## N-able N-central Reviews
 ### 1. Very powerful, flexible platform with strong integrations and automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick K. | Leitender IT-Techniker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

We use N-central both as a Managed Service Provider and in the enterprise environment as a reseller and consultant, and we are very satisfied overall. The platform offers a high level of functional depth and reliably covers a wide range of requirements. The UI is somewhat outdated in some areas, but it impresses with a very high density of information and functionality and is increasingly modernized through Ecoverse integrations. The integrations are extremely versatile and allow for flexible adaptation to almost any environment. The performance is also strong, both in terms of stability and the scope of automation and management functions. The pricing is flexible for MSP and traditional models, providing a good ROI. We mostly deliver support and onboarding ourselves, but we can always rely on fast and competent manufacturer support. In the area of AI, initial approaches are visible, especially through intelligent automations in operation. Overall, a very powerful and flexible platform.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The flexibility and the diverse possibilities are the biggest advantages of the product. However, the somewhat rigid-looking design and the templates, which often refer to older software, should be updated.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The central aspect of N-central is automation. By automating standard tasks and automatically resolving errors before tickets are generated.

 ### 2. Reliable Central Hub for Seamless Remote Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris M. | Vice President of Security & Growth, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

I really appreciate how the patching and updating features work extremely well in N-able N-central, especially for Microsoft patch Tuesday. The remote control of machines is another aspect I like, as it enables us to maintain good inventories of customer machines and allows us to add and remove applications as needed. N-able N-central acts as a central brain for our MSP business, helping control all of our clients' remote computers effectively. Additionally, we utilize the DNS filtering product, which I like because it allows us to perform DNS filtering on remote laptops even when they're not in the office behind firewalls on protected networks.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Sometimes the N-central update process for your software is a pain.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use N-able N-central for patching, updating, and remote control of machines. It helps maintain a good inventory of customer machines and control applications. It acts as a central brain for managing clients' remote computers effectively.

 ### 3. Powerful Yet Easy: Smooth Remote Access and Fleet Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher R. | Information Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

It has just enough complexity to be powerful, but it’s still easy to use. We’re able to automate and monitor our PC fleet and servers without a lot of hassle. Remote access is especially straightforward and intuitive, and once you’re connected to a machine there are plenty of useful features available. I also love how much we can handle on the back end without disturbing the user. Overall, it runs great and feels fairly priced for what it offers.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

I have nothing to complain about with N-Central.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides remote access, monitoring, and automation, along with centralized update storage and asset tracking.

 ### 4. Highly Recommended RMM Platform with Strong Automation and Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rex E. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

What we like best about N-central is how it helps us scale service delivery through strong visibility, proactive monitoring, and automation. It allows our team to manage client environments more efficiently, standardize key processes, and stay ahead of issues instead of simply reacting to them

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The main downside is the learning curve. It is a robust platform, so it can take time to fully leverage all of its features and automation capabilities. Even so, the value it provides far outweighs that drawback.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N-central helps us solve the challenge of managing and monitoring many devices and client environments efficiently from a central platform. It gives us better visibility, supports proactive maintenance, and allows us to automate routine tasks that would otherwise require significant manual effort. The benefit is improved efficiency for our team, more consistent service delivery, and a better ability to identify and address issues before they impact the client.

 ### 5. Reliable RMM with Simple Dashboards, Advanced Features, and Powerful Automation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David C. | Director of IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

N-Central is a reliable RMM tool that allows our small IT department to manage severl hundred endpoints timely and efficiently. It offers simple dashboards and advanced features. There are many automations which make the repetitive tasks of patching and updates easier.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The learning curve can be steep at times for the more advanced features, but N-Central support is always there to help configure those features. Their support team is always available to help you get the most out of the product.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows our small IT department to handle many endpoints with ease.

