## About Hootsuite
Most teams are still working with tools and workflows built for a different time — dashboards, approvals, and disconnected systems that slow them down. Many have added AI, but haven’t changed how work gets done. Social moves too fast for that. It’s why we rebuilt Hootsuite with AI as a foundation, not a feature. Hootsuite Social OS helps teams go from reacting after the moment has passed to acting in real time with AI that makes it as easy as chat. That’s how we’re transforming the way teams move, decide, and grow. Less time navigating software. More time acting on ideas. That’s the future we’re building. --- Hootsuite Social OS gives marketing, communications, and insights teams a connected system to detect what's shaping their brand in real time, understand what it means, and coordinate action across the organization before the window of opportunity closes. Hootsuite Social OS is a strong fit for marketing, communications, brand, and social strategy teams that need social intelligence connected directly to execution across the business, not another listening dashboard to monitor in isolation — so they can move at the speed of social and stay ahead. Hootsuite Key Features \> Real-time social intelligence: Lumen helps you detect the signals shaping your market, from brand perception and emerging trends to competitive moves and consumer shifts, surfacing the insights that matter and helping you act on them before the window of opportunity closes. \> Conversational AI orchestration layer: Ask Wisdom questions in plain language and get cited, actionable answers grounded in your live social data, brand context, and historical performance. And it’s all as easy at chat. \> Connected publishing and planning: With Perch, you can turn insights into scheduled or published content in minutes — without switching tabs or losing context. Unified customer care: Manage comments, messages, and mentions across channels in one place through Nest, with AI-assisted responses and workflow routing. \> Employee advocacy: Turn your most trusted voices — your people — into brand ambassadors. Parliament enables them to easily share on-brand content with their own networks to extend reach and reduce paid media dependency. MCP connectors for Lumen, Perch, and Nest bring Hootsuite Social OS capabilities into the AI tools teams already use, including Claude and ChatGPT. So teams can draft, schedule, publish, engage, and measure across all their channels via Hootsuite without spending every day in a dashboard, calendar, or compose box.

## Hootsuite Reviews
 ### 1. A Must for Social Media Managers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melina E. | Social Media Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I love the ease of scheduling posts and finding data in reports that would otherwise take me forever on individual channels. The reporting is more reliable than Meta and X which changes too often and without reason. The few times I have talked to anyone on the Hootsuite team, they've been incredibly helpful and easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Thank you for allowing tagging after a post has been published! I would personally love integration with Asana so I can mark tasks as complete, let stakeholders know when posts have gone live or share live links.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite solves the need to hop around 4-5 different social media channels because scheduling and reporting can all be done in one place. I still like to check the newsfeeds and messages on each social media platform but without Hootsuite, it would take me hours more to pull monthly reports and schedule posts.

 ### 2. Hootsuite Keeps Our Social Scheduling and Client Approvals in One Place

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhavika G. | Social Media Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I work in Jaipur, India based marketing agency Drops. We provide copywriting, design, and social media management services, so handling many client accounts is part of my daily work. Hootsuite keeps everything in one place. It made easy to schedule posts and manage different social channels. Approval workflow is my favorite feature because clients can review content before it goes live, which saves a lot of back and forth.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

My biggest frustration is that Hootsuite keeps changing names of its products and features. New names are confusing, especially when I'm already used to the platform. I wish they kept things more consistent.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite helps to scale our small agency. It helps us manage many client accounts without switching between different social sites. We schedule content, get client approvals and manage everything from one tool. It saves our team a lot of time and makes it much easier to scale our social media management services.

 ### 3. Inbox 2.0 Makes Multi-Platform Engagement and Team Assignments Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew H. | Social Media Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

How all my social networks can be viewed at a glance and posted to with relative ease. I very much appreciate the ability to develop a post and then refine it for each platform respectively. The Inbox 2.0 is by far my most used feature and it makes responding to mentions, comments, and messages a breeze!

Having Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram messages, comments, and mentions integrated into one space AND being able to assign them to team members has been invaluable for our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The backend for managing teams and members feels a bit outdated. Granting permissions to individuals has been a little bit of a headache at times where there is a bit of vagueness regarding how and which features we're giving permission for.

I have had struggles with the performance of the listening feature as far as narrowing results through booleans. Multiple times I have excluded a keyword or phrase only to see it appear in my results. That could likely be a user-error issue rather than a platform issue.

