The Mammoth Analytics Platform is a cloud based (SaaS) data management solution. It is a lightweight, on-demand product that provides powerful tools for users to explore, visualize and share data. The platform provides a dead-simple interface to gather, analyze and publish your data. It is a self-serve solution that removes the pressure of relying on IT personnel or learning new skills to manage the data life cycle.
I love the ease of creating workflows with the data streams we use as input. We just have to create the workflows once and then whenever we need a report to be sent, we just need to upload a new sheet with the raw data. I am glad that I don't need Python or a super expensive enterprise level BI tool to do this.
What do you dislike?
I really wish this was an end to end data analysis solution with open APIs to pull data in JSON format from literally anywhere and output the report using an API as well. This will really help automate the complete flow directly from our application and send reports back to the application. Mammoth could a great data middleware for us. Also, if it could provide data dashboards & visualizations as well, then it would be 110% value for money.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We need to create reports for the incubators and accelerators that we work with on the progress and learning of their cohorts with the data coming in from different platforms like our LMS, an external assessment and entrepreneur progress tracker. The raw data that comes from all these places is very messy and it takes a lot of time in preparing the data to create insightful and actionable reports. Mammoth helps us in preparing that data through automated workflows and all we have to worry about is uploading the new data and downloading the generated report which just takes a minute and saves us the cost of hiring an analyst just for that job.
