If you are using free plan of the software then it is not customisable at all. Also, if you face any bug while maintaining all the to do list then their support team is also very unresponsive. As an instructional designer for neurodivergent college students, what I love most about Synthesia is how fast, accessible, and inclusive it makes video creation. We use it to create short, engaging introductory videos—or "hooks"—that get students excited about each topic. The diverse, age-relevant avatars are a huge hit with our students. They feel seen and represented, which makes learning more relatable and inviting.

From my perspective, the efficiency is unmatched. I can pair AI-assisted scriptwriting with Synthesia’s tools to control tone, pitch, speed, background music, and more—producing polished videos in record time. It’s an all-in-one solution that saves us from having to coordinate with videographers, voice actors, or studios.

I also love the multilingual support. The ability to generate transcripts and closed captions in multiple languages ensures accessibility for our international students. What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

What I like most about Microsoft Outlook is that it puts everything in one place: email, calendar, appointments, and contacts. You don't have to jump from one app to another, and that's something that saves a lot of time.

I also like that it's very organized: emails are easy to read, you quickly find what you're looking for, and you don't have that feeling of chaos that other mailboxes sometimes give.

Another convenient thing is the integrated calendar: just one click and you see all the appointments, meetings, and deadlines, without having to open anything extra.

What I don't like about Outlook, using it every day for work, is that sometimes it becomes really slow. When you have many emails to manage or need to switch from one calendar to another, it always seems to take that extra second... and when you're under pressure, you definitely notice it.

Another aspect is that it's full of features, but not all of them are intuitive. When you just need to do something simple, you always end up wasting time searching through menus and settings that aren't exactly straightforward.

And, honestly, the interface is a bit rigid. It does its job, sure, but it's not exactly the freshest or most convenient thing to use every day.

With emails, the calendar, and appointments all together in the same place, you no longer have to jump between different apps or get confused.

For me, the biggest benefit is that it organizes your day much more clearly: you immediately see what you need to do, who has written to you, when you have meetings, and what needs to be prepared. Everything is connected, so if you receive a meeting invitation, with one click it ends up in the calendar and you don't risk forgetting it.

It also helps you keep emails under control: you can archive, quickly search for what you need, and have a sense of order instead of total chaos in your inbox.

What do you like best about Matter?

I was skeptical at first because we've had other tools that nobody ended up using. Matters analytics dashboard shows who's participating and who isn't, which helps when you're trying to understand whether something is actually working or just creating noise. Having a record of recognition throughout the year makes performance discussions more substantive. I can see patterns in what people value about each other's work, which is more interesting than I expected. The surveys feature is straightforward enough that people actually fill them out. The quality of feedback improved. People write more specific recognition instead of generic thank yous. I've seen collaboration between departments that normally don't interact much, especially when someone from another team helps with data interpretation or methodology questions. I really enjoyed the UI front of Leapsome. It's super easy to use, modern, and not overbearing. It encourages employees to put in effort and write thoughtful reviews. The built-in AI tool is amazing, prompting employees to give their best feedback without having to write a whole novel. It guides the structure of reviews effectively. What do you dislike about Leapsome?

The flow of finding the reviews was not as obvious. I think we had a lot of people who didn't know where to find their actual review. I think there's simplicity that could be added to the flow or the summary pages to help people find their reviews, because I thought it was kind of confusing to, like, click a few paces. The product is fairly easy to use for almost all things we want to do with it. Support is phenomenal for all the things that are not easy or straightforward. We use it daily to make business decisions. The new AI features make it even faster for us to derive information and it even helps find items we were not currently observing.
