"Autodesk Fusion 360 is a great parametric 3D modeling software"
5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?

As a high school teacher, it’s very important to have the educational license that Autodesk provides, as it allows me to grant licenses to my students so they can use the software in class. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?

I still can't find anything I don't like about Autodesk Fusion; it's robust software that's relatively easy for my high school students to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifying 3D Design and Prototyping in One Platform."
4/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?

What I like best about Autodesk Fusion is that it brings design, simulation, and manufacturing into a single platform, which makes the entire workflow smooth and efficient. I can create a 3D model, make quick design changes, and directly test or prepare it for manufacturing without switching between multiple software tools.

The parametric modeling feature is especially helpful because it allows easy edits even at later stages of the design. I also like the clean and intuitive interface, which makes it beginner-friendly while still offering advanced tools for complex designs. For students and engineers, the availability of cloud saving and collaboration makes project work more organized and accessible from anywhere. The best part for me about the fusion 360 is that you can design a whole Electronic components in 3d , also we can design PCBs and use auto routing feature all in single platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?

One thing I dislike about Autodesk Fusion is that it is highly dependent on an internet connection for sign-in and cloud features, which can be inconvenient when working with limited or unstable connectivity. Sometimes the software also feels resource-heavy, especially on mid-range systems, causing slowdowns during complex assemblies or simulations.

Another drawback is that some advanced features are locked behind paid plans, which can be limiting for students or individual users who want to explore deeper CAM or simulation capabilities. Occasional updates also change the interface slightly, which takes some time to adjust to.

And the last and most important drawback is its platform fees! Like paying 1 lakh + per year in India ,is I think can be difficult for some designers and engineers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless CAD-to-CAM Switching Makes Quick Model Changes a Breeze"
5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?

I love the easy transitioning between CAD and CAM. I use the CAM a lot and will often need to make quick modifications to the model and switching between them has never been easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?

I find the CAD workflow not as intuitive as I like. I have been using Solidworks as my main CAD program for a long time and so I am biased, but I find there may be too many steps, in some cases, to execute certain actions in the CAD workflow of fusion. Albeit, still a great CAD compared to many others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fusion 360: Easy, Powerful 3D Modeling for Parts, Assemblies, and Hybrid Design"
5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?

I am using fusion 360 for mire than 5 years, and I think its great software for 3D modelling, part design, assembly design, and hybrid design, its very easy to design compared to other software like solidworks, Catia, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?

Its update in week 1 or 2 they have updates, which will undermine the other existing features , like earlier we have a featire of exporting directly the body into stl file or a component into stl file but now until and unless we save the component’s file we won’t get an option for exporting to Stl file so i think weekly update isn’t good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best software for 3d & 2d drawings and drafting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?

When someone changes the design it is easy to track from the history who change it and what changes have you done in that part as compared to last one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?

In little heavy command it stops and must give offline access to files if internet gone and file didn't save its difficult to make it again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unified CAD/CAM Solution, Effortless to Setup"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?

I use Autodesk Fusion for my mechanical engineering projects, and I like its easy user interface, which makes it convenient to model assemblies. I appreciate that it updates versions automatically. It's great that I can access it from any computer and operating system. I also value the integration of modeling, sketch, CAM, and generative design into one platform, as it consolidates the tools I need. With Fusion, I don't need to buy separate CAD and CAM software, which is a big plus. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, with just a small download needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?

I find the library in Autodesk Fusion lacking. Also, working with large assemblies can be challenging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Design Solution, User-Friendly and Efficient"
5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?

I like that Autodesk Fusion is very easy to use, especially for an automation engineer. It's comparable to SolidWorks, allowing easy addition of camshaft parameters and other measurements. I find it straightforward to put measurements for 3D modeling and writing, or to change materials. It works fine even with a four-core CPU, which is something I think is missing in other software. I also appreciate how Autodesk Fusion is a complete package containing everything needed, including technical, documentation, and 3D CAD. It's really amazing and more structured than Salesforce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?

I think there's a lot of updates on time, but I understand it's a kind of big software. But I think it will be better to get maybe one complete upgrade at the end of maybe the year or maybe every four months than get all the time you upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast and intuitive 3D design workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?

Fusion 360 allows us to design and manufacture almost anything we can imagine. Its ease of use makes complex design tasks feel simple and fast, which lets us go from idea to finished model in very little time. The workflow is intuitive, powerful, and well suited for both creative and technical projects, making it an essential tool in our daily work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?

Occasionally, the software can become unstable when working with very complex models or a high number of triangles. In most cases, this is related to hardware limitations rather than the software itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential for Hobbyist Design with Ease"
5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?

I like Autodesk Fusion's parametric modeling, where I can update one dimension and the entire model changes, saving me from starting from scratch and hours of work. It's very convenient having both design and print prep in one place. The free personal tier was also really helpful as it gave me the chance to properly learn the tool before committing financially to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?

Autodesk has been trimming down the free tier, which is pretty sad because less people will have the chance to learn with real world tools as I did. I also think it kind of has an excessive cloud dependency. If I want to work offline, I'm stuck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile 3D CAD with an Intuitive, Easy-to-Use Experience"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Fusion?

It’s the most versatile 3D CAD design software, with an intuitive user experience that makes it easy to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Fusion?

Sometimes it lags a lot on the cloud server side when I’m saving design files, which can slow down the whole process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
