You have to be really strict with how you name events in your code. If you aren't careful, the data gets messy and hard to read. Also, finding a specific user to debug can be annoying if you don't have their unique ID handy; the search function could be a bit smarter. The support experience has been terrible. As a paying customer, we've been waiting for two weeks for a response to resolve a critical bug affecting alerts, but have yet to hear back. Without it, I wouldn’t be able to confidently ship serious features - nor truly understand what’s happening in production. I rely on Mixpanel to gather user feedback, monitor overall product health, identify patterns, debug stuff, and recruit users for qualitative research.

Honestly, not much. I’ve tried multiple other product analytics tools (Amplitude, Smartlook, Heap, Pendo, etc.), and Mixpanel consistently comes out on top.

The only improvement I’d love to see is a smoother way to view and track sequences of events in a user’s activity feed. Right now, it can feel a bit clunky to open each event one by one just to check properties and piece together context.
