your cursor to the side of the screen you move all over the place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Bluebeam"
What do you like best about Bluebeam?

I like Bluebeam because it makes my workflow more efficient and flexible. I use it mainly for adding annotations to blueprints, which saves me from having to go back into Revit to make changes. The Revit add-on is especially useful for organizing print sets and automating repetitive steps, which helps cut down on time. Since I often need to markup prints for precast, structural details, and architectural wall openings for ductwork, Bluebeam makes those tasks quick and straightforward. I also find the recent tools tab extremely helpful; it speeds up repetitive markups and keeps my process consistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluebeam?

What I like least about Bluebeam is the switch from a one-time purchase model to subscription licensing. From my perspective, I haven’t seen significant added value moving from Bluebeam 20 (lifetime license) to Bluebeam 21 (subscription). While some users may find the new tools in 21 helpful, the features introduced so far haven’t justified the ongoing cost for the way I use the software. If future updates included more impactful tools or improvements, the subscription model would feel easier to justify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Solution for Takeoffs and Document Editing"
What do you like best about Bluebeam?

I appreciate how Bluebeam allows me to perform takeoffs and edit documents all within the same program. Having these features combined in one software makes things much more convenient, as I no longer have to constantly switch between different tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluebeam?

I find the learning curve for some features to be quite steep. While this is common with many software programs, Bluebeam in particular feels like it requires a lot of learning for someone who is just starting out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Lots of uses and easy to use for PDF docs and drawings etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluebeam?

I wish it were easier to find classes or trainings on how to use all the features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