The pricing of the listening features has been a bit of an issue for our office, and in the two years since upgrading we have definitely underutilized it.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite has streamlined our publishing process first and foremost. We have developed a fairly thorough workflow with our social media channels through Hootsuite and has made onboarding new team members a breeze.

The addition of Owly GPT as an AI assistant has been very helpful in idea generation and reworking captions for our content.

 ### 4. User-Friendly with Some Feature Gaps

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer A. | Social Media Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like the ease of use of Hootsuite; it's very user-friendly and easy to navigate. The convenience of having a snapshot of everything social in one spot is great. Scheduling social posts for multiple platforms in one place is really handy, and I appreciate having all our social analytics combined in one spot. The initial setup was very easy, and it's simple to link our social channels and pull all of our data in.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think that Hootsuite is missing a couple of opportunities and functions that these social platforms have natively, like posting both a photo and a video together on Facebook or adding platform audios on TikTok. Each social platform has a couple of unique helpful features that aren't integrated yet into Hootsuite. It would be beneficial if we were able to post both a photo and a video together in one post on Hootsuite, but this isn't a capability yet despite it being a function on both Facebook and X.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite lets us schedule social posts across platforms in one place and combines our analytics in one spot. It's user-friendly and easy to navigate, with a simple setup that integrates all our data effortlessly.

 ### 5. Hootsuite Keeps All Our Social Media Scheduling and Analytics in One Place

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nila S. | Social Media Manager, Insurance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite every day as a social media manager at Averill, small insurance agency. I work remotely, having everything in one place makes my job much easier. I manage multiple social media accounts. Scheduling feature saves me a lot of time because I plan posts in advance. I also rely on analytics reports to see which content performs well and improve our social media strategy. It made my job easier.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The biggest dislike part is pricing. As I add more social media profiles, the subscription cost increases, which can be difficult for me as a small freelancer(side hustle) to manage.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite made my job easy and happy. It helps me manage our social media from one dashboard. I publish, monitor and reply to messages without wasting time moving between different platforms. Customer support is an important part of my role because we have small team. So having everything in one place helps me respond faster to both existing and potential customers.

 ### 6. Time-Saving Social Media Tool with AI Benefits

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammed Younus F. | Marketing Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite for social media planning, content calendar, scheduling, and captions using AI. I like the OwlAI feature, which helps in curating posts and reporting, giving me numbers that help me understand how I can make campaigns better. It saves me time by letting me schedule posts and post in multiple places. The initial setup was very quick and easy, needing only a one-time setup. These features were better compared to what we were using before, like Sprout Social.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think it would be helpful if Hootsuite could integrate the history of messages, which would save time by allowing me to access old messages and reply to them.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite for social media planning and it saves me time by letting me post in multiple places. OwlAI helps curate posts and understand numbers better, optimising my campaigns.

 ### 7. Solid scheduler and reporting, but social listening and X integration need work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wiktoria K. | Social Media Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

The scheduler is one of the standout features. It’s intuitive and reliable, and in my experience it honestly holds up better than Sprout Social’s. I also really like the optimal posting time suggestions, which take the guesswork out of when to publish content for engagement. On top of that, the data and reporting tools are solid not the flashiest, but they provide a clear, useful overview of performance without forcing me to dig through a bunch of extra menus.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

he biggest limitation for me is that you can't schedule threads on X (Twitter). You have to post the first tweet and then manually add replies, which breaks the workflow for thread-heavy content. Streams are also a pain point: finding a specific person to retweet or reply to instantly takes a fair bit of digging, since there's a limit on how many tweets show up at once. In practice, it's often just faster to go directly to X and retweet or reply from there rather than working through Hootsuite's interface.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I manage social media across multiple brands and businesses at once, so the main problem Hootsuite solves for me is centralizing scheduling and publishing instead of logging into each platform separately. The bulk scheduling and optimal posting time features save a lot of time when I'm planning content calendars across different accounts with different audiences. The reporting also helps me pull together performance data quickly when I need to show results or make decisions about where to focus content efforts, rather than manually compiling stats from each platform.

