"A time saving product"
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is a very user-friendly platform that I've been using for nearly a decade. It has changed quite a bit over the years but has remained consistent at doing the best it can with what API access social platforms provide. The ability to schedule content, plan content out, and view analytics and build reports in a centralized location is immensely valuable and useful for social media teams. Whether social media is 10% of your job or 100% of your job, Hootsuite is a great tool to help you save time and not lose your mind while managing your brand's social presence. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

As with any third-party product, Hootsuite is at the mercy of Meta, "X" or other platforms willing to share their API. Sometimes things break, and that can get annoying. But the Hootsuite team is helpful and responsive when those situations happen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful for managing multiple brand accounts without overcomplicating things"
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I use Hootsuite in my role as a Social Media Manager and Influencer Marketing Specialist at Barcode Entertainment, where we handle multiple brand accounts at the same time. On a normal day, I’m scheduling posts for different clients, checking comments, and keeping an eye on performance. Hootsuite keeps all of that in one place, which saves me from constantly switching between platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

The biggest downside for me is that there’s no free plan anymore. We sometimes suggest tools to clients so they can test them before fully committing, especially smaller brands or founders managing their own social. Without a trial or free option, it’s harder to say, “Try this out and see if it fits your workflow.” I understand it’s a business decision, but it does make referrals a bit more difficult. "My experience with Hootsuite has been very helpful because it allows me to manage."
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

What I like best about Hootsuite is that it lets me manage all my social media accounts in one place. I can schedule posts in advance, monitor comments and messages, and track performance without switching between platforms. It saves me a lot of time, keeps my work organized, and helps me stay consistent with posting and engagement. It also makes it easier to collaborate with a team and keep everything running smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

What I dislike about Hootsuite is that it can feel a bit slow and sometimes not very intuitive, especially when managing many accounts or large amounts of content. Some useful features are locked behind more expensive plans, and the analytics could be more flexible and detailed. Also, the interface can feel a bit crowded, which makes simple tasks take more clicks than necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hootsuite helps to handle social media strategy and calendar for my clients"
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Managing editorial calendars for my agency's clients involves a lot of moving parts. I love that I can schedule posts across Instagram and TikTok in one window instead of jumping between apps all day. The AI features actually come in handy when I need a quick spark for a caption or some hashtag ideas after a long day of concept presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

The mobile app feels really limited compared to the desktop version. It doesn’t offer the same functionality, so I often have to switch back to my laptop to get things done. When I’m on the go and can’t finish tasks on my phone, it gets pretty frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A reliable partner for managing global social strategy without the burnout"
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I handle a lot of accounts across the EEMEA region, and honestly, having everything in one dashboard keeps me from losing my mind. The calendar view is the thing I rely on most because seeing the week laid out helps me feel like I’m in control of the chaos. I’ve also been using the AI tools for hashtags when my brain feels a bit too crowded from the move to Germany. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

It can feel heavy sometimes, and I find myself clicking around way too much just to find a simple metric, which really breaks my focus. And I usually avoid the mobile app too, since it feels clunky and I'd just rather wait until I'm back at my laptop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful All-in-One Social Tool, But Steep Learning Curve and Pricey for Small Teams"
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

The best thing about Hootsuite is having one dashboard where you can schedule, publish, and monitor posts across multiple platforms at once, instead of jumping between separate apps all day. The unified calendar, AI caption/hashtag tools, and analytics make it easier to plan a full content week, see gaps, and quickly understand what’s actually performing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is powerful but it can feel heavy: the interface has a lot of sections and settings, so there’s a real learning curve, especially if you just want something simple. Pricing has also climbed over the years and there’s no real free plan anymore, which makes it harder for solo creators or very small teams to justify compared with lighter, cheaper tools. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

What I like best about Hootsuite is the fact that you don't have to learn anything new to post to your social media networks. It's all in one place and that's why I like it so much. What I like best about Hootsuite is that I can schedule a post and then I don't have to worry about it being shared on all my social media accounts, it just happens.Hootsuite is a very efficient platform for handling multiple social media platforms Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

Cost and Value for Money: The pricing jumps noticeably between plans, and key advanced features (such as bulk scheduling or advanced analytics) are locked behind higher tiers. For small businesses or solopreneurs, that makes the overall cost difficult to justify, especially if you don’t need a full suite of higher-tier tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Social Scheduling with Insightful Analytics"
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is great for scheduling content on a variety of social media platforms. It has some nice built-in features like link shortening and analytics reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

There are some quirks about the platform. For example, I can't make a custom shortened link for different platforms in the same window. I have to do it separately, which ends up defeating the purpose of having an efficient, one-window process for multiple platforms. Occasionally a post won't go through as well due to API issues. Additionally, the cost can be pricey compared to some other platforms on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mastering the social calendar, Scaling our cross-platform presence with data-driven scheduling"
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

What I find most valuable about Hootsuite is how it provides a centralised command center for our entire social media presence. The Planner calendar is a lifesaver for our efficient app campaigns, being able to see exactly when my Instagram and TikTok videos like our Business partnership series are going live helps prevent content gaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

While the scheduling is seamless, I've noticed that the Add Media interface can occasionally be a bit picky about video file formats for TikTok compared to native uploads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Constant, Evolving Partner in Social Media Management"
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I have used Hootsuite since launching my company in 2012. Social media is a rapidly changing entity with new platforms coming, and older ones changing or going defunct. Throughout all this continual turmoil, Hootsuite has been a constant, evolving along with the changing social media landscape. Hootsuite creates new tools, refines and updates older ones, and it is always in step with the pulse of social media. From analytics, to scheduling, to listening, Hootsuite is the ONLY scheduling tool that does everything. Customer service is topnotch as well. Truly, I love everything about Hootsuite! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

While I am fortunate to have started as a legacy member of Hootsuite, I know that prices have had to increase to accommodate updates and changes. I know these updates in tools are absolutely essential, and appreciate that Hootsuite invests in improvements for users. But many of the social media manager groups to which I belong talk about how pricey it is for solopreneurs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
