What do you like best about ButterflyMX?

Easy to administer. Seamless integration with our building elevator (for unlocking / locking our floor.) Great customer support. I'm glad we decided to go with ButterflyMX versus Latch or an old school solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ButterflyMX?

Not to be the design snob, but I wish the app / intercom interface and intercom hardware were a bit more minimal and sleek. I wish we could use NFC to tap and open the door (versus opening the app.) I also wish Butterfly had a more seamless app solution when a user has more than one ButterflyMX property (I use it at my apartment and office, which means I need to switch the profile on the app before visiting each.) Also on the wish list: higher-rez pics of door releases; ability to configure the intercom to record video (not just when there's a door release.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ButterflyMX?

The ButterflyMX video intercom system is amazing. It has made access control at our multifamily property simple and convenient. I'm on the board of a 33-unit condo building in California. We were introduced to ButterflyMX by an apartment building down the street that recently had it installed. Our old building intercom system wasn't cutting it anymore — we couldn't see who was at the entryway, which caused security issues. And whenever we wanted to update the access permissions, our maintenance person would have to come down to the building and make the changes. It was a waste of time and money.

Since we switched to ButterflyMX, we can now see who we're letting into our building and issue visitors temporary access right from our smartphones. We can also review property entry logs and adjust access permissions from an online account. Since we installed this video intercom, we no longer worry about letting in unwanted people or missing deliveries. And if we ever have questions about using the system or setting up new features, their support team is incredibly responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ButterflyMX?

We'd like for them to release more products. We have other doors and gates at our property that we'd like to manage and access through ButterflyMX. Our customer success manager told us they would be coming out soon, but we can't wait! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ButterflyMX?

The ButterflyMX video intercom is easy to use and offers a simple, intuitive interface that residents can easily navigate. The system allows residents to remotely control access to their building from their mobile device, which is particularly useful for residents who are not home or are expecting guests. The ButterflyMX video intercom system features a high-definition camera and two-way audio communication, enabling residents to visually and audibly verify guests before granting them access. What do you dislike about ButterflyMX?

The ButterflyMX video intercom system requires a stable internet connection in order to function properly. In the event of an internet outage, the system may not work as intended. The cost of the ButterflyMX system may be prohibitive for some building owners or residents, particularly for older buildings that require significant retrofitting. What do you like best about ButterflyMX?

I like how I can get into my apartment complex using my phone and not having to worry about having my key fob. I also like how I can let guests in the building no matter where I'm located. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't need to bring a physical key, and burrerflyMX could help me unlock the door. If I have a delivery person from ups or Fedex, I can unlock the door for them remotely no need to go downstairs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The new interface is a little bit ugly, but the old one looks better than now.

every time I open and close the door of my living place

it is very easy specially when you are lifting a lot of things (food) or shopping stuff.
