## About Mammoth
Mammoth is a data preparation and automation platform that enables business and technical users to clean, transform, and operationalize data for analytics and reporting. It sits in the category of data transformation and workflow automation software, providing tools for working with structured files, databases, and cloud sources without requiring complex scripting. The platform is designed for teams that need to centralize disparate data, reduce manual spreadsheet work, and create repeatable processes that feed dashboards, models, and operational systems. Mammoth is used by analysts, operations teams, and data-adjacent professionals who manage recurring data tasks or require a more scalable alternative to spreadsheet-based workflows. Common use cases include preparing sales or marketing data for dashboards, normalizing exports from multiple vendors, building automated reporting pipelines, and consolidating data from different systems into a single, analyzable format. Users typically adopt Mammoth when they need a solution that bridges the gap between traditional BI tools and heavier data engineering platforms, providing a middle layer that is accessible while still offering advanced transformation capabilities. Key characteristics of the platform include visual, step-based transformations; support for importing files of various formats; the ability to automate recurring workflows; and integrations that allow processed data to be sent downstream to databases, BI tools, or cloud storage. The software is suited for organizations of different sizes, particularly those without dedicated data engineering resources but with recurring analytical or reporting needs. Main features and capabilities include: • Tools for cleaning, transforming, and joining datasets without needing to write code. • Automated workflows that run on schedules or triggers to support recurring reporting. • Connectivity with files, spreadsheets, databases, and cloud data sources. • Options to export or sync processed data into analytics platforms or operational systems. • A workspace environment that supports collaboration across analysts and operational teams. Primary benefits for users include: • Reduced manual spreadsheet work and fewer repetitive data-prep tasks. • Improved consistency and accuracy in recurring datasets used for reporting. • Faster time from raw data to analysis-ready outputs. • Centralization of disparate data sources into unified workflows. • Greater accessibility to data transformation for non-engineering roles.

## Mammoth Reviews
  ### 1. Empowering Non-Coders with Data Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ken B. | Consultant

**What do you like best about Mammoth?**

I really like that Mammoth allows me, a business manager who does not know how to code, to be independent and do my own data work without needing help from IT. The automation has transformed what was once a slow, error-prone manual data collection and transformation process. This allows me to add additional data sources and increase the speed, frequency, and detail of our reporting. The data exploration features are incredibly helpful in noticing changes and fixing potential problems in our data before reports are distributed. The visual nature of Mammoth's data exploration cards makes it easy to see aberrations and identify data issues. Mammoth worked closely with us as early clients to ensure proper setup, which enabled me to work independently going forward.

**What do you dislike about Mammoth?**

At times in the past, we noticed strangeness in our data after an update, and occasionally it turned out the issue was not with our data but a bug on the Mammoth side. Mammoth was always responsive and fixed the issues, but this did sometimes lead to delays on our end.

**What problems is Mammoth solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mammoth to automate manual data collection and transformation, allowing me to add more data sources and improve reporting speed and detail without coding. The data exploration features help detect issues early, and I can do data work independently without needing IT.

  ### 2. Streamlines Data Integration, Amazing.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Mammoth?**

I like the easy-to-use cleaning functions and data set links in Mammoth. Cleaning data is hard, and having the step-by-step process in a pipeline makes it easier. The logic of the system is brilliant. I love that Google export feature; it is game-changing. The initial setup was easy enough, and while I could do with more training, it's great. I use Mammoth with other tools like Power BI, SharePoint, and Google, and I love them.

**What do you dislike about Mammoth?**

Not much. It can be a bit slow but that is it.

**What problems is Mammoth solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mammoth to blend client data sources into a robust dataset, making data cleaning and linking easy and repeatable. Its step-by-step pipeline simplifies the process, and the cleaning functions are brilliant.

  ### 3. Data Transformation made easy!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher C. | Data and Insights Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Mammoth?**

The code-free environment makes data manipulation easy and intuitive. The in-built functions make it simple to learn and easy to navigate. The ability to combine, join, merge, and lookup across multiple views makes data transformation a breeze!

**What do you dislike about Mammoth?**

Despite all the benefits of being code-free, sometimes there are equations, manipulations, and IF/AND statements that I just cant make easily with the in-built functionality.

**What problems is Mammoth solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Synthesising data from various sources to provide a single source of insight.

  ### 4. A messiah for automatically preparing everyday messy data for reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Najmuzzaman M. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Mammoth?**

I love the ease of creating workflows with the data streams we use as input. We just have to create the workflows once and then whenever we need a report to be sent, we just need to upload a new sheet with the raw data. I am glad that I don't need Python or a super expensive enterprise level BI tool to do this.

**What do you dislike about Mammoth?**

I really wish this was an end to end data analysis solution with open APIs to pull data in JSON format from literally anywhere and output the report using an API as well. This will really help automate the complete flow directly from our application and send reports back to the application. Mammoth could a great data middleware for us. Also, if it could provide data dashboards & visualizations as well, then it would be 110% value for money.

**What problems is Mammoth solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to create reports for the incubators and accelerators that we work with on the progress and learning of their cohorts with the data coming in from different platforms like our LMS, an external assessment and entrepreneur progress tracker. The raw data that comes from all these places is very messy and it takes a lot of time in preparing the data to create insightful and actionable reports. Mammoth helps us in preparing that data through automated workflows and all we have to worry about is uploading the new data and downloading the generated report which just takes a minute and saves us the cost of hiring an analyst just for that job.
