**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I really appreciate how ScalePad Lifecycle Manager has improved our client meetings and goal tracking, making it easier to track our deliverables. The integrations, both completed and in progress, are exciting and seem to be game changers for us. I am very pleased with the product and its future plans. The product brings in data from our current tools, providing reporting in a single pane of glass, which adds value not just to our TAMs and vCIO roles but also for our Service Delivery Manager, who can compare ticket performance to recurring issues. I like how the goals, initiatives, and deliverables deliver a clear path forward for our customers. They love seeing their budgeting in a graphical display and understanding their security posture and improvements being made. This clarity helps customers better grasp complex IT issues and the solutions we provide.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The integration with our configurations in IT Glue are able to sync both ways for EoL expirations to be populated. The interface is simple to use and distribute to our team of engineers and account managers.
Overall the setup is fairly simple and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The ability to integrate with additional sources is limited. It would be much more helpful to have hardware filters already limited to the available values, without this the workflow is slower because I'm filtering through all the potential types and manufacturers we don't use.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy, updated expiration dates added to our configuration lists.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I use ScalePad Lifecycle Manager for tracking warranties across our customer base and integrating with the RMM and PSA platforms we utilize. It enables automated and fast warranty lookups, which are immediately available on the device info page of our RMM and report into our PSA on attached assets. I find it very easy to set up, and it works very well. The integration setups were also straightforward and implemented with no problems.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Monthly fee is substantial for the product, but management feel it is worth the cost.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find ScalePad Lifecycle Manager automates and speeds up warranty lookups, making this information quickly accessible within our RMM and reporting through our PSA platforms.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I really like being able to get a warranty for our clients on servers and workstations without a lot of hassle. It makes it easy for us  get a price for the quote, and present that to a customer in an efficient manner. The initial setup of ScalePad Lifecycle Manager was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Particularly, the Lifecycle Manager doesn't pick up on virtualized hardware running VMware, which is something that would be useful. However, it's becoming a nonissue for us as we transition from VMware to Hyper V, which the Lifecycle Manager works great with.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ScalePad Lifecycle Manager to keep our hardware refreshed and current with warranties, allowing us to manage sales without hassle and present quotes to customers efficiently.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

We purchased this product specifically to use for QBRs and EPRs with our clients, but it has never functioned as intended. Despite reaching out for support from both our sales representative and others, we were unable to get it working. Three months in, we requested to terminate the contract and upgrade our Lifecycle Insights plan, but were denied, even though we had not been able to get the product operational. The sales person claimed he was unaware that we were a telecom and IT company, which was surprising since 'TEL' is part of our company name. The implementation process on Manage was also very poor, which contributed to our inability to use the product properly. As a company that manages phone systems, we were advised to 'just put phones in under printer,' even though we couldn't update the name, which made the solution unworkable for our needs.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Unfortunately, the product has never worked for our team, so I am dissatisfied with both the entire product and the sales and leadership team behind it. I am leaving this review because, despite reaching out multiple times, none of my concerns have been addressed as I requested.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was looking to address the challenge of standardizing our performance review process, but unfortunately, this product has not delivered as promised. It does not function as intended or as it was presented to us, so it has not provided any real benefit. As a result, we have decided not to renew our subscription, and we are also letting our peers know about our negative experience with the product.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I really appreciate the convenience that ScalePad Lifecycle Manager provides. Its intuitive interface is one of its standout features for me, allowing me to navigate and manage equipment warranties with ease. The tool is extremely helpful in enabling me to quickly look up expiration dates and identify equipment that is ready for replacement, which is crucial in my role as a procurement manager. The ability to adjust terms and costs is also a big plus, as it gives me the flexibility to choose different terms and alter markups for PDFs as needed, making my work a lot more efficient. Additionally, the affordable warranties offered by ScalePad for servers and workstations are perfect for a managed service provider like us, as they allow us to set our markup according to our preferences, thus simplifying the quoting process. This easy-to-use quoting system allows us to generate a PDF and send it directly to our clients, saving us significant time and effort. Overall, ScalePad Lifecycle Manager is a really great tool that has become indispensable in our workflow.

