**What do you like best about ConnectWise RMM?**

The ease of learning and the ease of using the tool is what I like about Connectwise RMM the most. Scripting is also one of the features that I like, it not only fixes stuff automatically but also saves time for the tecnicial with automating basic tasks and documenting them.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise RMM?**

Nothing is perfect in this world there is always some room for improvement so is with this great tool. The tools efficiency and reliability can really be improved with continuous and quick updates. It runs on a little heavier side on resources of the system that can be improved.

**What problems is ConnectWise RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use ConnectWise to monitor our clients throughout the globe. The product allows us to work remotely in a quick and precise manner. The remote capacity of the product allows us to remote in on our clients and the alerting technology works in unison with our ticketing system.

It is easy to access and use from any location.  No need to install a client on your computer to perform necessary functions on client computers.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise RMM?**

It could have more scripting capability as well as reporting options.

**What problems is ConnectWise RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The automation that it provides along with the additional assistance from their NOC when needed really enables us to perform more work with less hands.  No more manual patch testing and deployment.  The system als monitors and alerts for key things so you can be made aware BEFORE they become a hardware issue that causes the network to go down or the user to be without their device.

**What do you like best about ConnectWise RMM?**

What I like most is how well it works with other ConnectWise tools. If you're already using something like ConnectWise Manage, this fits right in and keeps everything in sync. Turning tickets into projects or tasks is smooth, and it helps keep things organized across the team. I also really like how Moovila integrates with it—it makes scheduling and tracking progress a lot easier, especially when managing multiple resources.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise RMM?**

The interface can be clunky, especially for newer users. It’s not always intuitive, and you might spend time just trying to figure out where things are. Also, the tax calculations are unreliable, so we have to double-check everything in a separate billing system. Some of the automation tools are helpful, but you’ll need to do quite a bit of tweaking to make them work the way you want—especially if your projects don’t follow a standard template.

**What problems is ConnectWise RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ConnectWise RMM helps us stay on top of device management, monitoring, and support—especially across multiple client environments. It gives us real-time visibility into what's happening on machines, so we can catch and fix issues before users even notice. That means fewer reactive support tickets and more time spent on proactive work. It also streamlines patch management and automation, which saves a lot of manual effort. Overall, it’s helping us deliver faster, more reliable service to our clients and keeps our internal team more efficient.

**What do you like best about ConnectWise RMM?**

its seamless automation and deep integration across the ConnectWise ecosystem. The ability to proactively monitor, patch, and resolve issues without manual intervention has significantly reduced downtime and increased efficiency for our team.

The onboarding and policy-based automation tools are powerful—especially when managing large fleets of endpoints. I also really appreciate the real-time alerts and customizable dashboards that give us full visibility into system health and performance at a glance.

Another major plus is how well it integrates with ConnectWise PSA and other tools in the suite. This tight integration allows for streamlined ticketing, documentation, and billing, which makes the entire workflow—from detection to resolution—much more efficient.

In short, ConnectWise RMM helps us deliver better service with less overhead, and that's a huge win for both our team and our clients.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise RMM?**

initial setup and configuration can be somewhat complex and time-consuming, especially for newer users or smaller teams without dedicated onboarding support.

Additionally, while the integration with the broader ConnectWise ecosystem is strong, it sometimes feels like certain features or updates lag behind what competitors offer in terms of modern UI or streamlined workflows. The patch management module, in particular, could benefit from more flexibility and transparency in how updates are applied and tracked.

Lastly, support response times can vary. When issues arise, we’ve occasionally experienced delays that impacted resolution speed.

That said, the product has been evolving steadily, and many of these pain points have improved over time. With continued updates, we’re confident the platform will only get better.

ConnectWise RMM helps us proactively monitor and manage endpoints, reducing downtime and reactive tickets. Automated patching, alerts, and scripting let us resolve issues before they affect users. **What do you like best about ConnectWise RMM?**

Connectwise RMM is a great tool to manage all clients in one place and you can have policies set up to deploy and manage features on a client per client, or package basis.
There is a lot of flexibility in what you can do and can make the platform do for you.
Integrations with other tools are becoming a lot more widespread and it is now also offering vulnerability scanning and other features by default.
Always good to keep an eye on the change logs as you might be pleasantly surprised.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise RMM?**

They have been going through a re-design and that is taking a very long time. While it is almost finished, the different portions of the portal showing different styles and options was confusing at times.

**What problems is ConnectWise RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centrally manage all clients and their machines.
Being able to remotely access them, patch and get alerted to issues.
And get integration with their NOC and SOC.

- "Script Editor" for tasks is powerful. Allows for multiple scripts to run, ability to reference outputs from previous scripts, contain macOS & windows scripts in the same task
- "Asio Platform" concept has a lot of promise
- Tasks are pretty snappy when running
- Native Auvik integration
- I appreciate the patch policy/package setup, although it took some time to dial in

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise RMM?**

- UNABLE TO SORT OR RESIZE COLUMNS ON THE DEVICE PAGE, A FEATURE REQUEST THAT HAS BEEN OPEN FOR 4 YEARS!!!!
- Reporting is done in a completely separate platform (Brighgauge)
- Agents loose connectivity randomly, no discernable reason too sporadic to troubleshoot or raise a case with support
- 3rd party application patching lacking basic reporting features (what has been installed, what is scheduled to be installed, if the job failed, etc.)
- Limited integrations

**What problems is ConnectWise RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ConnectWise provides remote monitoring and management functionality for our MSP/MSSP. It suffices as a relatively lateral move from datto RMM.

**What do you like best about ConnectWise RMM?**

ConnectWise RMM lets us support clients as if we were sitting at their workstation. Even better, its automation engine allows us to tie tasks to specific tickets and monitors, so we often resolve issues before the client even notices.

