"They will hold you hostage"
What do you like best about Passly?

Absolutely nothing was good about this system. See the information below. It's sad that I have to keep typing here since there is nothing redeemable about this system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Passly?

We moved to Passly from 1Password. It was already difficult enough to format the Excel file well enough to import but then I found that you had to manually move them into folders. So 900 passwords to organize manually. Then I realized, after transferring about 10 vaults, that it was not nearly formatted well enough. Somethings work and others didn't. The user field cannot accept '\' so domain usernames do not work at all.

No mobile app. No way to enter secure notes...

....

The problems just continue to go on until you decide to switch to something better. When you do, that's when you realize that you can't export anything from Passly. As a full admin you CANNOT EXPORT YOUR OWN PASSWORDS. You are held hostage when you move to Passly.

Buyer beware. I warned you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Passly?

"Great product with its limitations"
What do you like best about Passly?

Fast response to resolve issues. Easy to implement the login for various resources. Integration with Active Directory allows us to protect our TS easily and quickly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Passly?

The services seem to go down quite often. We are new customers and have already had several days were it was difficult to log into our applications and TS. We have not deployed to customers because of this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AuthAnvil is great"
What do you like best about Passly?

The think I like the most is that it is really easy to use, most times if you have ease of use, you sacrifice security, but that isn't the case at all. We use it for passwords and we also provide it as a cloud service to our clients for passwords. The password vault also has awesome and detailed reports available so we can know in seconds everything we need to know about who has accessed or what can be accessed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Passly?

I think the think I dislike the most is in the 2FA manager, there is no way to organize the tokens/users that have been set up. It would be nice to be able to create a hierarchical structure as we have many clients that use our 2FA. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Only if i have to"
What do you like best about Passly?

The now defunct on-premise product while a bit clunky just works and is the only supported two factor authentication product for LabTech and ConnectWise.

We went with AuthAnvil strictly for the 2FA but the password server was an added bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Passly?

My major issue right now is that they just released a new cloud based product and have effectively dumped the on-premise product. This is only a few months after changing the licensing and requiring us to pre-purchase a year of service of this now dead product.

Support is hit and miss and generally only via email.

Documentation is not always complete and/or clear.

We've had many issues with the password server properly syncing to Windows machines, something that is still not working 100%.

As for the new product - we could never get this to work properly and after weeks of unsuccessfully trying to get support I finally gave up.

The new cloud product definitely looks to be the right direction but the feature set is nowhere close to the product it replaces, at least not yet..

"Great software for 2FA"
What do you like best about Passly?

I like the easy to use interface and compatibility with both PC and mobile devices. I can have my soft token on my phone which is always with me. User maintenance is easy with the online portal. We really like the security it offers us and being able to tell clients that we protect their information with such a system really helps them see that we are security minded. This allows us to add a benefit that other competitors do not offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Passly?

The service is somewhat cumbersome if you have to reset a soft token, but by completing a few steps it works well every time. They could improve this process by not making you go to two different websites to reset tokens and assign them to new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent 2FA and Decent SSO"
What do you like best about Passly?

The 2 Factor Authentication is spot on. I like how there are both Soft and Hard token options. This allows our users the flexibility to use different platforms. The RADIUS Integration is helpful for our VPN Connection users. I like how there is flexibility to customize the SSO Applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Passly?

Obtaining support from AuthAnvil is tough. The response times can be slow but when we do get help it usually is a good solution. The other difficulty with the product is troubleshooting. When we notice an issue with a software function that we have set up exactly to the specifications the answer is usually that their is a Software bug and it'll be handled in the next release. "Experienced user review"
What do you like best about Passly?

I like the 2FA application, especially with the new AA on demand coming out. I find that the application is easy to use and understand and will even be easier with the new version out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Passly?

The password server is challenging from the administrative standpoint, passwords take too long to input. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
