This seems to be the case with all Kaseya owned software. The integrations with other Kaseya applications work, but could be better. It has a global search, which is one of my favorite features. You can also create documents right in it, and it has pretty decent options for formatting. We use DattoRMM so having that tied into IT Glue streamlines things. Adding new entries, auditing access, and keeping things up to date is pretty easily done. This is something we use all of the time, and though it does cost a bit, we're planning on continuing to use it for the foreseeable future. **What do you dislike about IT Glue?** The mobile application is lacking. For some reason, we have to reset our passwords from time to time, even though we're confident the passwords are working. Working on a Support team, the password & text injection features that integrate with Datto are a timesaver on the small things, giving me more time to focus on the bigger things. It was easy to get setup with our account manager - who also was great at helping us with any questions we had, and now this is a tool that we use every day and has become part of our day-to-day processes. **What do you dislike about IT Glue?** In order to use the password & text injection / autofill features with Datto you have to be using the "Web Remote" option. If you choose to use the "Agent Browser" you will not have this feature available to you, which I think is one of the selling-point features. **What problems is IT Glue solving and how is that benefiting you?** IT Glue is centralizing our customer documentation and password information, keeping it safe & encrypted, and easily accessible to our technicians which has allowed us to be more productive in the long run since we are no longer having to open up different documents or systems to access the different data. ### 24. It only looks for keywords in the title of the document. It needs the ability to TAG documents together by keywords/groups. The mobile app is a OK but misses the option of allowing you to view documents in the app. The only way to view documents on mobile is to use a web browser which is not feasible for the eyes. If the mobile app had the ability to create documents, then our techs could create documents on the go. Global assets are only visible for admin roles. Think of it as our central hub of passwords, of acceptance of our procedures, and also of our assets. Another is that, for instance, the password manager feature alone saves me certainly at least an hour a week because we aren’t looking for passwords anymore. That, and it has robust reporting feature that helps to stay on top of team activities to guarantee that everyone is doing their part. **What do you dislike about IT Glue?** Overall, IT Glue does what it is supposed to, so to speak, but there are a couple of things it could add that it does not. The initial incarnation of the mobile app is a bit slow, not specifically when searching for particular documents, but it can be at times. I also would also like to have some automatic update to some of the information, such as asset details. **What problems is IT Glue solving and how is that benefiting you?** IT Glue has reduced considerably the time we spend managing and organizing our documentation. We spent hours every week just trying to remember and organize passwords in order to keep track of them. With IT Glue, we now centralize all of it and are spending at least three hours a week less. On top of that, the further security features provide us with comfort, so we know that our valuable data is safely archived and efficiently. ### 43. Obviously it's a typing standard but some sites have issues fully supporting it, whereas ITG is flawless. The idea behind connected documents is fantastic and means engineers when reading information have a logical journey to get what they're looking for, and I think it's integration to Autotask is fabulous. I don't think there are many competitors that have everything ITG does to be honest **What do you dislike about IT Glue?** The searching feature is not logical, sometimes you'll look for an organisation beginning with a letter or combination of letters, and it won't bring the correct search result up. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review. **What do you like best about IT Glue?** IT Glue has a fantastic capability of linking all info, to get the best experience in finding what I need to know. I can start searching from a location, from a configuration info and I can get all whats related. For me and my colleagues it's the starting page at the beginning of every day. It took a very few to understand all its capabilities and I immediately discovered how easy it is to feed with all customers information. **What do you dislike about IT Glue?** I guess it would be great that some feature requested would be considered to be implemented even if a small number of people votes for it in "Feature requests". **What problems is IT Glue solving and how is that benefiting you?** We started using IT Glue for customer administrative passwords but in a while we moved to collect all info about configurations, LANs, VPNs, IPSec preshared keys and any other info can help in our MSP business. ### 49. I.e. firewall assert would let you select an asset from an entirely different customer than the one you’re editing **What problems is IT Glue solving and how is that benefiting you?** Documentaion ### 50. It's always been great at pulling information in from our various tools to help keep documentation up to date. The new automations like the SOP generator and Insights are game changers and are making the tool that much more valuable to us. **What do you dislike about IT Glue?** Search needs improvement. Speed, accuracy have been an issue. It takes a little practice to be able to effectively get results.