 ### 8. Hootsuite Keeps All Client Social Work in One Place—Huge Time Saver

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pooja W. | Cofounder & Digital Marketing Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

We run a marketing agency and work with eCommerce brands in India, UAE and USA. Managing multiple client accounts is a big part of our daily work. Hootsuite keeps everything in one place, which saves a ton of time. Scheduling feature is really time saver and trello like boards make it easy to track conversations and engagement for each client. Social listening and keyword tracking tools help us stay on top of trends without switching between multiple tools.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Pricing is quite high, especially for smaller agencies. The other issue is account disconnections. Sometimes a social profile drops and needs to be reconnected, which usually means involving client. That's annoying sometime, when you're handling multiple accounts, that kind of back and forth gets frustrating.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We manage social media for multiple eCommerce brands along with other marketing work. Hootsuite puts scheduling, monitoring, engagement and keyword tracking all in one place. This cuts down a lot of manual work. Our team stays organized, keeps activity consistent across all client accounts and gets more time to focus on eCommerce on store work like CRO, SEO etc.

 ### 9. Hootsuite Saves Tons of Time Managing Multiple Client Accounts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aparna S. | Social Media Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite saves a ton of time managing multiple client accounts. I've used it for over two years and handle 10+ clients at once. Scheduling lets me plan content ahead and stay consistent without posting manually every day. Approval workflow is another big one. A lot of our work is personal branding, so clients want to review content before it goes live. Hootsuite makes that simple and helps avoid publishing mistakes. It's also built trust with clients since nothing goes out without their okay. I also use it daily for reporting, replying to comments and managing DMs.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

No major complaints on features. Customer support is the one area that could be better. Response times have been slow at times and when we're juggling multiple clients, delays can throw off campaign timelines. Faster support would make a real difference.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite lets me manage social media at scale. Without one platform, scheduling, tracking performance, handling comments and coordinating approvals across 10+ accounts would take a lot more time and leave more room for error. Having scheduling, reporting, comments, DMs and approvals all in one place has streamlined our workflow. It keeps team organized, keeps content quality high.

 ### 10. Intuitive Planner and Real-Time Metrics for Multi-Country Channel Management

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** maria c. | Latam Marketing Manager for IELTS, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

It's intuitive, plus it allows you to work on channels from several countries at the same time easily and for multiple channels, shows changes in real time, and has a user-friendly planner and metrics review design

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think we need implementations with inbound channels where we can contact people directly via WhatsApp, email, or direct. I also miss the ability to control stories and to edit the texts that need correcting after they've been published.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing me to have my entire social media ecosystem from LATAM in one place, saving me posting and implementation time. Additionally, it lets me work alongside colleagues from other areas and see their scheduled posts in real time. This helps keep the channels organized across many departments and unifies our main channels.

 ### 11. Great for managing multiple accounts, but scheduling posts still feels too manual

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda Ariela B. | Content Marketing Manager, Americas, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I love having all the accounts in the same place and being able to tag my posts to quickly check how they perform! I like also to be able to post in more than one account at once at the same time - I don't like that the same can't be done by X, though.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I don't like having to schedule a single tweet at a time, seriously, sometimes I need to post 7 posts on 10 different accounts, so it's like 70 actions I need to do at all times, and it's super annoying, I wish there was a quick way to replicate tweets. I also dislike not being able to schedule Instagram Stories, this would be essential for my company, and we can't do it at all, it's super sad!

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite helps me manage simultaneously 33 different social media channels, accross X, Instagram, and Facebook. I like how it helps me to manage them effectively, without the need for me to have to login individually in all of them to keep them working.

 ### 12. All Social Channels in One Dashboard for Clear Performance Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor F. | Director of Onboarding, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

We can merge all of our social media channels into one dashboard. This makes it much easier to view our overall success while also extracting individual channel metrics. We can see how our strategy is performing and whether we need to make tweaks to a channel.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I’d say the pricing is a bit of a sore spot. As a small marketing team, we’re working with a pretty limited budget, and Hootsuite ends up taking a good chunk of it.

It can also feel overly complex at times. With so many options, tools, and reports available, the learning curve is pretty steep and can be a bit much to take on.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Report generation. I can, at the drop of a hat, pull how we are doing overall and feed that to my leadership. When project managers come to me and ask, I can give them specifics on how well their campaigns are performing.

 ### 13. Hootsuite Streamlines Multi-Brand Social Scheduling and Monitoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tracey C. | Head of Sales, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I've used Hootsuite to manage social media across multiple venues and brands, and it's become a valuable part of my marketing toolkit.

