"Easy Team Document Collaboration with Microsoft SharePoint"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

What I like about Microsoft SharePoint is how it helps us store our documents and collaborate within the team. It allows users to share documents with each other, work on the same document at the same time, and control access to those documents, among other things. Since it integrates with Microsoft applications like Excel, Word, Teams, etc., collaborating on a document becomes very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Nothing as such to dislike but for a new user it can feel little tricky to understand, learning curve may be steep for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Document Storage and Team Collaboration with Microsoft SharePoint"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

The most helpful aspect of Microsoft SharePoint is that it’s a very good option for document storage and for sharing documents with the team. It supports strong team collaboration and makes it easy to access and review documents, even when the actual document owner isn’t available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Using this can be a little challenging for new users. Also, access controls can become complicated once too many members are using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sharepoint combines smart search with secure file management."
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

First thing I like in SharePoint is advanced search result. It make my work easier and it also helped me to create sites and share with team and make communication easier. I can suggest people to use this software, best for file storage. . The best part is data loss prevention. This helps everyone to choose this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Configuration setup is bit tricky and complex for beginners. It actually required special knowledge. For beginners, navigation, site structures are confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Document Sharing, although phone app is too limited"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I like that Microsoft SharePoint allows me to share documents with the school's cloud, making them available for the whole company by just accessing the cloud. I appreciate being able to choose to use it to create documents available for all my colleagues. Uploading documents to this collaborative platform helps us see the work of everyone. in general microsoft is a good performance tool suite that I implement on my daily tasks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

I'm not sure we could 'compartmentalize' for each subject. I want to make documents available for a team, only for that team and not the whole School. It's easy to use but not very intuitive.

It also requires to use the desktop app to function fully as intended, the phone version is too limited Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Subsite Setup with Improved Layouts and Ready-to-Use Templates"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I’m able to create various subsites for different stakeholders. It’s very easy to set them up, and they’ve improved a lot of the layouts while also providing ready-to-use templates. Overall, this has been great for our internal communications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

There’s still no way to create a truly dynamic site yet. SharePoint also has a lot of limitations when it comes to building pages—especially adding photos and using different font types. Overall, it feels very basic, almost like a website made back in the early ’90s. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An Easier Way to Build and Maintain an Intranet."
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

A much easier way of building and maintaining an company "intranet" than coding everything by hand. It's fairly easy to understand and to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Not a lot of options available to customize a pages web parts. The interface can be obtuse at times. A lack of filtering by file names on file pages seems to be a huge miss. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Document Collaboration"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

What I like best about Microsoft SharePoint is how it centralizes documents, information, and team processes in one accessible place. I use it regularly to store and organize files, collaborate with colleagues, and ensure everyone is working with the most up-to-date version of a document.

The integration with Microsoft 365 is especially valuable. Being able to open, edit, and share Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files directly from SharePoint reduces unnecessary downloads and email attachments. Version history is also very useful because it allows us to track changes and recover previous versions when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

What I dislike most about Microsoft SharePoint is that navigation and permission management can become confusing, especially when working across multiple sites, folders, and teams. It can sometimes take longer than expected to find the right document or understand who has access. The interface can also feel less intuitive for new users, so some initial training is often needed. "A Single Pane of Glass for Communication, Collaboration, Automation and Digitization"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

A single pane of glass for communication and collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Native SharePoint workflows used to be very useful and convenient. Now Microsoft has shifted to Power Automate and other Power Platform tools, which you have to pay for. We used to be able to do much more with the native SharePoint workflows without any additional cost, but now it’s essentially the same capability under a new name—Power Automate—and you’re expected to pay for it. It feels like Microsoft started charging for something that was previously native to SharePoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure File Storage and Organization, Sharing Can Be Tedious, Microsoft you can do better."
3.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

SharePoint has become my day-to-day place to store and organize files for my IT inventory and database. I feel secure keeping my working files on SharePoint, although there’s still room for improvement. Overall, it does the job it was designed for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

The “Share” feature in SharePoint is my biggest issue. Sharing information between users inside or outside your organization can be tedious. I also dislike that, even though it’s an excellent repository for your files, it still has a rough learning curve if you want to get the best out of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Document Sharing"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

We can be in documents at the same time. We don't have to wait for a coworker to close then before we can get into it and make edits. We can share documents easily and you can search for what you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Since you can store so much, some times I have trouble remembering where a particular file is saved. I was not apart of the integration or pricing to speak on that piece. I really don't have any negatives, this works very nicely for organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
