**What do you like best about Zego?**

I really like how Zego saves us a considerable amount of time and reduces the chances of input errors. This efficiency allows our managers to avoid manually entering payments, which often leads to errors, such as placing payments into the wrong account. With Zego, payments automatically go to the right account, making the process seamless and very easy. This automation grants us more time to focus on interacting face-to-face with our residents instead of being consumed by payment entry tasks. In addition to that, the setup process of Zego was incredibly straightforward due to their step-by-step guidance, making it super easy for us to get started. I also appreciate how Zego has improved its support service over time, addressing previous concerns about response times. Now, I'm very happy with the service they provide. Lastly, Zego's integration with our Rent Manager software works very well, complementing our operational needs. Overall, I am highly satisfied and would recommend Zego without hesitation.

I really just don’t have any complaints! They are doing great!

I use Zego to automatically process payments, significantly reducing delinquency and saving time. It prevents input errors and ensures correct account allocation, allowing us to focus on residents rather than manual data entry.

**What do you like best about Zego?**

Their funding is vary timely, usually a day or two.

**What do you dislike about Zego?**

The user interface is very limited and confusing. If you use Zego frequently and want to add new bank accounts or properties, the process becomes overwhelming and unnecessarily complicated. Rather than providing a straightforward way to add a property or bank account, the system requires you to upload an Excel sheet—which isn’t even available on the user portal. You have to either save the file yourself or request it each time. After that, you’re left waiting an uncertain amount of time for someone to manually add your bank information to your Zego account.

Overall, the entire Zego interface feels outdated, like a system from the early 2000s that no one has bothered to modernize.

The process involves collecting payments and depositing them into the designated bank account, while simultaneously recording each payment for the tenant.

**What do you like best about Zego?**

I like Zego for the convenience it provides to tenants, allowing them to pay online instead of dropping off. I also appreciate that the fees are easy on the pockets for us and our residents. It's quick, easy, and affordable, and the setup was very easy for my team.

**What do you dislike about Zego?**

I would have said it all works well except I just had an issue, and it's not resolved yet. It used to take only a few hours and now it's almost a week for them to be resolved. Resolving money issues should not take a week. Maybe these issues need to be prioritized instead of putting them in order.

**What problems is Zego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Zego for property management. It allows tenants to pay online, which is convenient and avoids drop-offs. Zego is quick, easy, affordable, and its fees are budget-friendly for both us and our residents.

We are a small non-profit who continues to expand without hiring new staff. Using zego helped to reduce the foot traffic in the office and helped keep tenants honest about when payments were made and how can offer moe payment options. The deposits are automatic and accurate saving me time as well.

I want to be able to set up autopay for the tenant but seems we are unable to so.

Less foot traffic to the office allows more time for staff to be more productive without feeling overwhelmed during a company growth spurt.

The graphs and charts in Zego are easy to read, which helps me keep better track of my residents' utility usage. I also really appreciate being able to reach out through chat directly on the website—it’s a great feature.

So far, I have enjoyed everything about Zego's program that I have explored. I'm looking forward to discovering everything else Zego has to offer.

**What do you like best about Zego?**

Zego is integrated with our Rent Manager software so there is not conflicting information for resident billings or payments.  It is easy to use.  The knowledge base articles and the how to videos have helped our community managers to learn a little bit at a time.  This is helpful so new managers are not overwhelmed with too much information at once. Anytime we need help from Zego, their support team is quick to respond and resolve things for us.  We use it everyday and rarely encounter hiccups.

**What do you dislike about Zego?**

I have not come across anything negative with the Zego suite.  All of it is great for us!

**What problems is Zego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Real time results for payments and billings eliminates delays.  This is great for our residents and property managers so they have current information..

Having the hand-off collection of rents each month so I can focus on other areas and get them running smoother. Zego has been a life changer with rent collections. Our company doesn't to worry about adding late fees to the tenants' accounts because it is an internal feature processed through the program.

