"Flexible, Behavior-Triggered In App Experiences with Strong Targeting"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

Userpilot gives our team the flexibility to build and manage in-app experiences without depending on engineering. Creating tooltips, walkthroughs, announcements, and surveys is fast once you understand the flow builder, and the targeting options are very strong.I especially like how experiences can be triggered based on real user behavior, which helps us guide users at the right moment instead of overwhelming them. The insights and usage data are also helpful for understanding how users interact with key features and where onboarding can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

While the platform is powerful, some areas take time to get used to, particularly when building more complex flows or segments. Reporting could be more customizable, and additional pre built templates would make initial setup faster for new use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless In-App Messaging with Intuitive Insights"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

We currently use Userpilot for mainly in-app messaging (tooltips, modals, etc) in-app surveys and NPS. The UI is very easy to use, so that also eliminates the need for development to step in. Last, the insights portion is nice and very intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

There's a decent learning curve with this where it's not necessarily with other products like this, so ease of use could be better. Some of the workflows previews can also show differently when live, so that can be a bit frustrating. However, connecting with the CSM is usually easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful No-Code Onboarding with Smart Segmentation & Targeting"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

Userpilot makes it possible to design and launch in-app onboarding, feature guidance, and surveys without waiting on engineering resources. The no-code builder is intuitive enough to move quickly, yet powerful enough to support targeted, behavior-based experiences. What stands out most is the segmentation and targeting. We can show the right message to the right user based on role, behavior, or lifecycle stage, which makes onboarding feel relevant instead of generic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

There’s also a bit of a learning curve when building more detailed flows, and additional ready-made templates would help speed things up. These aren’t blockers, but areas where the platform could continue to improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Onboarding with Powerful Targeting"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

I really like how easy Userpilot makes it to create enough experience without relying on developers, which means I can design onboarding flows or choose specific features quickly. I appreciate the targeting and segmentation options, allowing us to deliver different experiences to various user groups. On top of that, the analytics provide insights into our user interface, showing which flows are most effective. The setup was also fairly straightforward, and we quickly launched our first onboarding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

Some reporting and analyzing options feel limited. Having more pre-made templates would speed up the setup. These are minor challenges, but I think they could make the platform more effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Insights and Outstanding Support with Powerful AI Features"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

The product is fairly easy to use for almost all things we want to do with it. Support is phenomenal for all the things that are not easy or straightforward. We use it daily to make business decisions. The new AI features make it even faster for us to derive information and it even helps find items we were not currently observing. Our developers had the product providing data from our system to our Staging instance the day we signed up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

Engagement features are awesome once implemented, but there is a learning curve. Also, if you have a larger application and you wish to make engagements for various processes, be prepared to dedicate man hours for a full compliment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless In-App Guidance with Precise Targeting"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

I love that Userpilot allows me to create tooltips, banners, checklists, and modals without needing engineering help, which empowers my team to launch in-app guidance quickly. I really appreciate the precise targeting feature, as it lets me tailor messages and guidance based on user actions, attributes, and lifecycle stage, ensuring users receive relevant and timely interactions, not generic pop-ups. The installation was straightforward and quick, enabling us to start building in-app experiences immediately. Additionally, Userpilot offers much better control over behavior-based and lifecycle targeting than our previous solutions, which has significantly improved the relevance of our tours and modals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

I find the limited design customization without CSS a bit restrictive. While the UI is clean, deep customization like exact positioning, advanced styling, and animations require using custom CSS. I think more native styling controls in the editor would help teams match their brand without extra effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful No-Code Onboarding with Smart Targeting and Helpful Analytics"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

serpilot makes it easy to design and deliver in-app experiences without relying on developers, which allows me to quickly create onboarding flows and highlight specific features. The no-code flow builder, contextual tooltips, and product tours are intuitive and flexible, making it simple to customize experiences as product needs evolve.

I particularly value the targeting and segmentation capabilities, which let us tailor experiences for different user groups and make onboarding feel more personalized. The analytics are also helpful, providing clear insights into how users interact with the interface and which flows are most effective.

Setup was straightforward, and we were able to launch our first onboarding experience quickly with minimal developer involvement. The customer support team is also excellent—they are responsive and always available to help with questions or clarifications. Overall, I find Userpilot both powerful and user-friendly and would rate it a 10 out of 10. I would confidently recommend this tool over others available in the market today. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

While Userpilot is generally easy to use and powerful, there are times when more advanced customization options would be helpful, particularly for fine-tuning the design and behavior of complex flows. Some analytics and reporting views can also feel limited when trying to answer more detailed questions about user behavior, which occasionally requires additional manual analysis. That said, these are relatively minor compared to the overall value the tool provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Onboarding with Customization"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

I use Userpilot primarily for educational and onboarding emails. It helps me guide users through features step by step, share helpful tips at the right time, and improve engagement with learning-focused email flows. What I like most about Userpilot is how easy it is to create personalized, behavior-based onboarding and educational experiences without needing technical help. The ability to trigger emails and in-app guidance based on user actions makes the learning journey feel timely and relevant. Userpilot's integration with product analytics and CRM systems helps me align user behavior data with educational email campaigns. The initial setup was fairly smooth and straightforward, with basic onboarding flows and educational emails being easy to configure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

Some advanced customization options can feel limited when trying to fine-tune complex email designs or highly specific user segments. There's also a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, as the platform offers many features that can take time to fully understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Onboarding with Powerful No-Code Tools"
What do you like best about Userpilot?

I really like how easy it is to build and customize in-app experiences with Userpilot without needing developer involvement. The no-code flow builder, contextual tooltips, and product tours make it simple to onboard users and highlight new features. I appreciate the segmentation and targeting options, which make the experience feel personalized. I also value that I can quickly create targeted in-app guidance without relying on developers, saving time and effort. The initial setup was straightforward and quick, enabling us to launch our first app experience without much developer effort. Finally, I find Userpilot powerful and user-friendly, rating it a 9 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

Some advanced customization and analytics can feel a bit limited compared to more technical tools, and there is a learning curve when setting up complex flows. Improving reporting flexibility and offering more ready-made templates would make the experience better. The learning curves mainly come from setting up more complex flows, advanced segmentation, and analytics, which could benefit from clearer in-app guidance or walkthroughs. More customizable reports, deeper analytics, and additional pre-built-in templates for common use cases can reduce the time for setting up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