What I like most is the ability to plan, schedule and monitor content across different platforms from one place. It saves a significant amount of time and helps ensure that campaigns remain consistent and organised.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

While Hootsuite is a strong platform overall, there are a few areas where I feel it could be improved.

The biggest challenge is the cost. As your team grows or you require additional functionality, the pricing can increase significantly, which may be difficult to justify for smaller teams or venues with limited marketing budgets.

The reporting tools are useful, but some of the more advanced analytics are only available on higher-tier plans. I'd also like to see greater flexibility in creating customised reports.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite solves the challenge of managing multiple social media channels across different brands and venues from a single platform. Rather than logging into each social network separately, I can schedule content, monitor engagement, track performance and manage campaigns in one place.

This has significantly improved efficiency and saved time for both myself and the wider marketing team. It allows us to plan content in advance, maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure that key campaigns are delivered on time.

 ### 14. All Social Channels in One Place with Handy Canva Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roshni J. | Social Media Manager, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I work as social media manager at IAMCREATOR.com. I manage Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook for them. Having all three in one place makes my day a lot easier. I use content calendar to plan campaigns and keep posting regular. But my favorite part is Canva integration. I design and publish without switching between apps. Reporting also helps me see what's working and what's not.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

One thing that bothers me is accounts disconnecting out of nowhere. It's annoying when we have scheduled posts going out and suddenly account needs to be reconnect.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At IAMCREATOR we use social media to connect with students and build credibility in the personal development space. Hootsuite lets me schedule content, handle multiple platforms, and check performance all from one dashboard. It saves me time and keeps things organized. It helps to creating content and growing community.

 ### 15. Powerful Social Media Planning and Analytics Across Platforms

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ollie C. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like being able to plan, schedule, and analyze our social media data across all the platforms we’ve added. The different areas of the user interface are easy to identify, although it can feel a bit overwhelming at first. Overall, the data is helpful for planning and integrating into our social media strategy so it can perform well.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The cost is relatively high compared to some of the cheaper options on the market. At times, it can feel overwhelming because there’s so much data available to analyze. I also think a short video or tutorial during account setup would help users understand the platform more quickly.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s been helpful to integrate all of our social media platforms within our business in one place. It makes scheduling posts simple and easy, especially at the highest-performing and most engaging times for our audience to see them. The ability to create captions and have them refined by AI is also beneficial, particularly when you’re dealing with a creative block, which can easily happen.

 ### 16. Great for sharing multiple posts on different social media platforms

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan P. | Owner of EmCat Designs, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2018

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

The ease of scheduling posts and having ONE place to share/market on several social media sites. Allowing me to post and market a lot easier without having to login to multiple
Accounts.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Some of the features can be a bit difficult to learn and the pricing is a bit expensive. Also, contacting customer service can be a hassle for any billing related issues.

**Recommendations to others considering Hootsuite:**

If you are looking for an easier way to share on multiple social media sites without having to go to each site/schedule posts/create posts, Hootsuite might be for you. You are able to schedule posts on several social media sites for several weeks even. I spend one day a week scheduling posts for the upcoming week and it is super convenient for marketing/time management.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marketing on multiple sites is a lot easier with Hootsuite. Can schedule entire week in one day verse having to spend multiple days marketing on each platform individually.

 ### 17. Great tool for handling several brand accounts efficiently

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick P. | Digital campaign strategist, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like how Hootsuite lets us organize multi-channel social media distribution with structured content queues, allowing us to plan promotional changes ahead of time without human oversight. The centralized calendar management is a huge help for preventing duplicate posting mistakes and saves considerable operating hours regularly. I appreciate the unified inbox that gathers mentions and direct messages from every connected profile into one clear display, making customer interaction tracking fast and efficient for my entire team. Hootsuite's unified message aggregation allows our media purchasing team to monitor incoming consumer questions across numerous local channels.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I find the media asset management clumsy when uploading high definition video files using the mobile application. Preview rendering fails regularly during peak afternoon publishing hours, generating irritating delays. Developers must solve the persistent tagging flaws inside the scheduling module promptly. Adding bulk editing tools for existing draft campaigns would alleviate huge operational friction.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite for organizing multi-channel social media distribution. It solves disjointed publication schedules by centralizing calendar management, preventing duplicate posts and saving time. The unified inbox makes tracking customer interactions efficient.

