What do you dislike about Remote People?

Some features aren't helpful such as time tracking which is cumbersome and doesn't integrate well with our team. The payment methods are manual or costly with high fees when using a credit card. There is limited automation for leave approvals, and unnecessary features are exposed to employees, needing extra support for basic processing. The onboarding process had some hiccups, and over time more limitations were discovered. We don't feel confident relying on it or integrating it with other services. What do you like best about Remote People?

I really like Horizons for their incredible customer service and flexibility. The team is extremely personable, and for the first time, I've genuinely wanted to become personal friends with the sales team because they are not pushy, they're incredibly collaborative, and eager to solve any problems I might have. Particularly, Harry stands out for understanding our business inside and out, knowing our team by name, and being aware of our challenges, key dates, and milestones. It's amazing how he actively engages with us, and even though we are probably quite a small client for them, they have built a really good relationship with us. Their flexibility is impressive because unlike other EOR providers, which are quite rigid, the Horizons team is extremely flexible within the law. Onboarding was easy and thorough. My HR needs are handled promptly, and I can also take care of certain tasks myself through the portal’s self-guided menus. With the recent changes to employment contracts, documents are sent digitally for signatures and approvals in a seamless way. Horizons is how smooth and dependable their Employer of Record process is across multiple countries. The onboarding was clear, compliant, and much faster than setting up local entities ourselves.

A big part of this positive experience was the support we received from Bala. He was extremely responsive, patient, and proactive in walking us through every step, from compliance questions to payroll timelines. There is very little to dislike overall. As with most global EOR providers, FX rates can sometimes differ slightly from publicly visible mid-market rates, but Horizons has been transparent about how these rates are applied and what they cover in terms of banking, compliance, and operational risk. What do you like best about Remote People?

Easy-to-use platform and excellent customer service. Whenever I have a question or need a resource for myself or even for an employee, they are quick to respond. I like that I can submit my questions through their portal or reach out to them directly by email. The majority of the time, I receive an answer within the same day. If it is a more complex question, they reach out to me, letting me know they are looking into it and will get back to me as soon as possible. They are always quick to respond and so friendly. I use their portal at least once a month, if not more often. They also have great resources to find many of the answers you need without having to reach out to a representative.
