In the expense section of the timesheet, to open new data rows, you must click on "+ add extra pay and counter". No one knows what that means! It should either have 1 line already opened or the wording should be something like "click here to open expense template". I can easily find what I'm looking for with a few clicks of the mouse. The layout is very easy to navigate and I like the ability to personalize my dashboard so that the things I check the most are already front and center and I don't have to click through everything to find what I'm looking for. Submitting requests for time of and time changes are really simple as well. I use my dashboard every day. I sign in to make sure I have my hours logged and I check to see what time I clocked out for lunch so that I know what time I need to clock back in. I can easily find and save or print my paycheck stubs. I can see my PTO availability on my dashboard as soon as I sign in and that helps me submit the time off requests easier when I have appointments or need to take personal time. I can see all of my benefits without searching for them. And when my company implements a new benefit plan or employee handbook amendment I can easily find it under the My HR tab and sign or approve the new items. I also like how there are multiple ways to get to each thing, that makes it easier for everyone to find. Different people prefer different routes and having multiple routes helps everyone. The only thing I don't like about UKG Ready is not at the fault of UKG. When I first started my job I could go in and change my direct deposit information myself, my company changed it to where a form has to be submitted to them for them to make the changes. I really appreciate that UKG gives us the ability to make changes to where our money goes and am disappointed that my HR department has disabled that feature. Our team is able to customize the different platforms to fit our company's needs. And the reporting is top notch. Our fiscal year begins on July 1st. In the past, we've always had to run 2 YTD reports and do a cut and paste job to come up with fiscal year data. I love being able to give the Accounting auditor and the 401k auditor login access each year - so that they can pull the data that they need directly from the system. And once the audit is completed, I can deactivate their access. I love that individuals who leave the organization can still have limited access to the system. They can still see their W2s, pay statements and other tax forms. That eliminates those phone calls and emails each January from individuals who no longer work with the organization. The Time & Attendance platform allowed us to finally get our PTO / Accrual process automated. We have also been able to implement a grant allocation process on the T&A platform as well. Two things that we've had to do manually in other systems. And we were finally able to get rid of a 15 tab Excel document by automating our payroll journal entry. That is something I would list 5 times on repeat. Every system we used in the past always promised that they could integrate with NetSuite (our company's Accounting software). UKG not only promised but they delivered. For once our Accounting Department has been happy with HRs selection of a HRIS. We also had a great implementation team. Area of improvement: Service request response time could be better. When an individual opens a ticket / service request, we should receive a response that day. The EverythingBenefits area should really be evaluated. The EDI connection process could be easier. The Performance Review platform could be more intuitive. The workflow process required for this process is unreal. Not sure why the development team is not able to add commas to the dollar amounts on the Applicant Tracking platform. I really like that all my Payroll and HR needs are in one place. UKG is very user friendly. Our staff find it very easy to use. I loved our implementation team. I was able to speak with the same person from the beginning to the end which made me feel very confident with the customer support I would be given going forward. I also found ease with the integration of UKG and our benefit vendors. This makes enrolling and terminating employees from benefits seamless. I'm frequently logged into UKG daily. I don't like that sometimes there are issues with the internet connection being lost and the software doesn't load. It usually always seems to be an issue when I need to submit a payroll. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about UKG Ready is how easy it is to clock in and out using the app—especially helpful during a busy school day. It's user-friendly, and I appreciate having quick access to my timesheets, accruals, and pay stubs all in one place. It helps keep things organized and transparent. I use UKG Ready daily to clock in and out, check my timesheet, and track time off. t's convenient and easy to use, especially on mobile.

What I dislike is that sometimes the app can be a bit slow or glitchy, especially when there are updates or during high-traffic times. It would be helpful if notifications were clearer when a punch doesn't go through properly.

I love being able to submit and review my timesheets into something I can check at anytime or anywhere. We came from a manual system of submitting via an Excel template, so this so much better. I love that I can quickly see what my overtime hours are at. It makes submitting paid time off and reviewing pay stubs very simple as well. I feel like I'm always finding something new which speaks to it's power and thoroughness. I stumbled across the Predict Your Pay feature which is very helpful for budgeting and wage negotiations. I think there are very few downsides. One drawback is becuase it is so powerful/thorough, sometimes things can be a little clunky or overwhelming. For example, when entering hours on the timesheet, my natural instinct is to type in a time, then tab to the next, etc. This isn't really worth doing because it takes too long due to how many columns with input fields there are. Most of these columns I never look at or change. I don't really need to see them. It's a minor annoyance that is easily solved by clicking or tapping to where I want to go, but it would be nice if there was an option for a streamlined experience. Even though is can be overwhelming at first glance, when you start exploring, it's actually very intuitive, so I can't complain too much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a payroll manager I find payroll to be very easy to use and easy to teach to my team. The reporting for our needs is fantastic, they have some many built in reports that show you exactly what you need. It would be hard to say what I dislike about UKG. I will say implementation will go as fast as you have time for, so if you put in the effort it will go smoothly but that is always a bit hard while doing your current job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The way that UKG lays out information for my organization is pretty clear once you familiarize yourself with the platform. I mostly use this platform to request time off, access compensation information, download tax documents, and access links to benefits related to my position. I think that figuring out how to navigate UKG when you first start using it can be intimidating/confusing. Once you get a sense for how everything is laid out, accessing the top features becomes muscle memory. I'm not sure about an exact solution for that, other than customized tutorials that point out how to use the features that are considered "most used," like a top 5 features tutorial. I like how easy it was to figure out things on my own. I didn't need HR personnel to walk me through a "how to" on anything. It was easy to log in my first time, and every other time after. The data displayed in the various sections were simple and easy to understand. It all just made sense. It is the most intuitive payroll software I have ever used.