 ### 18. Affordable, Easy-to-Use Social Media Solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melody L. | Marketing and Communications Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite for social media management, analytics, and competitor research. I like that I can post ahead of time using the social schedule and track analytics, which helps me make a biweekly report based on our Instagram and LinkedIn analytics. The ability to look at our competitors and see what thought leadership we should share is also valuable. I find Hootsuite very easy to use and appreciate its affordability. The app is a great feature because it allows me to check or edit my posts. The social posting is simple, and I can save drafts if I'm not ready. I value the app functionality a lot because I can double-check my posts and make edits or reschedule without having to log into my laptop. Moving to Hootsuite was easy, and the initial setup was incredibly straightforward. Additionally, the pricing is appealing, which was a factor in switching from Oktopost.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think that there could probably be more advanced tools like employer advocacy ones and also the tagging sometimes does not work with finding people or companies.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can post ahead on the social schedule and track analytics for biweekly reports. Competitor research is easier, and I can double-check posts and reschedule them from the app. Hootsuite is very easy to use and affordable, enhancing my workflow.

 ### 19. Efficient Social Media Management with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittney E. | Founder, Recreational Facilities and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite to plan and schedule posts in advance, which allows me to alleviate doing so much in one day or even one sitting. It helps me focus on other priorities without worrying about publishing them manually. I love that I don't have those 'Home Alone' moments when a post is due. It keeps me consistent on social media without having to be online when the post gets published. Having my content and performance calendar tracked in one place is great. I also appreciate the analytics that help me understand what's working, what isn't, and how I can improve my strategy. Hootsuite is like a one-stop shop for managing social media, making it organized and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite packs a lot into one platform, which is great, but it can also make it feel a little busy at times. Depending on what I am working on, I occasionally have to click through multiple sections to find what I need. Once things are set up, I will say that it works well, but I think simplifying the interface or making certain tools easier to access would create an even smoother experience.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite helps me schedule posts in advance, easing daily workload and keeping my social media presence consistent. It allows me to manage content in one place, focusing on other priorities, with analytics enhancing my strategy by showing what's effective.

 ### 20. Hootsuite Makes Scheduling and Analytics Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite saves me a lot of time by letting me schedule content in advance across multiple platforms. I also like the recommended posting times and the analytics, which make it easy to track performance and optimize my content strategy.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

My experience signing up wasn't the best. I initially subscribed to the Standard plan but quickly realized I needed the Professional plan. Unfortunately, there's no option in between, so it meant an increase of about $200 per month. As a small business owner who works primarily with nonprofit clients, that's a significant jump in cost, but I was prepared to make the investment.

The frustrating part was the upgrade process. I couldn't reach support through the live chat because it kept telling me I needed to log in, even though I was already logged into my account. I ended up sending a message through Facebook instead, where someone was eventually able to help resolve what turned out to be an issue on Hootsuite's end.

While I appreciated that the problem was fixed, I was disappointed with the customer service experience. Given that the issue wasn't caused by me and I was upgrading to a much more expensive plan, I had hoped there might be some type of discount or goodwill gesture. Instead, the response was essentially, "Sorry, we can't do that," which left me feeling a bit undervalued as a new customer.

I previously used AgoraPulse, and their team took the time to work with me directly to create a custom package based on the number of users I actually needed, rather than limiting me to a standard plan on their website. Because of that experience, it was disappointing that Hootsuite dismissed the possibility of a more tailored solution so quickly. Even if a discount or custom plan wasn't possible, I would have appreciated a more collaborative approach to finding an option that fit my business.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I manage social media for multiple clients, so having everything in one platform makes my workflow much more efficient. Being able to schedule content in advance across all of my accounts saves me a significant amount of time and helps me stay organized. I also find it much safer than posting directly through Meta Business Suite, where it's much easier to accidentally post to the wrong account or make other publishing mistakes. Hootsuite gives me confidence that everything is going to the right place at the right time.

 ### 21. Easy to Learn Social Media Management with Powerful Analytics and Teamwork

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassie B. | Communications associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like it because it is very easy to use and learn, as well as teach others. Another reason I like Hootsuite is its analytics features. The platform provides insights about engagement, audience growth, and post performance, which helps users understand what content works best. These tools are useful for improving communication strategies and creating stronger connections with audiences. Hootsuite also supports teamwork by allowing multiple people to collaborate on campaigns and content planning.

