"Outdated product that needs a wholesale refresh"
1/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

It is well integrated with the Team and Microsoft 365 Office Suite. It does a decent job in files backup and synchronization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Its UI / UX is outdated at best. The pricing of additional storage is extremely steep if the pooled 1TB organization limit is exceeded. There is little to no AI features within the SharePoint (or we are just not being informed of them). Search feature is pretty weak; we have to rely on third party tool to search our internal content. The cloud synchronization of Office files is not in real-time, which may cause content lost if the app crashes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unclear Sharing Permissions and Limited Form Creation in SharePoint"
1/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I like being able to manage access so that only my team can use it, which gives us an intranet-style experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

It’s often unclear whether something is available only to my team or to the entire organization, which makes me uncomfortable sharing content. I also don’t like that you can’t create forms directly in SharePoint and instead have to do it in OneDrive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Difficult to navigate "
0.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I am not sure if there is anything I like, we are forced to use Sharepoint as a business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

It's difficult to navigate. why can't I save something in either Teams or sharepoint and have it show up in both locations? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"By far the worst most annoying "CMS" on the face of the earth"
0/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

Sharepoint definitely integrates very smoothly with the Microsoft ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

There really isn't anything that I like - so basically I dislike everything. That includes most importantly the ability to properly administer and control file management and the ability (or lack thereof) to find relevant info when you actually need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Non-intuitive, clunky interface"
1/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

Once you figure it out, it works fine. But it is a very long and difficult road to figure out file sharing especially because the interface keeps switching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Using "Sharepoint sites" as a way to share documents between teams seems like a really clunky way to have to share files Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Terrible UX and too much"
1/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

It’s integrated with MS office suite apps Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

It’s too packed with all kinds of functionality and far too pricey. The UX is below par (as are most MS apps). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sharepoint documents not shared"
0/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

The only upside to the software, is it is what is used by the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

A number of times, when a sharepoint presentation was shared, it could not be opened. I had to contact the help desk, and they help desk indicated it was not able to fix the problem, I had to contact the person who created the presentation, since when the shared it, it was not formatted correctly to be shared with the intended audience. Go back to the persons using it "It's you, everything is good on our end." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Had its time"
1/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

Its a default system that businesses use. You have the ability to shortcut the folders to your desktop instead of using the browser which makes it easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Its very clinchy and not user friendly. It use to be good for storage of documents, however, it is difficult to find the location once uploaded because sharepoint will just find space whereever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SharePoint is unnecessarily confusing"
1/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

There is very little I like about SharePoint. I guess I like that it has a global search for files that I need to find organization wide? That should be a feature any enterprise intranet has, though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

SharePoint follows in the footsteps of other Microsoft apps in that it feels as though they met requirements without any thought. The interface is uniquely hard to navigate compared to similar products (Dropbox, Google suite, slack, etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"This has to be one of the most hated platform for anyone dealing with visuals"
0.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

The ability to create folders and upload a bunch of assets. Being able to share certain folders with selected people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

The rest. No without joking, it really is slow. It is often hard to integrate. Sharing with people outside an organization is also a thing that causes issues a lot, especially if your not the admin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