 ### 6. Reliable RMM with Strong Automation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lamia M. | Cyber Security Assistant, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

N-central is a powerful remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform that stands out for its robust automation capabilities and deep device visibility. It’s especially well-suited for MSPs managing complex environments, offering strong patch management, alerting, and scripting features.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

It takes time to learn, particularly for new users. Initial setup and policy configuration may require a bit of effort, but once dialed in, it becomes a highly efficient tool.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 7. Powerful product with excellent support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

After several months with N-Central, I can confidently say it's one of the more powerful yet approachable platforms I've worked with.
What stands out most is the flexibility of the custom dashboards. You're not limited to N-Central's out-of-the-box monitoring - if it can be queried via WMI, PowerShell, file content, or similar methods, you can surface it directly in the platform and classify it as Normal, Warning, or Failed. For us, that means consolidating app security, AV status, BitLocker, browser security, local admin health, Windows Firewall, and Windows OS security into a single dashboard - a genuine time-saver for day-to-day visibility.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Patching could definitely be improved. Also, when I deploy changes (e.g. service templates) to a large number of clients, it sometimes times out, even though it still ends up applying the changes anyway.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work with a large number of different vendors, and this gave us a single pane of glass to view the status of each product in one place.

 ### 8. Powerful Rules & Filters Automation with Strong Analytics, Alerts, and Scripting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jurica P. | Graphics Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

N-central uses "Rules and Filters" engine that allows you to group devices by complex criteria and apply granular automation policies across thousands of endpoints at once. It offers on-premises deployment too. Analytics and alerts, along with good scripting control makes it a great tool.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The support sometimes takes time to escalate for urgent problems, dashboard is dated although they are improving, built-in reporting engine needs refinement and N-able locks vital advanced features behind separate paid modules like BitLocker and EDR.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped with automation, patch management and tedious tasks on endpoints. Also integration with EDR and Cove Data protection allowed our clients (MSP) to offer complete security and backup packages.

 ### 9. Easy to Use and Strong Centralised Control

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** KAWSER A. | IT Security Support Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

I like N-able N-central because it is easy to use and gives good control over devices, monitoring, patching, and remote management from one central platform.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

I dislike that N-able N-central can take time to set up and understand. Some settings and features are not very straightforward, so it can feel complicated at first.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N-able N-central helps us monitor devices, manage patches, provide remote support, and identify issues before they become bigger problems. It saves time, improves control, and helps us support users more efficiently.

 ### 10. N-Central is a powerful platform for managing our customers devices

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

N‑central addresses the challenge of scaling IT operations while keeping them consistent. It offers a centralised platform for monitoring, management, and automation across devices, with a strong level of flexibility. Its scripting and automation capabilities support bespoke checks, self‑healing actions, and tailored workflows, which reduces manual effort and helps teams stay proactive instead of constantly reacting to issues.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

N-central is starting to show its age in a few areas, especially in the user interface and overall level of polish. Although it’s clear there’s ongoing investment in new features, many of those additions feel incomplete or immature when they first arrive, and they often need more refinement before they’re truly production-ready.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N-central helps us manage IT environments at scale by serving as our core RMM platform. It centralises monitoring, alerting, automation, scripting, and remote management across our devices, which lets us standardise support, cut down on manual effort, and work more proactively.

 ### 11. User-Friendly, Well-Organized, and Integrates Seamlessly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad K. | Director of IT, Restaurants, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

Fairly user-friendly. It's simple to navigate and get to what is needed. Good organizational methods for easy access. Integrates well with other systems. We use it almost hourly.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Take Control doesn't always work. After install, some machines appear to be disconnected but they are connected to the internet. Not sure why it keeps losing it's brain but we have implemented a different remote control tool due to this.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to manage assets that are scattered all over the country. Easy to know what each machine is and what's going on with it.

 ### 12. All-in-One Monitoring Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Imran I. | Technical Support Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2025

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

What I like most about N-able N-central is the clear, all-in-one view of devices and networks. The automation saves my time, and the alerts help me fix issues before they get worse. It makes managing IT much easier and more proactive.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

What I don’t like about N-able N-central is that the interface can feel cluttered, making it hard to find things sometimes. It also slows down with lots of devices. It’s a good tool, but could be easier to use and faster.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N-able N-central lets me keep an eye on all our devices and networks in one spot. It takes care of routine tasks automatically and gives me early alerts about any issues, so I can fix things before they affect users. This saves me time and helps everything run smoothly.