Overall, I like Hootsuite because it combines creativity, organization, and analytics into one platform. It simplifies social media management while helping users communicate more effectively and professionally online.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The only thing I dislike about Hootsuite is the cost. Many of the advanced features, such as detailed analytics, team collaboration tools, and managing multiple accounts, are only available through paid plans. For students, small businesses, or individuals with limited budgets, the pricing can feel expensive compared to other social media management platforms. The free version also has restrictions that limit how useful it can be for larger projects.

I also find that scheduled posts do not always perform as well as content posted directly through social media apps. Some platforms limit certain features when third-party scheduling tools are used, which can affect engagement and content quality. Additionally, occasional technical issues or connection problems between accounts can be frustrating.
Overall, while Hootsuite is powerful and professional, its complexity, pricing, and occasional limitations make it less appealing for some users.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite solves the problem of managing multiple social media accounts separately. Without a platform like Hootsuite, users would need to log into each app individually to create posts, respond to messages, and track performance. This can take a lot of time and make it difficult to stay organized. Hootsuite brings everything into one dashboard, making social media management more efficient and convenient.

One of the biggest problems Hootsuite solves is time management. The scheduling feature allows users to plan and automate posts in advance, which helps maintain a consistent online presence without needing to post manually every day. This benefits me because it reduces stress and helps me stay organized while balancing school, work, and other responsibilities.

Hootsuite also solves the problem of tracking audience engagement and content performance. Its analytics tools provide insights into which posts are successful and how audiences interact with content. This benefits me by helping me improve communication strategies and create more effective posts.

Another benefit is collaboration. Hootsuite allows teams to work together on campaigns, approvals, and content planning in one place. Overall, Hootsuite benefits me by saving time, improving organization, and making social media communication easier and more professional.

 ### 22. Streamlined Workflows - Social Media Content Management and Reporting

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kylie A. | Contributor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Streams within Hootsuite are very helpful for organization of content / posts across all social media platforms connected. URL uploading and condensing is seamless when creating social media posts and this aids in overall performance of month-to-month social media content calendar creation. Hootsuite support and onboarding was a breeze and the team members were able to quickly address all areas of concern. The AI capabilities within the platform have been a great overall addition especially in terms of data, analytics, and social media copy creation. Workflow on a day-to-day basis have been improved especially in the areas of quick data pulls, demographic and audience behavior, and content performance. Excellent UI / UX. The integrations of team workflows have been beneficial and the overall pricing for each team member is competitive within industry.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I do not enjoy the lack of API connection to seamlessly upload IG / FB Stories. I also believe there can be improvements at the general level for monitoring team member activity - such as how many times they are logging in, how many times they are viewing streams, and how many times they are generating reports.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite is solving the problem of lack of data, reporting, and metrics insights that IG / Meta do not currently have at large. The demographic information and data is more insightful when compared and it is great to be able to lean into Hootsuite on a month-by-month and year-over-year basis across all social media platforms.

 ### 23. Efficient Social Media Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I enjoy using Hootsuite's post scheduler because it lets me write drafts, schedule content, and view an easy-to-navigate calendar for both short-term and long-term planning. The ability to set and forget posts by planning content all at once is great, allowing them to be released on a pre-set scheduled cadence without the need to log in and post live each time. This feature saves me time and makes the workflow much more efficient. The initial setup of Hootsuite was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I find the inbox with comments and messages a little clunky, especially when monitoring many accounts. Sometimes accounts will randomly disconnect from my setup, and I have to reconnect or link my social profiles before posting to them.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite solves the issue of logging into multiple platforms by allowing me to post across channels from one place. I enjoy the post scheduler for setting and forgetting posts, which saves time and makes my workflow much more efficient.

 ### 24. Facilitate Network Management with Scheduled Posts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan Felipe T. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

What I like about Hootsuite is that it allows us to post on our social networks without having to enter each one individually; everything is done in a single step. I love that it is a modern tool and it is really easy to make posts. I greatly value the ease of scheduling posts through a calendar, so we can plan ahead without having to enter the tool every day. Additionally, I found the initial setup very simple.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think it could be improved a bit more in terms of integration with other CRM tools, for example, HubSpot or Salesforce, so that they can be integrated more easily. I would also like an artificial intelligence tool where Hootsuite can provide suggestions regarding the audience we are targeting or certain types of posts, with a kind of feedback without having to analyze much.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite allows us to post on all our social networks in one step, making it easier to schedule future posts with a calendar. However, the integration with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce could be improved.

