What do you like best about AppWork?

We’ve been using this maintenance software for over a year now, and it’s been an absolute game-changer for our team. The ability to create customizable and recurring inspections has completely streamlined how we manage our maintenance schedules — no more missed checks or manual reminders! It’s intuitive, flexible, and saves us a ton of time.

On top of that, the customer support is outstanding. Every interaction has been quick, friendly, and super helpful. What do you dislike about AppWork?

What do you like best about AppWork?

I really appreciate how AppWork makes it very easy to put in a work order. Everything needed is already there, so all I have to do is enter the unit and state the problem, which simplifies the process significantly. This ease of use is incredibly valuable to me, as it streamlines managing resident work orders without unnecessary complications. Moreover, I found the initial setup of AppWork to be quite straightforward, which further enhances its user-friendly nature and makes the transition to using this tool a smooth experience. I dislike that not all the problem options are accurate in AppWork. This can be frustrating as it limits the ability to accurately categorize the issues being reported. I have been using AppWork for the last six months to manage maintenance team work orders and other necessary reports for American Landmark, and I find it incredibly effective. I love that it simplifies everything related to work orders and reporting, making daily, monthly, and biannual tasks much more manageable. Another feature that stands out is its user-friendliness; my teams at both Solei on West Thomas and Citrine on 67th absolutely love using the application. Having everything accessible in one location on our cell phones significantly enhances usability and convenience. Additionally, I appreciated the very easy initial setup process, which made integrating AppWork into our routine smooth and straightforward. Additionally, the customer service provided by AppWork is exemplary, with a team that is not only responsive but also continuously working on improving the software with regular updates. I particularly value the reporting capabilities as they allow me as an executive to easily track and monitor the activities of our maintenance teams. The seamless integration with other tools like Yardi further enhances its utility. The initial setup was remarkably straightforward and painless. What do you like best about AppWork?

I like how user-friendly AppWork is for my employees, including both maintenance technicians and office administrators. This ease of use significantly contributes to efficient day-to-day operations. I have found the ability to communicate creation, hold, and completion notes to the residents all through the app to be extremely helpful in maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction. The app sends notifications to residents for any new work orders as well as updates on the status of existing ones. This feature has been pivotal in reducing miscommunication and providing residents with immediate, up-to-date information without the need to call the office, wait for office staff to contact maintenance, and then relay information back. Additionally, the initial setup of AppWork was very easy, which facilitated a smooth transition from our previous product. I also thoroughly enjoy the responsiveness of the AppWork team, which adds to the product's overall reliability and efficacy in supporting our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppWork?

I understand that the AI is learning, but every time a resident puts in a request for pest control, it autocorrects it to Roaches. This has caused multiple issues with pest control spraying for roaches instead of wasps, spiders, beetles, etc. Make ready calendar could use some improvement. I schedule in advance, and it populates to my technician same day. This has now flooded his task list with over 30 tasks that do not have the date that I listed on the make ready board. I wish there was a 'Scheduled for this date' option for the technicians to view. I wish there was an ability to add technicians to inspections. I don't know a lot about how the point system works, but it feels that the same 2 people are at the top each month when my techs have a high number of points and are not listed on the leaderboard. The support team typically responds to my issues in less than 24 hours and offers weekly Huddleston sessions for our company, providing timely and multidimensional support.