 ### 13. One of the best RMMs out there

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Srinivas W. | Senior Business Development Manager

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

N-central feels quite granular compared to some of the other RMMs out there, and I really like the level of detail it offers on the dashboard. It’s as visual as it gets and handles large, chunky tasks with ease. The integrations are also super helpful for us, since they let us streamline a lot of our work and keep day-to-day tasks moving smoothly.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

It’s not a major concern, but the dashboard can sometimes be a bit tricky to navigate.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asset management and monitoring

 ### 14. Efficient Remote Management with Minor Hiccups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas K.

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

I really value the remote management capabilities of N-able N-central, specifically its 'Take Control' feature. This feature enables me and multiple colleagues to troubleshoot and run scripts remotely, all without interfering with the user's experience. It's particularly beneficial for us as an MSP, providing essential Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) capabilities crucial for our engineers and support staff. The flexibility of having more than one person assist in troubleshooting under 'Take Control' mode boosts our team's efficiency, enhancing our overall support and management processes.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

I find that the remote CLI in N-able N-central truncates commands and has a very short disconnect timer. This issue forces me to run PowerShell scripts as jobs to ensure they complete successfully. Moreover, the truncating problem hampers my ability to capture console output for troubleshooting, which is a significant drawback.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use N-able N-central for remote management, allowing me to troubleshoot and run scripts without interfering with the user, which is crucial for our engineering team.

 ### 15. Improved Endpoint and Network Oversight at Scale

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2023

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

One thing I really like about N-able N-central is its deep visibility into endpoint health combined with proactive alerting. The customizable monitoring thresholds and detailed dashboards make it easier to detect issues early and reduce reactive firefighting. Additionally, its strong integration with patch management and security tools helps streamline day-to-day operations while maintaining consistency across environments.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

One area where N-able N-central could improve is the overall user experience, particularly around navigation and workflow efficiency. Simplifying certain configuration processes and providing more guided, in-context recommendations would help reduce time spent on routine tasks. Enhancing reporting customization and making performance insights more actionable would also add value for day-to-day operations.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N-able N-central addresses various IT management challenges, such as remote monitoring, automation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure. By providing centralized control, it helps organizations:

 ### 18. Scalable, Automated, and Comprehensive—N-Central Exceeds Expectations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda S. | Client Success and Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2025

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

The greatest advantages we've experienced with N-able's N-Central solution are its automated patch management, comprehensive monitoring and alerting features, integrated EDR and backup tools, remote control support, and, most importantly, the overall scalability of the system.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The reporting features are decent, but they have the potential to be much more comprehensive and robust. Enhancing these capabilities could significantly improve customer account management, especially when it comes to executive business reviews.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N-Central is an excellent solution that supports MSPs in managing even the most complex environments. It offers proactive monitoring, automated patching, and scalable automation, all of which help to streamline workflows and processes.

 ### 19. The best RMM platform on the market!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ronan E. | IT Support Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

The user interface is very easy to use, featuring colourful indicators—green for good and red for bad—that let you quickly see how your devices and network are performing. Their customer support system is also excellent; if you encounter any issues, you can log a Support Case, and the process is straightforward.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The N-Central UI has a lot happening within it, so it can take some time to become familiar with all the available options and to learn how to navigate the platform effectively.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has been instrumental in maintaining our Retainer Clients' networks in excellent condition. It has also significantly enhanced the way we manage and deploy updates to our managed endpoints, making the entire process more efficient.

