Funnels are easy to build, compare, and explore, and switching between views (e.g. funnel steps, conversion rates over time) is fast and intuitive. Event tracking has been stable since 2023, and metrics are consistently defined across analyses and experiments, which makes results easy to compare and trust. Complex analyses and more advanced A/B test setups can be difficult to implement, and they don’t scale well without significant ongoing effort. What do you like best about Mixpanel?

Mixplanel really shined when it comes to understanding how users actually interact with a product. What i like best is how easy it makes tracking user behavior beyond just page views. You can clearly see what users are doing, where they drop off, and which features are actually being used. The reports are flexible and detailed, but still easy to understand, even if you are not a data expert. Being able to slice data by events, cohorts and funnels helps make better product decisions instead of relying on assumptions. What do you like best about Mixpanel?

What I like best about Mixpanel is how clearly it shows what users are actually doing inside the product. Instead of just page views or basic traffic numbers, Mixpanel focuses on real actions like sign-ups, clicks, feature usage, and drop-offs. This gives Mic better insight into user behavior. Another thing I really like is how fast and interactive the reports are. Funnels, retention charts, and breakdowns update quickly so I can explore data without waiting for long report loads. From a backend developer point of view, the event-based model makes sense. i can send event from apps, background jobs, or services, not just the frontend This fits well with microservices and backend-heavy products. I also like that Mizpanel lets me slice and filter data easily. I can break events by user type, plan, country, or any customer property without writing SQL every time. One thing I dislike about Mixpanel is that the learning curve can be steep at the beginning. If events are not planned and named properly from day one, the data can become confusing later. What do you like best about Mixpanel?

What I appreciate most about Mixpanel is its easy learning curve. Most of our collaborators are able to uncover data insights without needing to write any code, which really helps promote data democratization within our company. Additionally, Mixpanel’s support team is excellent and consistently available to assist with any issues that arise. What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

There's only one thing I keep struggling with in Mixpanel: The 'Import Schema' option to edit properties information as a batch. When trying to upload a CSV, it doesn't recognize the values.

What do you like best about Mixpanel?

It is a lifesaver for debugging. When a user reports an issue, I can look up their profile and see their exact "User Flow"—literally the step-by-step actions they took right before things went wrong. It takes the guesswork out of reproducing bugs. It's also great for verifying that people are actually clicking the new buttons I shipped. The integration part is really easy : just add a helper class that calls the Mixpanel SDK, and that's it, The service is now implemented to use by just calling a helper function from all over my application . Mixpanel also handles event syncing flawlessly in case if the device is offline. I use this product daily/frequently to debug my applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

You have to be really strict with how you name events in your code. If you aren't careful, the data gets messy and hard to read. Also, finding a specific user to debug can be annoying if you don't have their unique ID handy; the search function could be a bit smarter. What do you like best about Mixpanel?

I find Mixpanel really helpful for understanding the end-to-end view of how our users interact and shop with our platform. It provides insights in an easy and democratized way for diagnosing problems with data. Mixpanel completes the picture where our BI tools fall short, notably helping us understand our users much better, including their path to churn. I appreciate Mixpanel's continuous upgrades to their product suite and their commitment to gathering real user research to ensure their B2B product meets industry standards. I love how Mixpanel includes experimentation on the platform, which allows us to better analyze different cohorts of experiment users without needing to cross-reference multiple platforms. What do you like best about Mixpanel?

Their focus is exclusively on analytics, unlike Amplitude, which I find too broad. I appreciate having statistical significance displayed directly in the reports. What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

The support experience has been terrible. As a paying customer, we've been waiting for two weeks for a response to resolve a critical bug affecting alerts, but have yet to hear back. It feels like they simply don't care, and in the meantime, we're dealing with false positive alerts on a daily basis.

What do you like best about Mixpanel?

MixPanel is super simple, flexible and robust. We previously used a very centrailsed approach with Tablaue, where only the data team were able to produce complex reports. The shift to mixpanel proved to be a huge game chnager that helped ys x2.5 on Black Friday. The real time, the decentralised approach so everyone have the abuility tpo create reports, the ease of use - all made our team much more data savvy than before. What do you like best about Mixpanel?

With this platform, you can monitor events from your application or product almost in real time as users interact with it. The reporting features are robust, and the data visualization tools are highly effective. Pretty easy to use. One of the standout benefits is the ability to create funnels, enabling you to track user engagement and other important metrics as people use your application. Additionally, you can manage multiple servers there and attach properties to events, which helps you analyze how events with specific properties perform throughout the entire flow. Also I had faced a problem with some events not showing up the customer support helped me and resolved my issue quickly after I mailed them. I sometimes use it more than twice a week.