**What do you dislike about Zego?**

Not that it's Zego's fault, but with the first time rent collection we had multiple tenants ask why their funds had not been taken from their accounts or that they were in pending mode. They thought the funds come directly out on the day they hit their accounts.

The tenants had gotten to where they were paying anytime, they wanted, and we needed to get that under control.

**What do you like best about Zego?**

ZEGO is a time saving tool that makes it easy to communicate with tenants through the chat function. Great tool for sending bills, payment reminders and account balances. The digital tools are wonderful, and there is always help available if you need it. Easy to understand graphs that help me keep track of resident's utility use. It is also a nice way to access NSF information.

I haven't come across anything negative lately while using ZEGO. It has been an all-around helpful tool.

**What problems is Zego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zego has streamlined our billing process immensely. Rental payments are easy to make without having to come into the leasing office with check or money order.

How easy it is to use even with all the features offered. The digital tools offered improves data access, collaboration and revenue, but if you get stuck Customer support is always available and always helpful and friendly

**What do you dislike about Zego?**

There are some months with a delay when residents receive their bill and the charges are not current because the statement was sent out prior to the resident making a payment, which is not at the fault of zego. as an example, residents will make at payment at 10 am then receive their statement that afternoon by 2pm and complain of their payment not reflecting 
I understand in this state it is mandatory to ensure residents receive statements however, it causes more unnecessary issues

Accuracy in third party billing

Removed the unnecessary stress and created additional free time to focus on other urgent issues

**What do you like best about Zego?**

An amazing product offering customers the time-saving ability to make payments & manage their accounts online. It works seamlessly with Rent Manager & allows payments to be processed in-house as well, for those customers that prefer talking to a person, or aren’t as comfortable with online technology. Customer support is always fast & helpful, when needed. And new products & features are being offered all the time.

**What do you dislike about Zego?**

There’s not much to dislike. There have been a few instances of payments showing as being declined because of an error, but then a customer will call back later with evidence that the payment did go through. But Zego has always been fast & helpful in tracking the payment down & getting it refunded in a timely manner.

**What problems is Zego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows customers to pay online at their convenience at anytime. It also allows them to setup their own Auto Pay & make changes when needed. This increases timely payments & lessens the amount of collections that need to be pursued.

**What do you like best about Zego?**

We use Zego mobile doorman at the property I am at and it's great to remove the burden of manually scheduling clubroom reservations, guest suites, and other items. allowing residents to self-schedule items while still being able to track which charges we need to apply for rooms makes it an easier process.
Making it so that there was only 1 mobile doorman in the app store, instead of different companies' "versions" makes it easy to integrate with our Yardi system and not struggle to log in.

**What do you dislike about Zego?**

We had to turn on "request to reserve" because we weren't receiving notifications of reservations being made, which meant we didn't know when to apply charges for rooms and whatnot. It seems like now residents are having trouble making any reservations, which is putting the burden back on the already small onsite team.
There has been an increase in difficulties with logging into the portal, which requires IT tickets. The turn-around time has not been the quickest, which is needed in a high-demand environment like property management.

**What problems is Zego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zego is helping remove burdens from the onsite team that involve room reservations (clubroom, guest suite), loading zone/loading elevator reservations, and guest parking. The calendar format makes it easy to track without having to create our own calendar with the risk of user error when creating and managing events and reservations.

I appreciate that the utility billing is handled by Zego so I do not have to add it to my list of many things to do! They have very good response time to questions/issues.

It has created a little confusion with residents. The onboarding process for me personally went well, but it would have helped to have some onboarding information that was presented to residents. Some of them are still confused why they receive what they perceive to be a paper bill when it's just their statement as the payments are integrated into our property management software.

ZEGO is definitely a win/win for landlords and tenants alike. It is such an easy no hassle way for tenants to make payments. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

I don't believe that there are any downsides to using ZEGO. We have had a lot of success with it.

