It is easy to use, has way more features than one can even think to use. We are easily able to export reports of the software and integrate them directly into other required reports as needed. The customer support staff and hours they are available meet our needs. Our team at our company use the software daily as they interact with owners, tenants & vendors alike. One of the great features in Rent Manager is the capability of sending emails directly out of the database and off to anyone and everyone who needs information. The fact that it logs these emails and then is visble later on the record is invaluable to our team. **What do you dislike about Rent Manager?** There are times, few and far between, that we run into something that we think the software should be able to do easily and then come to realize that it is not the case. It is a suggestion they are avaulating, but has not been implemented yet. So while there are so many things the software can do, more things than we need, every once in awhile we need to wait on something to be implemented in an update. **What problems is Rent Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** For us, Rent Manager is encompassing every aspect of rental management. From tracking accounts receivables, to making accounts payable payments. From communicating with owners, tenants & vendors to tracking lease start & end dates. The support is fantastic, and it is quite affordable. The software has specific handling for Commercial, unlike most other software that either doesn't handle Commercial or does so very poorly. **What do you dislike about Rent Manager?** There are limitations to what you can customize, I hope in the future, they open up the few things that you must use their out-of-the-box creations (dashboard tiles for instance) and while you can create your own custom tabs, I would prefer to use the standard tabs and be able to tailor those to my needs rather than starting from scratch. Maybe someday....they did listen to my complaints about this :) **What problems is Rent Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** Through RentManager, we are gaining efficiencies in our leasing processes in that we can tailor the system to our needs and our workflows. But today I needed them for advice about our taxes and they are so well-trained, that the answer was immediately forthcoming. I've never called them for help or advice without their support people knowing EXACTLY how to help! The software is user-friendly, and if one has a question, the support team cannot be beaten! I call Rent Manager about once a month and they've helped me with accounting features, upload management, disappearing infromation and more. The program is easy to learn and easy to use. **What do you dislike about Rent Manager?** I cannot think of any drawbacks to Rent Manager unless it's an expensive program. At one point we managed nearly 200 properties, and now are down to just a few. RM is one thing I am not willing to give up even though we just use for a few properties. For property managment, there is nothing better. I use QB daily for another business and I greatly prefer RM's features, speed, and user interface to QB. Being able to print checks with MICR numbers using one generic check stock is very helpful. We have several bank accounts so we only have to keep on hand blank checks and the software will print the account numbers on it for the cooresponding account. I use the customer service all the time and they are great. Even with very commplicated accoutning issues, they know there stuff and help get it fixed. There was a learning curve since it is pretty unique in terms of features but they do offer training and an online portal of videos on every subject. The customer support is able to screen shadow you as well which is very helpful. **What do you dislike about Rent Manager?** This is not really a downside, but it is incredible robust in terms of features. Sometimes its hard to know how to do something, but I usually figure it out or customer service will walk me through it. The only real occasional negative is the Apple mac intefaces. Its a few extra programs that have to be installed to download to your local machine or to print.
