Seamless integration with our building elevator (for unlocking / locking our floor.) Great customer support. I'm glad we decided to go with ButterflyMX versus Latch or an old school solution. **What do you dislike about ButterflyMX?** Not to be the design snob, but I wish the app / intercom interface and intercom hardware were a bit more minimal and sleek. I wish we could use NFC to tap and open the door (versus opening the app.) I also wish Butterfly had a more seamless app solution when a user has more than one ButterflyMX property (I use it at my apartment and office, which means I need to switch the profile on the app before visiting each.) Also on the wish list: higher-rez pics of door releases; ability to configure the intercom to record video (not just when there's a door release.) **What problems is ButterflyMX solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ButterflyMX solution means we don't need to staff a full-time greeter at our office. It also allows for tighter security by allowing who has access when and tracking usage. ### 3. It has made access control at our multifamily property simple and convenient. I'm on the board of a 33-unit condo building in California. We were introduced to ButterflyMX by an apartment building down the street that recently had it installed. Our old building intercom system wasn't cutting it anymore — we couldn't see who was at the entryway, which caused security issues. And whenever we wanted to update the access permissions, our maintenance person would have to come down to the building and make the changes. It was a waste of time and money. Since we switched to ButterflyMX, we can now see who we're letting into our building and issue visitors temporary access right from our smartphones. We can also review property entry logs and adjust access permissions from an online account. Since we installed this video intercom, we no longer worry about letting in unwanted people or missing deliveries. And if we ever have questions about using the system or setting up new features, their support team is incredibly responsive and helpful. **What do you dislike about ButterflyMX?** We'd like for them to release more products. We have other doors and gates at our property that we'd like to manage and access through ButterflyMX. Our customer success manager told us they would be coming out soon, but we can't wait! **What problems is ButterflyMX solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's solving for access control at our condo building. We can now see and manage access to our property from our smartphones, so we no longer need to hand out keys & fobs. It has also helped us streamline deliveries into our building because we can issue one-time delivery PINs or receive video calls no matter where we may be. ### 4. As well, our account only allows for one number to reached when we have guests. **What problems is ButterflyMX solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is an excellent way to receive guests and clients at our large warehouse with several other businesses on the premises. ### 7. People are able to open the front door to guests they know are coming up but also able to see who tried to access the front door. They can also set up virtual keys for people that they trust. **What do you dislike about ButterflyMX?** While ButterflyMX is a great product with very useful features, it is difficult to navigate the front panel for people that do not understand how to use ButterflyMX. **What problems is ButterflyMX solving and how is that benefiting you?** People are able to create temporary virtual keys for visitors and open the main door for guests from the comfort of my apartment.
