What do you like best about Rent Manager?

We have worked with several rental software companies, but Rent Manager stands out as the most user-friendly option we've encountered. With RM, we are able to accomplish everything we need, and if a particular feature isn't available, their team is willing to explore whether it can be implemented. "Rent Manager was a fortunate discovery"
What do you like best about Rent Manager?

The thoroughness of the product is amazing. After 3 years of use we are still discovering new features. Statements use to take us most of a day to prepare. Now it takes minutes. And the virtual mailing operation saves more hours while costing about the same as doing it in house.

The software has been surprisingly easy to use, especially for something as feature rich as this is. Sometimes we get into something new or complex and we need help. RM Support is by far the best I have ever seen. The assistance is fast, friendly and thorough.

In 3 years of daily use the system has never crashed. That's unbelievable stability for something so complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rent Manager?

Dislike? What is there to dislike? So you have to refresh the deposit after posting. Seems that should be unnecessary. But as a former software executive I understand the need the need for milestones if you want to preserve the ability to unwind a transaction. Not a big deal. What do you like best about Rent Manager?

I like how Rent Manager Xpress makes everything streamlined, efficient, and organized for managing our mobile home park. It's really easy to pull out each tenant's information since their information is stored conveniently. I love the online payment feature as it integrates with Zico, eliminating the need to go to the bank frequently. Additionally, even though the initial setup wasn't easy, the great customer service really helped make the process better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rent Manager?

I wish Rent Manager could offer some very fundamental crash courses for beginners. It's not that easy to input tenant information, generate a rent statement, and do the basic stuff. The initial setup is not that easy, but customer service is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rent Manager?

Rent Manage Online is straightforward to use and offers a comprehensive set of features. It gives me all the information I need to keep track of tenants, manage repairs, and set budgets efficiently. The integrations are especially helpful. With Zego handling payments, I can trust that everything is properly recorded without extra effort on my part. I also appreciate the webinars—they feel like having a personal instructor available whenever I need guidance. Rent Manager comes equipped with a wide range of tools that make managing my properties much easier. I never have to second-guess myself when monitoring profit and loss, delinquent tenants, lease expirations, or other daily operational details. What do you like best about Rent Manager?

I like Rent Manager because it's efficient in solving problems and helps create files to keep track of residents in a commercial rental business. I also value the use of scan tool the most. This tool helps with deposits for me in the office. I don't have to go to a bank for this process. The initial setup was quite easy, and then I generally just log in and go from there. What do you dislike about Rent Manager?

I find Rent Manager so easy to use and learn. It keeps so much information all in one place, which really helps with organization. I also like that all communications are tracked. Rent Manager is a seamless do-everything program that's like the brain of the business. I like its customization capabilities, offering real accounting functions unlike some of its competitors. It fills the gaps left by other software, which often lack in basic accounting features and customization to our business model. Though the initial setup was a long process, they made it easy. What do you like best about Rent Manager?

Rent manager is very easy to use. The ability to find information from one report to another is very seamless. There are lots of useful tools to streamline our day to day accounting. The support group has also been very helpful with any problem we have faced, including technical issues, and accounting issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rent Manager?

There are some features that don't make sense and we would love to see improved on. One of the bigger adjustments for us is Rent Manager's use of a prepay account for prepaid rents. We use cash basis accounting and prepaid rent should just be recognized as rent, and not stored in a prepaid account until rent is due. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rent Manager?

I use Rent Manager as an all-in-one property management software that brings us closer to our tenants. I really like the lease management and accounts reporting features, and with the help of the implementation team, the setup was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rent Manager?

I think there should be an easier way to reach support. I shouldn't have to call before I can connect with the support team. What do you dislike about Rent Manager?

Customer support and training is severely lacking. Found out today they don't even have a template for a rent increase letter. We are still going to have to export data to Excel and do a mail merge with a Word doc. When I called for support, he just said, "yeah, I'm surprised we don't have one". Also the initial training is limited to a certain number of days, so make sure you are 100% ready to go and understand exactly what date they will need before signing up, otherwise your timed trainings will run out and you'll be left with a mess to clean up.