 ### 20. N-Central's Outstanding Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** bivesh R. | Power Bi Engineer L1, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

The Vulnerabilities view is amazing as it helps us as an MSP show risks to our customers as well as uncover new opportunities. It allows us to show the customer their issues in their environment and how to better secure it. This also allows us to show our value to our customers as we can provide much more insight into their environment and how we can be more proactive. We have also have moved to MSP SSO , this has reduced the number of password reset as well made it a much better user experience. The assets view has better data that is concentrated as it has the MAC address field etc, customers enjoy this report much more also the data is much better since it using SnowFlake. We have integrated N-Central REWST and I must say the integration between each other works perfect no issues and we are accomplishing so much through automation it frees up so much for our engineers. Product support is big deal for an MSP and for my experience with N-able support is the best no other product support can touch them as they are super knowledgeable and the responses are quick and on point. They are happy to jump on a call to further investigate if needed. We had upgraded our N-Central and we had a dedicated support engineer from N-able until the end of the upgrade.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Your user account needs to be MSP SSO to get the vulnerabilities and asset views which we would like to provide to customers however we want to create the customer and N-able account as they will see our organization case with support etc. We are awaiting for custom properties data to be moved to snowflake as I believe then we can use Snowflake as a single source of data which would reduce some work load on our. I would like a more in-depth Netpath as to possibly see if it is an issue on the ISP side or and environmental issue .

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As we are a remote-managed IT company we can securely gain access to a user's machine without interruption and if needed we can take control of their machine. I like that licensing is very scalable which I think is great for any business when it comes to expense. The best part would be automation as we can reduce manual intervention and time. This just gives the customer a better experience as there is no disruption in the customer's work environment. Analytics has solved one of our greatest issues which is reporting this helps us present and send an amazing report to our customers also with this we do use analytics quite often as it is so fast and customizable.

 ### 21. A Great Easy to Use Monitoring Platform with Knowledgable Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caleb W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

More integrated features, the inclusion of S1 and Adlumin now provides a more comprehensive solution. Better performance on the newer versions in my opinion. Entra SSO integration was clutch, users love it.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Wish I could run the baked in reports on a scheduled time of my choosing versus being forced to run it Daily at 3 AM if I want to schedule it. Patching reliably on endpoints (not servers) continues to be a pain point.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems its solving for us are fairly numerous. Patch Management is a big one as many customers wouldnt bother to patch OS/Apps if it wasnt scheduled, automated, and managed well. It also helps us solve complex monitoring problems for custom services, apps, and websites our customers use that need to have niche details about them kept track of and reported on. It also helps us keep track of OS and APP versions for upgrade purposes for both internal and customers sites.

The ability to auto remove devices that have been offline for more than x days is also something that may be beneficial
The initial setup can be a bit complex, but the team is readily available to assist with any queries and connect to your instance to work through the issues with you

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

It takes some time getting used to navigate and not very simple.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It benefits me by being able to detect issues early through automated alerts, deploying updates across multiple devices, and troubleshooting issues remotely which makes issues easier and more convenient to resolve.

What I appreciate most about N-central is the depth of monitoring it offers and the extensive way it allows you to manage patches.\

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

I find the graphical interface a bit outdated. They could try to make it more modern.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N-central helps my MSP partners proactively and effectively manage their end clients.

It’s great for the central management and ability to get a ton of data in one place.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

I would like an easier process for configuring automations

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to run automation based on alert status to address devices before having to personally review.

 ### 29. N-able is one of the best RMM's I have used to date

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wincent O. | Senior Service Desk Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

I like that everyday I am still learning something new, and that is a good thing.

It is an easy platform to learn for the basics, it does get a lot more complicated due to all the featured that is available, but overall, implementation is easy, especially to get a device on N-Central.

This is a tool that I use on a daily bases, and I feel that it integrates really well with existing tools

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Had some issues with the patch management side of things, but after logging my grievances with support, it got sorted out and even an updated version of the tool was released

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inventory, working for an MSP we have a lot of customers that we look after and having that inventory management is second to none!

 ### 30. Easy to use product that provides the information we need.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2022

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

It is nice that their systems are all linked together via SSO now. This SSO can be setup via Microsoft Entra which makes it easy to manage and secure.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

I would love to see the billing for Professional licenses set to usage vs needing to purchase in bulk. This causes us to have a number of unused licenses that we are paying for.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility to how our clients use their machines and allowing us to get alerted.

