It includes employee information, employee pay roll, employee leave timetables, calendars for educators, an employee portal and much more. It is made for education which is a big advantage. If you have IT experts in-house there is also the ability for it to be customized. **What do you dislike about PowerSchool BusinessPlus?** So far I don't see any disadvantage of using this BusinessPlus system. **Recommendations to others considering PowerSchool BusinessPlus:** This system has got best service any business and other organisations would need to have.This is because it has ability to customize and granular control over workflow and security issues so i can't hesitate to recommend any institution. **What problems is PowerSchool BusinessPlus solving and how is that benefiting you?** This system's Banner is able to generate huge reports with a lot of data that enables us to make better decisions for our company and other departments. ### 6. The best part about it is that it's an integrated system. It includes employee information/demographics, employee pay, employee leave, calendars for educators, an employee portal, and much more. It is designed for education which is a big benefit. If you have programmers in-house there is also the ability for it to be customized. **What do you dislike about PowerSchool BusinessPlus?** It's a cumbersome system compared to some of the other sleeker systems available, and many of the features that we like best we have customized ourselves. **Recommendations to others considering PowerSchool BusinessPlus:** This is a solid product with much integration. If you have a team in house that can customize, this is a good solution for a district. There may be better "out of the box" solutions though if you don't have that ability. As an overall ERP solution it is good. There are other modules that we don't use included applicant recruiting and tracking as well as sub tracking and finding. It has a basic look and feel in terms of user interface and looks a bit antiquated, but overall it gets the job done well. The integration of this product throughout all aspects of business office and human resources functions cannot be overstated. It is the reason why this product works well. **What problems is PowerSchool BusinessPlus solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have seamlessly integrated our leave system with our calendar system. It has a lot of customization and is what most universities are using. The new interations are much more **What do you dislike about PowerSchool BusinessPlus?** The problem with banner is that you need to know what you're working with and--as always--have clean data. Making sure you know the banner langue is key to making the most out of this system. **Recommendations to others considering PowerSchool BusinessPlus:** Regardless of the challenges, nothing come close to Banner, but be sure to review other student management systems to find what would be best for your institution. **What problems is PowerSchool BusinessPlus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Banner is able to generate large reports with a lot of data that allows us to make better decisions for our school and departments. ### 9. The user interface looks simple; however, it is definitely not. It is so out of date no matter the upgrades they have. Education needs more business like solutions. Banner requires clean data--how many people truly have a clean dating set. **Recommendations to others considering PowerSchool BusinessPlus:** Don't use salesforce instead. Possibly budget friends; better than nothing at all. **What problems is PowerSchool BusinessPlus solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not many. It works as an ok ERP system but it doesn't hold for long. DIfficult to use, load, etc. ### 10. Not fully web compatible with HTML 5 support, requires specific OS and browser using Citrix connection. Updates are slow to deploy.
