What do you like best about SurveyMars?

What i like best about surveymars is its ability to transform abstract communication goals into hard, actionable data. At a firm like Makovsky, our value is shaping narratives and influencing perception. Surveymars gives us the empirical evidence to back up our strategies. The platform is incredibly intuitive, allowing us to design sophisticated audience perception surveys and sentiment polls in minutes, not hours. The real time dashboard is a game changer- we can now show clients measurables shifts in brand awareness or sentiment during a campaign, not just guess at the impact. What do you dislike about SurveyMars?

The one area for improvement would be in deeper native integration with major media monitoring and social listening platforms. While data export is easy, having a more seamless, two way flow of data between surveymars and our existing monitoring dashboards would create a single source of truth and save a few steps in our workflow. What do you like best about SurveyMars?

What I like best is the sheer power and generosity of the platform, especially for a free tool.

SurveyMars is the only survey platform I have seen that offers advanced market research question types like MaxDiff Analysis and Van Westendorp PSM (Price Sensitivity Meter) without making you upgrade.

The unlimited replies and unlimited queries are also non-negotiable for us. Rest assured, you won’t have to prematurely cut off a critical customer satisfaction survey. What do you like best about SurveyMars?

SurveyMars allows us to collect patient feedback every time we roll out a new service or update. What I like best is how easy it is for patients to complete surveys directly from their phones. Many of our clinics used to rely on paper forms that were hard to track. Now everything goes into one dashboard, and the unlimited responses let us run surveys continuously without worrying about cost. What do you like best about SurveyMars?

At Everlane, we are transparent and our customers' trust is everything to us. We use SurveyMars very strategically: to collect quick, post-purchase feedback around product launches and our new “Radical Transparency” features. For instance, when we launched our new Responsible Swimwear line, we sent a SurveyMars link to customers who had bought a piece from that collection two weeks earlier. The aim was to learn not only about fit and quality but also about how they perceived the new sustainability messaging on the product page. Gilappo has been able to deploy a survey at the “drop of a hat” response – and see how people are feeling, in real time. The very clean, stark design of the surveys fits in well with our minimalistic brand which feels intentional to our customers. What do you dislike about SurveyMars?

The downside is that it doesn't have a super deep CRM (we use Klaviyo) and analytics stack out of the box as my marketing team needs. We have to manually export the CSV of responses, VLOOKUP the survey feedback back to customer lifetime value and purchase history (which creates a ton of extra work for our data analyst). Great for honesty (haven’t had many non-zero responses on the other end where we see a possible “problem” Customer Segments, which doesn’t necessarily correspond to feedback on features or parts of the workflow itself) However, sometimes I wish there was an optional, secure way to know which customer segment gave a particular glowing piece of feedback, so you could potentially ask them for a public testimonial. What do you like best about SurveyMars?

For Animalz, our value is entirely derived from writing for a highly technical B2B SaaS audience. Here's how we've embedded SurveyMars into our client onboarding and strategy system in a quite specific and targeted manner: we use it to run "topic validation" polls. Before we commit to a big content pillar for a client, we’ll sketch out three possible angles and value propositions, and survey a small focused group from the client’s customer advisory board or abseiling of their newsletter list via SurveyMars. It’s the speed and simplicity that are key here; we’re able to get a quantitative read on which story has the most engagement potential without needing to spend days in market research mode. The clean, unbranded interface reduces bias and gives the feeling of a true survey at tick-box questions, not just some marketing agency coming to ask what they want (part of the reason also why it has such high response rates among senior technical audiences). What do you dislike about SurveyMars?

For our particular use case, lacking complex logic can be a downside. We often need to pose a qualifier question first, (“What is your primary job function?”). and then key respondents to a separate list of topic questions using their role. Basic skip logic is available but not as advanced and easy to create complex flow for segmenting an audience as in the paid platforms. Additionally, we have to manually export the data and analyze it ourselves in our decks if we are presenting a report for a client because their native reporting does not accomodate presentations at the C-suite level we are often reporting to. What do you like best about SurveyMars?