**What problems is Zego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ZEGO is solving the guess work for tenants on where to pay their bill with an easy online tool. It reminds them to pay their rent on time and lets them access how much they owe. This makes the non-payments decrease by a noticeable amount each month.

I love the way it allows for online payments and less hassle with the checks or money orders. With Zego it's just a click away and you paid your rent simple as that,

You have to call them first to get account number for you to setup the online account.

No more waiting on checks to clear or dealing with delinquent rent. With Zego you give the tenants the incentive to want to pay their rent on time with the boost it gives to your credit score.

**What do you dislike about Zego?**

Unfortunately when residents use Zego through their checking account, we do have several that do NSF every month because the resident assumes once they enter their information for payment, its a done deal.  What they don't realize is it takes as long as processing a check would to clear, thus resulting sometimes in NSFs.

Getting our NSF information and deposit information quickly!

**What do you like best about Zego?**

The integration between Zego and Rent Manager is a game changer when it comes to tenant payments.  We have a high volume of units, and the tenant web access portal/Zego integration has saved us so much time processing physical check payments.  Even the specific scanner to process any checks directly into a tenant ledger/record has contributed to more efficient workflows.

**What do you dislike about Zego?**

We have integrated the option of a lockbox as well, and we have not been as satisfied with how payments are decisioned on the Zego side.  There are a lot of inconsistancies with how payments are approved/rejected by the Zego/Check + Alt team each month.  This is frustrating and slows down the process.  We also wish there was a way to use the Zego check scanner to deposit miscellaneous checks (not attached to a tenant ledger).  We'd like to be able to eliminate our bank specific check scanners by using the Zego scanner to deposit any checks to be recorded directly to the deposit table, and we can create our journals as needed to report back to the bank register/GL.

No longer have to process 100s of checks in office - electronic payments are now streamlined with reporting directly integrated into our accounting/tennat ledger reporting.

**What do you like best about Zego?**

Working with student housing it helps having a platform that intergrates well with our resident portal for residents and guarantors to submit payments. They have good support, and are coming out with a range of other services that could enhance the resident experience.

**What do you dislike about Zego?**

It would be great if reminder emails that Zego sends out were customizable to where we could direct residents to our resident portal, as opposed to the ZEGO reminders directing residents outside of the portal.

**What problems is Zego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zego is coming out with new features that could make it a versatile tool, among those are a work order management system, which could be great for helping our residents and maintenance team with tracking and responding to work orders.

I love Zego because it frees up my time to work on other things.

I don't have any dislikes.  I am quickly informed of payments or NSFs.

**What problems is Zego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have about 400 tenants. Right now about 30% process their payment directly through Zego.  Now we are going to start letting Zego process the checks and money orders we scan in ... so no more trips to the bank.

Fast responses to issues, thorough customer support team, spooky smart analytics.

**What do you dislike about Zego?**

High service charges on one-time payments get a lot of complaints. I know the goal is to redirect customers to Auto-pay methods to save money. Not always practical depending on the nature of business transaction. Difficult for parents who don't always have access to portal. Tons of confusion but thankfully, we are able to take money orders on occassion. Several nasty phone calls related to limited options on making payments when having difficulty navigating the payment options. SHOULD be obvious, but they struggle. Lastly, there seems to be a substantial amount of duplicate auto-pays that can draft simultaneously. Not sure if you already have this, but if possible, please alert residents/guarantors when they already have an existing auto-pay and set up a new one. Could avoid lots of service tickets for void/refund. Truly, not much to complain about for you guys. Awesome work all the way around.

Allows residents to make payments without coming into the office, bringing multiple checks or money orders throughout the day and running several payment batches damn near hourly. Allows residents to make payments after hours, over weekends, holidays, in bulk, for specified amounts, and at their own convenience.

It's super helpful being able to see almost everything in one place. That said, there's definitely some room to improve the experience with end users in mind.

Communication tends to be on the slower side, with a 48-hour response time often considered quick. There's definitely room for improvement here.

