"Reliable Platform for Centralized File Sharing"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

what I like about SharePoint is how easily it helps teams work together in one place we can store files, share documents and collaborate with entire team without confusion. Everything is well organized in SharePoint. Another plus is how it integrates with other Microsoft tools like Teams, outlook, one drive and Excel .SharePoint fits smoothly into our daily workflow without need of extra tools. I also like the permission and access control. It's simple to decide who can view or edit content which is really helpful when working with different teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

one thing I dislike about Microsoft SharePoint is that can feel confusing at first. The interface is not user friendly for new users and it takes time to understand how libraries, folders and permissions actually work. Without proper training users can easily confuse a lot performance will slow down when working with large files. Simple changes sometimes feel complex and for advanced setups, need IT support. "Great for Document Hosting - in combination with OneDrive Sync"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

SharePoint is a great platform to host a great number of documents. It's basically a hosted file manager, with a few extras. Especially in combination with OneDrive to sync it with your local workspace. I just upload my files in the folders/structure of my choosing, get everything synched (OneDrive). if I need a file (e.g., from other teams), I can go to SharePoint and search for the full repository. What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

The search function in the sharepoint web app is sometimes wonky. If I look for something that I don't know the name - like, I have seen it, but I don't remember the title - the search is tough. I also can't warm up to the Sites features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Microsoft Integration for Easy Team File Sharing"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I like that it integrates with Microsoft products, because it makes it easy to share links to Word or Excel docs with my co-workers. When they open the files, we can work on them together. SharePoint also makes it easier to organize and share files with my immediate team, so we know all our files and projects are in one place. I also have OneDrive on my local Mac system, and I’m able to see my files there as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

It can be confusing whether I am using SharePoint, OneDrive, or Teams. The files show up everywhere but it's sometimes difficult to add Shortcuts to the folders. My organization has our SharePoint setup where we can't share files to outside organizations, which can be inconvenient at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft SharePoint: Seamless Collaboration and Organized Workflows"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

Microsoft SharePoint makes working together much easier and more organized. Instead of sending files back and forth over email, teams it can keep everything in one secure place and work on documents together at the same time. It helps people quickly find what they need and keep information structured. Because it connects smoothly with tools like Teams and OneDrive it fits perfect into everyday work. What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

One drawback of Microsoft sharePoint is that it can feel a bit confusing at first. The layout is not always very simple, and setting up folders, permissions, or sites can take time to understand, If it's not organized properly, it can become messy and hard to find documents. "A Major Upgrade: Flexible Layouts and Templates Make Page Creation Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

The new view is such an upgrade to the previous view. I like how we can use flexible layouts to customize items on a page. I also love the templates option in order to create a standard set of news posts templates for end users so they aren't creating pages from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

I don't like that the tools are very limiting and we can't really modify and hide a lot of the widgets without a third-party application like Shortpoint. I also find that performance can be slow when loading images and videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft SharePoint: Governed Content Services with Deep Microsoft 365 Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

Microsoft SharePoint’s primary strength is its ability to function as a structured, governed content services platform rather than simply a file repository. Its value comes from the combination of rigorous document management, deep integration with Microsoft 365, and extensibility that supports process enablement. SharePoint also excels in user management, administrator controls, and overall adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

While Microsoft SharePoint is a capable enterprise content and collaboration platform, several structural and operational characteristics routinely create friction. Most challenges are not failures of the technology itself; they stem from governance complexity, architectural tradeoffs, and the gap between business expectations and platform design. "Sharepoint is easy to use and makes work efficient"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

Sharepoint is fairly intuitive in its interface, making it easy and convenient to navigate and use. Moreover, I appreciate how well-integrated it is with other Microsoft products, and especially the fact that, unlike so many other products these days, it doesn't try to force me to use AI in order to use the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

In my experience, there have been times when documents on Sharepoint have frozen up for me and needed to be repeatedly reloaded for me to be able to edit them, as well as instances where clicking on a file in an attempt to open it has instead led to the file being downloaded, something that one would think would be fairly easily avoided if there were options to click in the menu to either open or download a file. Additionally, the presence of AI, while optional, seems unnecessary, and I question whether that may be affecting SharePoint's performance on my computer. Lastly, while. SharePoint is a great service overall, I cannot say for certain whether it is a significant enough improvement over comparable services, such as Google Drive, to justify its price. "All-in-One File Hub With Great Search and Support"
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

Everything is in one location, you can access your own files and team files all within one space. I am constantly using the search function to find a certain file as i can't always remember which team it is within but with the search it check all documents you have or have permission to access which makes life a lot easier.

Helps free up memory on my laptop as i can decide if its just within SharePoint or also on my computer which is really handy as some design files can get quite large.

Never have a problem downloading files on demand and the support within SharePoint is also great if having difficulty doing something like retrieving an old version of a file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Sometimes you can forget auto update is on so you can write over a file you meant to save a new version of but at the same time you can go back to an older version so is a way around this mistake. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, Centralized Collaboration with Seamless Microsoft 365 Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I appreciate SharePoint’s ability to organize documents and information in a centralized, secure location, while also enabling smooth collaboration across teams through its integration with Microsoft 365 tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

One of the main challenges with SharePoint is finding the right balance between flexibility and simplicity. As an environment grows, the site structure, permissions management, and customizations can become increasingly hard to maintain unless there is strong governance and clear documentation in place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