SurveyMars has made it much easier for us to understand what guests experience during their stay. We manage several boutique hotel locations, and gathering feedback consistently across all of them used to be a challenge. What I like most is how fast we can create and send surveys. The mobile-friendly layout is great because most guests complete the form from their phones while traveling. What do you like best about SurveyMars?

SurveyMars to collect impressions of its guests upon leaving the premises and simplicity of the platform is the key ingredient that makes it work. In a less than 10 minutes, a survey will be constructed to address the cleanliness, staff friendliness, and overall satisfaction. We like the fact that SurveyMars does not limit the amount of responses which is critical in high seasons of vacations. What do you like best about SurveyMars?

I deal with the physical side of retailing across our d rop-off locations. We adopted SurveyMars to supersede our previous comment card system. Now, we put up QR codes at the register that lead to a quick SurveyMars survey about their visit to the store that day. It’s all about the immediacy—we get feedback while the experience is still hot. I was skeptical that a free tool would be able to handle the volume we needed, but the unlimited responses have been perfect. The dashboard is in real time so me and my regional managers can check sentiment every day. For example, we can now know if a certain location is consistently scoring poorly in “staff helpfulness” or “wait time,” allowing us to provide targeted training intervention within days, not months. What do you dislike about SurveyMars?

The biggest barrier is that for brands like ours there is no sophisticated branding. I wish we could better white-label the survey with our Rent the Runway logo and color palette so it feels less like a random third-party tool and more like an extension of our service. Also the basic analytics are fine for my team's everyday use, but I need to manually pull together data across surveys into a separate presentation for our executive leadership team because there aren't advanced, cross-campaign reporting tools in the product. What do you like best about SurveyMars?

And when it comes to security, thehuman factor is usually the weakest. We have SurveyMars embedded directly into our program of security awareness as a rapid-response feedback loop. In particular, the week after we run our quarterly internal phishing simulation and training module, I have SurveyMars email a very brief anonymous survey to all staff. It's to see how they view the training, in other words do I get nothing but the buzzwords and it have nothing to do with me or my job, without the friction of a complex IT ticket or an audit trail. The simplicity of the platform is what makes it so powerful; employees are much more likely to finish a 3-question SurveyMars poll than they would ever be to complete a traditional survey, providing you with far higher - and often more honest - response rates. It lives in a completely separate SSO ecosystem (for anonymity) and it's totally free, which makes it a zero-overhead tool for my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SurveyMars?

From a security expert's point of view, the denial of data residency is worrying. Even though we wouldn't send any classified information, I'd still be uncomfortable using that for any survey I anyone could accidentally solicit feedback even vaguely related to security incidents… with no way to verify where response data gets stored/processed. It does not have audit logging: I cannot see a record of which IP accessed response data - this would be common requirement for our other security tools. What do you like best about SurveyMars?

In the hyper-competitive worlds of AIOps and infrastructure monitoring, hands down nothing is more important than validating feature adoption & satisfaction directly with our enterprise customers. I have for one recommended the use of SureyMars for that exact purpose. After we GA’d our new "Predictive Alerting" module my team and I committed to launching a short, focused SurveyMars poll to the first 50 enterprise who activated it. To me, the speed from idea to live was just insane — we had the survey up and gathering data within an hour of my request. The clean and professional look of the survey presented well on the LogicMonitor brand at this touchpoint, and that everyone could see responses in real-time gave me an immediate, high-level pulse on sentiment without having a formal report run from product. What do you dislike about SurveyMars?

The constraints of the platform are precisely what you’d hope for from a free tool at our scale. Not having any enterprise level features such as SSO (for authentication and security of respondents), or the ability to fully white-label the survey under our own domain works against this though for more formal / further reaching surveys. Moreover, while the basic analytics are great for a snapshot, I had to request of my analytics team they export the data, and then overlay it with our Salesforce and Usage data to construct a holistic view of clearly linking feature satisfaction to renewal risk.