 ### 31. Comprehensive monitoring and automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

Customizable scripting options are particularly valuable, offering great control over IT environments.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The user interface needs a modern overhaul to become more intuitive and reduce the initial training time for new technicians

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N-able N-central has significantly improved our ability to manage and monitor a large number of devices across multiple locations. The automation features reduce the need for manual intervention, allowing us to focus on more strategic tasks. This has led to greater efficiency and less downtime, ultimately improving the quality of service we provide to our clients

 ### 32. Mind blown by the capabilities of the product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aston P. | L2 Automation and Analytics Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

The amount of services and features that allow new to troubleshoot and resolve issues on a remote device, sometimes at just a click of a button

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

In all honesty the first line of support for the product at most times are really unhelpful with the standard answers. Wish there was an easier way to escalate. No offense to the support engineers. They're awesome. The "script" however..needs some work

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote control access without having to be on the same network of the device and without needing a vpn is absolutely insane.

Makes urgently remote accessing a device that much easier

Access to a device without having to be anywhere near it.

Not just that but having the tools to easily automate some grueling tasks

 ### 33. N-central is the best RMM I have administered

 ### 35. Best RMM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

For a tool to be the most robust and give you the flexibility to monitor and do every days tasks there is nothing else that compares.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The only downfall that I see is the how complex the system is and that it has a learning curve to it

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us the flexibility to allow us to monitor for certain requirements for clients needs

 ### 36. Does the basics but lacks depth

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

Ease of creating custom monitors using automation manager
Ability to integrate to intune

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Any support requests that can’t be resolved by level one take months, or even years, to get resolved, with little to no updates provided along the way.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Central location for patching, monitoring and remote access.
Visibility over vulnerabilities at application level

 ### 37. Top-Notch Performance and the Best RMM UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

Its layout, functionality and performance is top notch.

It has the best UI interface of any RMM I have used.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

When I used the built-in remote control utility, it wasn’t the best, but it did work.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not currently using N-central but I wish we were, its a great RMM.

 ### 38. Love N-Central but Reporting, Monitoring and Patching could use some work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda P. | NOC Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

It can do so much and automate so many things. Pretty easy to use once you get familiar with it

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

You can't force through a patch which has been a real pain since Windows seems to not be asking for upgrades and therefore we can't upgrade PCs. Reporting tends to not get specific enough. I wish it were more of a one screen thing to set up monitoring instead on one to make the monitor, one for rules to apply the monitor and one for notifications. it takes a loit of jumping around to make one simple thing.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring and Ticketing to CW. self heals for basic stuff

 ### 39. One stop end user shop

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles M. | IT Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

The categorization of the different types of machines on the left side, along with being able so schedule reboots/maintenance commands that will run autonomously outside of working business hours.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Sometimes the screens of the machines I am in will flicker and become unable to work in, so I need to close out of the session and reconnect but it's a minor issue.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N-Able really helps me properly troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues with ease.

 ### 40. Good produce

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

The scalability and automation it offers are the best in the market

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The console can become sluggish when managing large environments, and the agent consumes high system resources

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

eliminates the struggle of tracking diverse devices (Windows, Mac, Linux, cloud) by putting them all into one Place

 ### 41. My Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

The ease of use as well the simplicity of the platform.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

My dislikes are that the agent does not always install. As well as the force patching doesn't work on certain OS's

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me remote access to my user to better serve their issues

 ### 42. It's good

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

Everything works good, and there are no problems, the new UI is nice as well.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

No downsides, everything works flawlessly.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patching, monitoring

 ### 43. Great RMM Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

N-Able gives us the visibility we need to ensure client devices are healthy, patched, and accounted for.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Reporting for MSPs (asset inventory, for example) could be improved. We often have to ingest and massage reports to be client friendly.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch management, device inventory.