I'd like the ability to choose individual terms for each workstation in ScalePad Lifecycle Manager, rather than select devices for a one year, re-sort and select 2-Year, etc.

I use ScalePad Lifecycle Manager to easily find equipment warranty expirations and determine what needs replacement, simplifying my role as a procurement manager. It streamlines equipment management and enhances efficiency, providing valuable insights and configurations for MSPs.

I like being able to present the insights to our customers, such as identifying slow workstations and Windows 11 compatibility. These features make the tool very attractive. It helps us identify which machines are upgradeable and which ones need to be replaced, which would be a real pain to do manually. The initial setup was really easy too.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I wish there were more automation and integration between initiatives, roadmaps, and insights. For example, I would love a feature that takes an insight like machines older than 4 years old and automatically puts them into automatic quarterly initiatives and planning.

ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solves the headache of managing replacements and warranties. It makes presenting workstation insights like upgrade needs and Windows 11 compatibility easy, helping us identify which devices to upgrade or replace, which is usually a real pain.

Their ability to gather warranty information from vendors that don't make it easy or in some cases at all possible from multiple sources and display it within a single console.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The pricing can be high until you start to get into the high volumes of assets in order to bring it down.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allowed multiple parts of the business running on different platforms without access to similar data to create reports and insights that are the same across the group.
We also had limited warranty information for one vendor (Dell) but now over 85% of the hardware across the group has warranty information available for it.

Some dashboards and reports feel rigid. More flexibility in tailoring views or creating custom metrics would help align with our business needs.

ScalePad Lifecycle Manager has been a game-changer for us. It gives our SMB clients a cost-effective way to extend the life of their hardware beyond manufacturer warranties, something that’s incredibly valuable when budgets are tight. The warranty extensions are seamless, and ScalePad fills the gap perfectly when vendor support runs out. On top of that, the platform’s integrations with our PSA and RMM tools streamline everything, saving us time while keeping clients protected. It’s added real value to both our service delivery and customer conversations. ScalePad has saved the day for many of our clients when there would have been nowhere else to turn!

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I would like to see more integrations added but the ones available cover PSA and RMM options that MSP's typically use.

It fills a significant gap for our customers. Giving them value-added reassurance that unexpected costs are not around the corner should a computer fail for some reason or another.

It's easy to use with good reports. The support is great. We use the platform almost on a daily basis.

The integrations are good but I don't think there is a way to have similar integrations and have it pull missing info and merge the information for the asset.

We can provide our clients with asset reports that highlight their current assets, as well as the warranty status. This helps them with budgeting for hardware replacements.

At first, you might be overwhelmed by a lot of information, however once you sort out how it's displayed, you can overcome this.

The warranty lookup was useful. It was useful for gauging client tech debt.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

None of the M365 integration features worked for us, their team told us they couldn't figure it out and to contact Microsoft. We don't have issues with integrations of similar type. We cancelled after this interaction.

We needed a solution to do warranty lookups for our client devices. It seemed like we would be able to combine that with endpoint data on configuration drift or product resell expansion.

Scale Pad integrates directly with our Connectwise platform, making it very easy to track equipment as an MSP.  I use the information from ScalePad in all of my QBRs. Having the ability to renew warranties and recycle equipment is also super helpful. Customer supportis very responsive.

The roadmap feature is a little time consuming.

ScalePad helps me track assets and software versions of equipment without having to manually pull all of the information.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

LifeCycle Manager makes it easy to see all your workstation information in a single view. Once you identify devices that have expired or expiring warranties you can easily add a third party warranty. And if the device is too old to renew you can quickly schedule it for recycling and disposal. Workstation data is pulled from your PSA, RMM, or both. If you know how to setup API accounts for your RMM and PSA  the installation is super fast.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

I wish there was a way to map additional fields for workstations. For example, one of our RMM tools writes data into UDFs in our PSA, and LifeCycle Insights cannot read that data.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By bringing all of our workstation data into one place we greatly cut down the time it takes to prepare for a QBR. The ability to add extended warranties helps us protect our customers' systems.