Deployment was simple: Simple setup of clients a small agents on their machines that can allow simple script deployment of our other products. My account manager checks in regularly to make sure everything’s running smoothly. It’s truly a fantastic partner that invests in your success as an MSP.

We've been using ConnectWise RMM for over 5 years now and just find it simple and effective. There are a ton of pre-built automations you can run to reduce engineering time and effort and the flexibility to set different policies to different groups of endpoints is quick and easy to use.

Visible Dashboards to give quick overviews are developing but could still be a bit better.

**What do you like best about ConnectWise RMM?**

Connectwise RMM gives us the ability to assist our customers as though we were right there in front of their computer. On top of that, the ability to automate various tasks and assign them as workflows in response to various tickets and monitors gives us the ability to resolve a number of problems before the client is even aware there was a problem.

Implementation took me less than 3 hours. The first 15 minutes were spent setting up my account, the remainder of the time was setting up my customers and installing the agent on their machines. My account manager reaches out regularly to ensure that everything is going well. It's truly a fantastic company to work with that cares about your success as an MSP.

We also purchased access to their SOC services using BitDefender Gravity. Integrating BitDefender into the RMM portal was simple and completed in less than 10 minutes. Now, all of my clients that subscribe to the SOC offering receive BitDefender on their computers within 30 minutes of the agent being installed.

I'm on this platform daily monitoring my users' computers and am happy with the features provided.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise RMM?**

Unlike their sister product Automate, there doesn't appear to be a thick client that I can install on my computer to manage everything. The Web interface is great, but I like having the thick client available.

I have a number of clients with multiple computers in use. This lets me ensure they are up to date, secure, and meeting the needs of my clients.

**What do you like best about ConnectWise RMM?**

Easy to use Remote Access.  The integration of Webroot AV, and Sentinel One.  Easy ability to provide OS upgrades.  Also makes it very easy to analyze PC issues with the monitoring software.  The software is easy to install, and customer support is very easy to reach, and they can usually solve all issues on the spot.  As an MSP owner, I use the RMM every day.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise RMM?**

Could use a more affordable cloud backup option, that integrates into the RMM.

**What problems is ConnectWise RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides at a glace to determine OS versions, AV protection.  If any of these programs have issues the built in scripts can usually solve the issue, and when clients need support the One-Click Remote Access makes logging  with needed tools easier then any other remote program on the market.  I have also used support to fix issues.

It’s a single pane of glass where my technicians can see everything. The improvements over the past couple years has been amazing. My staff is more productive than they ever been.

Sometimes there are integrations I wish they had but don’t exist yet. However, they are always working on adding integrations.

Implementation can be rocky, but the outsourced teams Connectwise uses are good at intervening and getting implementation problems resolved.

We had minimal proficiency with Connectwise Automate and were not well positioned to leverage it to full potential. Connectwise RMM does everything Automate was doing for us after a painful setup and now a lot more in a much easier to build gui.

Device management is key feature. Remote support tools are great and fairly easy to use!

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise RMM?**

The app can be klunky and somewhat to difficult to use the more in-depth you would like to use CW RMM. Access and functionality isn't as reliable as desired.

CW RMM is great at making sure our client devices software is current (as required by client) and running latest updates.

The look and feel are very outdated. I think this needs a more modern look with customization.

Having to reassign the Agreement to an invoice in the final stages can be frustrating.

The roadmap, the feature releases and the UI. We have been using for just over 2 years now, and it just continues to get better and better. The integrations and workflows are very impressive!

It would help to have RMM consulting available, but partner success is great, as is the CW university!

The product is ok but the management is very poor. Each department does their own thing and does not communicate with the others.

**What do you dislike about ConnectWise RMM?**

Poor internal operations. They lack communication. Sales makes a deal and billing gets it wrong, then they tell you that management has to fix it, then after 6 months of overbilling they have the nerve to tell me to give them time.

The portal is easy to log into, find customers and their devices, see quantities, see system information... all that is needed for billing.

The system is also very easy to use to screenshare with clients so that I can walk them through signing up for our billing portal, even for the least technical. (That would be me!!)

I haven't found anything that I dislike or find cumbersome to use. It's a great product.

As the CEO, I can't think of 1 positive feature other than vendors have heard of CW.  My team and I are reviewing other options.

Customer Support is terrible.  If you ask them a question, the response is a list of KB article to review.  I'm the CEO and I don't have the time to search KB articles and then trouble shoot.  I've been a CW user to 10 years and I'm making a switch.

It's a very basic tool that is of limited use.

Its as much an expansion to our team as anything else. Being able to toss work to them that normally would tie up one of our resoucrses is nice and the fact its all integrated with our CW system. Makes it easy for oncall to get alerts and then toss a service issue back to them.

The platform has been deamed the next steps for CW. They're putting all their resources into it vs with Automate. We heavily use automate for all our scirpting, endpoint management and what have you. RMM is also as much a time sink as automate to setup where we have dedicated employees who thats all they do.

Giving a diverse means of expanding our team without hiring full time employees. Advanced monitoring and issue mitigations. A NOC service that is 24/7.

The web app looks better to me as it works faster as compared to Desktop RMM. 
The Desktop RMM can be improved as everytime you shutdown the computer, Connectwise Desktop RMM ask for full login details which is little uncomfortable.

The Desktop app can be improved. 
The Interface is quite tightened as compared to Web app. 
The Web app looks cool and open space interface.

Easy to use navigation and management of devices is far most the best best thing with the tool. Once you get used to the application it will be the best suited RMM tool for your business.
The most helpful thing I would say is the device management console and the in-depth features for individual devices is so much optimised, it would be easy for a new person to understand its full potential.

Slight delay in the server end and sometimes unresponsive ui is I do not like.
