Recommendations to others considering SchoolMessenger School Notification:
Look at what the product can offer and see if it stands up to competitors. Ask other districts about their experiences. Most importantly, really do your homework on the customer service offered by SchoolMessenger. I found it to be almost non-existent until I googled the CEO and CFO, figured out their email addresses, and emailed them. Also look closely at their contract. Despite a data breach, you have to look at the cost of litigation as well. Just do your homework well. Its low cost - you get what you pay for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is SchoolMessenger School Notification solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used it to solve home/school communication issues. It was reliable with good service for the first 11 years of the contract. In year 12, they didn't properly pull the data from our SIS and released confidential information to parents in our 30,000 student district. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