Scalepad has been a great partner since they aquired Quoter. We have been using Quoter to run our all of our quotes and service orders here at Hivelocity for our colocation and Enterprise Cloud businesses.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

There is nothing that I dislike so far. Service has been wonderful, even when our credit card we were using to pay the monthly bill expired, Scalepad support was very helpful and notified us immediately to resolve.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Quoter for all of our colocation and Enterprise Cloud quotes and service orders.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

ScalePad is briliant for making a clear image of a clients Computer/Server hardware inventory. Being able to give this exported report to a Business leader or their Finance team helps them plan machine and server replacements. As well as making informed decisions on Warranty lifecycles. It integrates fully with Connectwise platform and Automate and is built specifically for MSPs.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

Sometimes the platform goes down and you have to wait a little bit for the webserver side to reboot or the issue to be resolved by their team. The new UI can be a little funky to navigate having gotten use to the original UI. The integration sync for new clients can be finicky if the settings in Connectwise aren't right for a new client. Check both sides to ensure agreements are inplace.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving us a robost way to manage warrantys and product lifespans for our clients. Giving that data in a meaningful and easy to present manor. It also has the cheapest Warranty extension pricing around, is managed by the same field team that Dell and Lenovo uses. We utilizie Scalepad to assist with our Quarterly Business Reports being able to present the data in a conference setting with multiple users. in addition the warranty support is done direct in the ScalePad console. This makes it easy to see case details and who opened a case for a paticular computer, server and what have you. Scalepad integrates with our Connectwise stack including billing. If you are able to get over the high price tag and don't have a good asset lifecycle management software, this is your go-to choice. Having third-party warranties is a MAJOR bonus as well.

I enjoy using Scalepad LifeCycle Manager as it makes life easier when it comes to providing customers with a warranty/end of life report. Before we were using Lifecycle Manager would have to log into our RMM application manually, export a list of machines and obtain the warranties later, now with the intergration into our RMM, we can pull the data seamlessly and send this over to our customers to give them an insight into their business assets.

We did want the ability to check if machines were compatible with Windows 10 which is something we were told was available but we haven't seen in production.

**What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

A lot of the information that Lifecycle Manager provides can be viewed within an RMM tool.  What cannot be viewed easily is the hardware warranty information.  One thing I like about LCM is that the tool integrates with a good number of our hardware vendors; network, systems, storage, etc.  API integrations are very easy to setup.

I really like the ability to Roadmap, and help clients create IT budgets for hardware replacement.  Also cool is the ability to offer extended warranties.  The reporting is very clean, and this product is a huge tool in our QBR toolkit.

The provided training workshops were extremely beneficial.  Onboarding / customer support was very well though out.  This led to a very quick and easy implementation, and the tool is natively easy to use.

I sign into ScalePad Lifecycle Manager on a weekly basis to start preparing for my account reviews.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The only downside is that during our onboarding, the person stated that asset disposal was included at no charge.  Come to find out, we have to upgrade our licensing to unlock free asset disposal.

That's okay though, we have a disposal vendor already.

LCM gives us much better visibility into the hardware roadmap, as well as warranty status.

Our largest benefit to using scalepad is the ability to extend out of warranty servers where the provider no longer supports the hardware.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The syncing integration only adds it does not remove items syncd if the integration is removed.

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is solving our ability to manage warranty renewals.

Thanks for your feedback about the syncing integration in ScalePad Lifecycle Manager! I totally understand your concern regarding the removal of assets when an integration is disabled.

Just to clarify, Lifecycle Manager should remove assets from the removed integration—unless those assets are also tied to another active integration. Since we support multiple integrations (like RMM and PSA), some assets can exist in both systems and get aggregated into one view.

The reporting and visibility in ScalePad has been great to share information with clients on their overall systems age, and the easy to interpret reporting means it can be sent directly to clients and they can understand it. The warranty purchase process is easy and the support when needed has bene great.

**What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?**

The only thing I can say that I do not like is the time it takes for the hardware recycling to produce a certificate of disposal .

**What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The major problem this product solved was visibility into hardware age and warranty status.