Zego has allowed our building to be a true community with the resident bulletin board, while also allowing us to assist our residents in a quick and timely manner. Residents love communicating with our concierge team 24/7 with the chat feature as well as reserving amenities. Everything is in one centralzied place allowing residents to find what they need with ease. Overall we have been realy satisfied with both the app and integration process.

**What do you dislike about Zego?**

I do wish there was a way to reserve amenities a lot quicker, if there was an approve button or if it was just a little more user friendly from a staff perspective as well as post a charge for the event to the residents portal. Not sure if this is possible but would be cool.

**What problems is Zego solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zego has helped solve a number of problems like how amny systems we use, it was hard to just have them all scattered but Zego has allowed us to have everything in one place allowing residents to find what they need quickly and to avoid confusion.

**What do you like best about Zego?**

There are many benefits to the zego family of products, the level of integration with leading PMS companies is a large one. We have been clients of Zego's Paylease platform since 2013 and their Mobile Doorman platform since 2017, the growth and advancements to their products have been wonderful. They continue to expand the integrations into more areas and subsequently support more API's making for a more cohesive experience for our teams and residents.

**What do you dislike about Zego?**

As with most third-party solutions (those not directly connected to our core software), there are items that must be managed from outside the core solution. If one is not well versed in how systems should be communicating, things can be missed.

**Recommendations to others considering Zego:**

There are multiple areas where Zego's solutions have benefitted. By far my favorite program Zego offers is Mobiledoorman. This was a game-changer for us, this product allowed us to drop multiple other under-performing products and focus our resident communication and to an extent bolster our retention via their interface. The UX is white label so each of our communities are individually branded yet user experience is mirrored across our portfolio. This is very valuable when staff moves from asset to asset.

Less foot traffic in the office due to it mnimizing the need for tenants to use money orders as form of payment. Less risk of theft or lost money orders. Customer support responds quickly and the setup process was a breeze. This service is used multiple times a week with our tenants and sends us daily updates.

**What do you like best about Zego?**

Zego allows for quick payments from residents. This is useful when we have over 2000 people paying rent a month. Zego also post directly to our financial system which is very helpful. The website is very simple to use and allows for quick block, refund, etc. There are so many option with Zego, rather you use them all or not, this system is very useful. Customer support is always avilable and allows for you to ask any questions you need.

**What do you dislike about Zego?**

Zego is great for the most part. There are a couple issues when it comes to posting in our system, sometimes the dates at the end of the month are incorrect or the accounts are incorrect but its a super easy fix.

Zego allows for residents pay online which allows for our onsite managers to spend more time assisting residents directly with their needs.

We use Zego for processing resident payments, which allows our customers to use a variety of payment methods we would not otherwise be able to accept.  Zego integrates with our management software and automatically updates the resident's account.

Zego Customer service is very responsive and has guided us through some integration issues.

Users sometimes forget to turn off their automatic payments.  But Zego has implemented the refund button so that has become easier to correct.

I appreciate that Zego expedites our cases to upper tier support reps. We pride ourselves on doing due diligence before submitting a case and appreciate interacting with agents that can speak our language.

There's been a great amount of changes in Zego's leadership and for that, the vision of the company keeps changing. We already have our growing pains as a company, we don't need to feel those of our partner.

Zego used to solve a lot of our rental payment issues. As of today, the new UI launched this year has caused several more problems. There isn't enough confirmation for the payee or user and duplicate payments are being made and we are not being heard about this.

Being able to take cash transactions at a local store and convert them to "online" payments. Being able to get rid of paper checks and money orders has saved our CMs so much time throughout their day. Especially at the begining of the month. Residents are able to complete with ease.

The check freepay agents can sometimes get in the way, we've had some trouble at Walmarts in the South. Getting their teams re-training can be tough.

**What do you like best about Zego?**

It is very user friendly and the most important feature is that have minimal errors. Love the interaction with our ERP, the intregation is very smooth.

**What do you dislike about Zego?**

I would love to know more about features and training to make sure we are taking advantege of all the features.
