"All-in-One File Hub With Great Search and Support"
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

Everything is in one location, you can access your own files and team files all within one space. I am constantly using the search function to find a certain file as i can't always remember which team it is within but with the search it check all documents you have or have permission to access which makes life a lot easier.

Helps free up memory on my laptop as i can decide if its just within SharePoint or also on my computer which is really handy as some design files can get quite large.

Never have a problem downloading files on demand and the support within SharePoint is also great if having difficulty doing something like retrieving an old version of a file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Sometimes you can forget auto update is on so you can write over a file you meant to save a new version of but at the same time you can go back to an older version so is a way around this mistake. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Centralised Collaboration, but Document Search Depends on Organisation"
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

What I like most about Microsoft SharePoint is how it centralises documents, team communication, and project collaboration in one place. This makes it easier for teams to share information and work more efficiently. I also appreciate how well it integrates with other Microsoft tools, which helps improve productivity and keeps document management organised. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

One thing I don’t like about Microsoft SharePoint is that it can be hard to locate specific documents when they aren’t properly organised or tagged. That can make searching for information more time-consuming, especially when multiple teams are posting content in the same place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"File Sync Issues Undermine SharePoint’s Strong Integration"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

What I appreciate most about Microsoft SharePoint is its seamless integration with the broader Microsoft ecosystem. The way it works together with tools such as Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, and Power Automate streamlines our daily workflows and ensures all our information remains centralized. SharePoint proves to be especially effective when handling structured data—its lists, tables, and data management capabilities are both robust and adaptable, enabling us to create tailored solutions without requiring significant development effort. When it comes to usability and deployment, SharePoint fits naturally into organizations that already rely on Microsoft 365, which helps minimize the learning curve and accelerates adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

What I find most frustrating about SharePoint is the slow synchronization of documents, which sometimes results in duplicate files and causes confusion within the team. This negatively affects teamwork and collaboration, making the overall experience less seamless than it could be. While the platform offers a wide range of features, the abundance of options can make straightforward tasks feel unnecessarily complicated. Although integration capabilities are strong, ongoing performance issues—particularly with file synchronization—undermine the system's reliability and demand extra effort to prevent inconsistencies. "Integrative Power but Needs Better Usability"
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I use Microsoft SharePoint to store files for my remote organization, ensuring access across various time zones. I appreciate its seamless integration with other Microsoft products, like Teams and Outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

However, its interface is not intuitive, making it hard to access personal files, and defaults can be confusing. Setup was straightforward, but my recommendation is a six out of ten. Customer support can also leave a lot to be desired. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Feature-Rich but Overwhelming—Clearer App Purpose Needed"
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I don’t really like SharePoint. It feels complicated, with too many features and integrations with other software, which makes it harder for me to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

I think it should be stated more clearly what each of the many apps is for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Integration and Sharing, but Searching for Files Can Be Hard"
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I like that it is easy to share files across our organization. I also appreciate that it is fully integrated with other Microsoft products like Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

It can sometimes be difficult to find files through the search feature. It seems that without having the exact word in the file name, it doesn't show up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast Collaboration, But SharePoint Organization Needs Improvement"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I like how I'm able to collaborate with my teammates simultaneously without any lag, and that my teammates can access documents and files I'm working on quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Sometimes the organization of SharePoint files can be messy, and when trying to find an exact file, it can be a journey to find it. Also, working with larger files can slow down your computer's performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Document Collaboration within Orgs, But Permissions and Storage Limits Can Frustrate"
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

It is great for information sharing and document collaboration within orgs or groups where all members have an outlook account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

The storage limit and lack of ease of access are deterrents. Due to the different layers of permissions within a single SharePoint site it can become quite confusing for administrators and users to access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It's good for storage and some collaboration, but way too complicated and involved for anything else"
3/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

It is great for sharing files and coordinating between teams. IN that sense, most people use it every day. And being Microsoft it fits nicely into their ecosystem and integrates with almost anything Microsoft, along with the various avenues one has for support if needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

The online version is somewhat simpler, but still a bit complex and not entirely straight forward, especially when it comes to permissions, and inheriting permissions. It's not as easy to establish what a company may need to implement with security, and I can see how there are security breaks with this product with permissions not being set up correctly on lists and document libraries. So the overall implementation could be better. And with the online version, it's obviously accessibly to anyone in the world who has the right credentials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Customizable, but Too Complex for the Average User"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I like how customizable SharePoint is. It also lets us delegate editing permissions to different individuals for our intranet, for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

It is extremely complex for the average user, especially given the growing availability of alternative options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
