What do you like best about ZoomInfo Sales?

I would not recommend Zoominfo to small business sales teams, for a variety of reasons, but put shortly:

The investment is not worth it.

1. If you work with small business organizations, the zoominfo platform often will not be able to find your buyers - owners, etc. especially in the 1/2-$10/mil revenue space. It's great about finding large companies and corporations, but it's not suited for small business emails, phone numbers, and websites.

2. intent tool is useless. even though you can see searches going on, we've been unable to execute on that information and intel in a meaningful way to generate appointments. For larger organizations with big marketing teams and endless supllies of SDRs this tool is needed, but if you're a small sales team and each seller does a little of marketing and selling, the intent will not be helpful because it requires a lot of setup and infrastructure. we ran several intent tests and were never able to execute.

No notice of Contract Renewals - stuck with a super high prirce tag.

3. If you go with zoominfo, be extremely careful with how you set up your contract, and specifcally ask for NON-AUTO renewal. My contract autorenewed with 20% increase and i got one email at 60 days with a subject line: your subscribtion is set to autorenew automatically. No call with a rep, no date on when renewal is.

I tried to cancel my contract at 45 days, and my rep said, sorry. you're stuck. there's no way out. They will push you to "allocate" that spend to another product but will do nothing to help you reduce the spend.

Who would I recommend ZI to?

If you're a sales leader of a large organization with unlimited budget, zoominfo is a great tool.

Who I wouldn't?

If you're a smaller organization - I would highly suggest alternative tools. the flashy-iness of ZI does not merit the invoice, unfortunately, and you will not have support. Just a brand new kid out of college telling you sorry there's nothing we can do for you when you need help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are very few points to discuss dislikes. The ability to access both email addresses and telephone numbers for contacts greatly facilitates communication and improves response time by using templates that can be customized with variables for different companies. I find the setup process straightforward and quick, with integrations like Microsoft Office 365 making it convenient to manage through my daily email system. The intent feature of ZoomInfo Sales is incredibly useful, allowing us to focus directly on industries we are interested in, thus aligning our strategic goals with effective lead generation. The platform has impressed me with its in-depth information on companies, which includes organizational positions, differentiating it from other tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and HubSpot. The website analytics feature helps identify companies that have shown interest by visiting our website, which informs us who to follow up with. Zoominfo sales has the right contacts that I need to get our acquisitions pipeline flowing. Most companies I can find the correct contact in maintenance and indirect procurement. Many times i find that the contact's email, or numbers are outdated. This is my biggest concern, sometimes I find that Apollo might have the more up to date info, and they provide their services for free up to a certain usage which sort of fills in the gaps for when ZoomInfo is lacking. Often times you have a contact with an outdated email or phone number. ZoomInfo is a great tool to use when this happens to find a prospect/customer's current contact information. User-friendly interface: The platform is very user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for me to get started and become proficient quickly & implementation is very seamless.

Our business development team in North America has been using ZoomInfo for years. They use it every day while prospecting and it helps them to directly find the contact information of the prospects (direct email and mobile phones). Our BDR team in EMEA and APAC used to work with ZoomInfo, but we after 2 years we came to the conclusion that the amount of direct emails and mobile phones, compared to North America, is low in EMEA and APAC. What do you like best about ZoomInfo Sales?

Zoominfo has definitely made my life as an SDR easier since I get to speak with Decision Makers quicker and has helped me land active jobs for the client I'm working for, get more accurate information and have accurate context of businesses when I call to talk to the right people. All I need sometimes is a name, an email, or just the business name or link. There are so many options I can use to get to the right people, that if I don't have one, I can just use another and still get the right information.
