The included remote connect utitlity works in browser which is nice, but there is a remote viewer you can install on your tech station as well. The scripting ability with Powershell is a handy feature and I like that 2FA is enforced by default when trying to connect to a machine. There is also a built in registry editor for making changes without having to remote connect to a worksation. They also have native integration with Deep Instinct (if you're interested in using it) and they have their cloud backup solution integrated into the RMM which is super handy to be able to view deivce informaiton and backup status all from one UI. **What do you dislike about MSP360 RMM?** The remote connect tool has some problems with unattended access when using the software. Never had an issue using the browser version, but it can be annoying having to access the RMM dashboard to connect to a client after hours. The RMM platform is very basic, don't expect exciting graphs and alert modules like you would have with some of the competitors. There is no integrated ticketing or PSA solution with MSP360 - this is straight up RMM with remote connect. **What problems is MSP360 RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Device health monitoring, Windows patch management, remote support ability with the Remote Connect software, and easy scripting acess to deploy Powershell scripts or system changed when necessary. Their backup solution is pretty solid also, and MSP360 RMM has the backup integrated with RMM so we can manage RMM and backup from one UI. ### 10. Their integrated monitoring gives a snapshot of each PC, their backup is simple to deploy and monitor and their remote access is a breeze. I can push updates to each PC as needed. They stay on top of updating their own software. I have never had an issue connecting to my portal or accessing what I need. Their support is easy to access and they respond quickly. **What do you dislike about MSP360 RMM?** Setting up remote access for first time clients was a bit tricky the first few times I tried it, but after some advice from MSP360 support I've got the process down pat. **What problems is MSP360 RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Relying on Clients to determine Product specs, updates, etc. is problematic. MSP360 RMM does it for me. Once deployed, I can monitor and push needed MS updates, see in near-real-time PC issues via their EventViewer monitor. I can easily track all client backups, see when they have failed and resolve the issue without having to physically be at the client. Their Cloudberry Backup solution is the best I've found, and it itegrates seamlessly with my Backblaze B2 and AWS storage. When there are questions or issues, controlling the client PC/Server is simple and quick. ### 11. You setup the jobs and can just monitor the reporting so it only takes a minute or 2 each day to ensure all your backups are running as they should. **What do you dislike about MSP360 RMM?** The only gripe is that it can be a bit tedious to link to a new Azure subscription/storage account to set a restore going. Once you know what you are doing then it isn't much of an issue but the first 2 times it's a bit difficult. **What problems is MSP360 RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mssp360 is solving our backup issues. The cost is reasonably aligned with the features included, so it works well as a backup RMM, and since it also includes Connect it provides another method of remote access if you need it. **What do you dislike about MSP360 RMM?** It really does lack a lot of features. Right now it only has very basic controls to manage endpoint devices. There's not a robust way to manage groups of endpoints, nor is there a way to use policies to manage endpoint state. **What problems is MSP360 RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Right now, MSP360 RMM acts as a backup RMM system that provides a secondary way for me to connect to Windows endpoints. Other that that, it doesn't really offer me anything over what I'm already using. ### 13. The solution is good, but with physical backups, we would also like to do virtual backups on the same dashboard. So if you have a combination of physical and virtual machines, then backing up virtual machines will cost you a bit more than the physical ones. **What problems is MSP360 RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is solving local and cloud backups from one centralised place. If you have a local NAS, you can backup a copy to it and the also backup to cloud destinations such as AWS or WASABI ### 20. Their Connect software provides a quick way into remote machines. The RMM dashboard is excellent for quickly locating the target computer, its resource usage, any system errors, etc. You may also install and uninstall software and windows updates from the dashboard. **What do you dislike about MSP360 RMM?** The worst thing is when the Connect software won't work without someone rebooting the machine. I haven't figured out how to reboot the computer from the dashboard yet. If that was possible then this would take care of many of the Connect issues. **What problems is MSP360 RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?** They allow me to monitor and manage many different businesses and hundreds of computers for one low monthly fee. Granularity on alerting leaves something to be desired, but that's also on the near-horizon list, according to the developers. **Recommendations to others considering MSP360 RMM:** The interface takes little to no time to understand, and the licensing is extremely reasonable. Frankly, if what they offer isn't within your budget, you're probably not yet ready to use tools like this at all.