 ### 44. If you're not using N-Central you're doing IT wrong.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patryk B. | InfoSec and IT Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

The price tag for N-central is super cheap... so cheap that when I first signed up, I was sure they were quoting me monthly pricing. But not cheap like Prado knockoffs - this is a quality suite of tools for managing, monitoring, and maintaining all computing devices with minimal work on the tech side. It's a simple install and you're done. Logging into the portal for management gives you a wealth of information, and using the included TakeControl functionality makes end user troubleshooting easier than a phone call. It works across Mac and Windows, and has agents (that I haven't tested) for Ubuntu and CentOS. It's so cost-effective and easy to use/deploy that I'm never going to NOT use it in every company I work in from now on.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

N-Central's only weakness (which isn't their fault by any means) is that you need the device to have a consistent internet connection in order for things to work. This means that, if the user switches on or off of a VPN, Take Control can lag for a minute or two. Again, not N-Central's fault, but something to consider. On the flip side, though, commands can be scheduled, so you can mitigate some of the above with proper foresight.

There have been small timeframes where I had to reinstall an agent or where a script didn't run as I wanted it to, but that's super-rare compared to how often it works better than I expected.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have 3 offices and end users that travel between them, and we were using an MSP that was less than stellar. We hired an internal InfoSec and IT Operations manager, and then worked to replace/recreate the processes and systems that the MSP was using, and N-Able was one of the few systemsthat made the cut. It resolves local and remote end user support (all users have an agent on their machine so that IT can jump on as needed, saving tech bandwidth and allowing for multiple issue resolutions simultaneously), patch management, network and device monitoring, and with the integrations for EDR / MDR / backups, we also gained a number of extra security features at a significant savings.

 ### 45. The platform is consistent, however setting up automations and scheduled tasks can be a tad tedious.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

The visibility we can establish to show statuses between other agents in our tech stack.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Needing to go to multiple locations in order to establish an auttomation

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote capability, patch management, tech stack agent status

 ### 46. Unreliable Patch Management Undermines an Otherwise Solid RMM Tool

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bear R. | VP of Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

It was a good RMM product that helped us manage our clients computers.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The patch management at the time was hit or miss. We didn't feel we could trust it.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allowed us to have a good place to centrally manage all of our clients computers, and to apply AV Defender and patch management.

 ### 47. Zach’s review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

I love nable because it makes it a seamless experience to help resolve any remote issues of my end users

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Sometimes the remote agent doesn’t install correctly

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to assist remotely

 ### 48. Hosted N-Central: Best RMM We've Used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew O. | Managing Director, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2025

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

We used a range of RMM tools and N-Central is by far the best so far. Responsiveness of the UI is almost instant. The time to execute scripts is within seconds, not minutes. It is one of the more advanced pieces of software I've used and has really nailed it with its capabilities and customisations. N-Central is a rule based platform so a little more complicated but the end result is definitely worth it. Any issues have been resolved via live chat, the agents are always super helpful and friendly.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

The platform does have a steep learning curve. There are a lot of parts which need to work together and be setup to take advantage of the full power. There is limited support for Linux systems but that seems to be in development.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unified device management, automation and security. The fact that N-Central natively integrates with Cove Data Protection and SentinelOne / BitDefender is a massive benefit. Previously we used a security suite but I was uncomfortable having our RMM, backup and endpoint protection all managed by the same company. But N-Central has helped resolve that and in the process upgraded our security offerings. The Automation Manager always makes it extremely easy to create and deploy scripts!

 ### 49. N Central is a solid platform, it has some quirks like all, but is a pleasure to use overall.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about N-able N-central?**

I enjoy using N-able N-Central day to day. I enjoy the automation, monitoring alerts and scripting. The ability to make the product yours is key and it feels like our team has created the platform ourselves. The granular control that we have is key to our success making sure the right people are in the right seats with the correct access. Setting this up was a breeze and I certainly will and do recommend it. The customer support has been strong when needed.

**What do you dislike about N-able N-central?**

Sometimes some of the automation can be complex and hard to learn. The UI is slightly dated, feeling like it could be more modern and newer. With ours, we have a lot of information. I feel as if it could be easier to use and set up. However, customer support has been helpful.

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to remote into the users environment and manage patching and other critical security in the same place has made our processes much easier. Day to day it saves us time. Time is key for us.

Lack of custom reporting or dashboard builds

**What problems is N-able N-central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote access and visibility into the end point for lifecycle management