 ### 25. Efficient Scheduling with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raquel T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I really find Hootsuite useful for social media scheduling and coordinating posts across departments. It saves time and makes my work process more efficient by centralizing all my info, including posts and copy. I like its easy-to-use interface, which is accessible across many people. Logins are easy to handle, and I appreciate the option to sync many accounts to one account. The setup was super easy, with a quick sharing of logins.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Sometimes it glitches and can at random not upload certain posts, which is annoying, especially on weekends when no one is working. I think they should improve bugs and system updates more often.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite for social media scheduling and coordinating posts across departments. It saves time, makes my work process more efficient, and centralizes all my info, including posts and copy. It's also easy to use across many people.

 ### 26. All Our Social Accounts in One Place—Hootsuite Makes Scheduling Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

What I like best about Hootsuite is having all of our social media accounts in one place. The scheduling calendar makes it easy to plan content in advance, review upcoming posts, and maintain a consistent presence across platforms. It saves me time each week and helps me stay organized when managing multiple campaigns and events.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I dislike that Hootsuite often cannot fetch or connect to our social media accounts, causing scheduled posts to fail. I then have to manually publish the content directly on each platform, which defeats the purpose of using a scheduling tool and disrupts my workflow.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite helps solve the challenge of managing multiple social media accounts and campaigns at once. Its scheduling and calendar features allow me to plan content in advance, organize posts for upcoming events, and maintain a consistent presence across platforms. This saves time and makes it easier to manage our overall social media strategy from one place.

 ### 27. Scheduling, Engagement & Analytics in One Dashboard That Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neha L. | Social Media Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I've been using Hootsuite for over two years at SocioGlitch, where I manage multiple client and UGC campaigns. I like most is having scheduling, engagement and analytics in one dashboard. Steams are especially helpful because I monitor campaign conversations and reply to comments without switching between different client accounts, which saves a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite recently launch social os new UI for website. It feels confusing than classic version. I still prefer using the classic layout because it's faster for my daily work.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite makes it much easier to manage multiple client accounts and campaigns from one place. It helps me stay on top of audience engagement, while the reporting tools make it easy to share campaign performance with clients and keep out workflows at SocioGlitch efficinet.

 ### 28. Helpful Platform for Organized and Effective Social Media Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kelsey h. | Program Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

One of my favorite features is the recommended posting times, which has really helped improve engagement and take the guesswork out of scheduling. I also appreciate how the platform helps adjust and optimize content while still keeping the original message and ideas I want to get across.

The analytics and reporting tools are another huge plus. Being able to easily see which posts are performing well, how much traffic they’re bringing in, and overall engagement trends has made it much easier to understand what our audience responds to. Overall, it’s been a very helpful and user-friendly platform for managing and improving our social media presence.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

One frustration I’ve had with the platform is the approval process at times. Occasionally posts are rejected without clear suggestions or feedback on what specifically needs to be changed, which can make revisions difficult.

I’ve also run into issues where scheduled posts are still waiting on approval after the planned posting time has already passed. Once that happens, the post essentially expires and the intended timing and engagement opportunity are lost. A smoother approval workflow or clearer notifications around pending approvals would make the scheduling process much more efficient.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite helps keep our social media organized, efficient, and aligned with our company’s goals and messaging. It saves time through scheduling, performance tracking, and engagement recommendations, while the analytics make it easy to see what content is performing best and what our audience responds to most.

 ### 29. Helpful Upcontent Partnership, and Clear Dashboards

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sue F. | Senior Brand Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I love their partnership with Upcontent, it's been really helpful getting current content that fits with my brand's needs. Their reporting dashboards are helpful and clear. I can easily share performance with leaders and provide information quickly. I'm really happy with the level of support the brand offers and the products reliability.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I'm sad to see the end of individual account managers, this was something that was really necessary so many times throughout onboarding and throughout company changes. It felt like I lost a member of my social team. With that said though, I'm still feeling the same level of customer service through my upcontent team.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite is helping me identify what posts are performing, and ideate helpful content for my audience. The addition of ow.ly ai has been a huge impact on ideation. The social listening element has been helpful in illustrating the impact of social for the brand.

 ### 30. Hootsuite: very comprehensive and centralized, but expensive and not always intuitive

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** yacine samy c. | data analyste, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

What I like most about Hootsuite is its ability to centralize all social media management on a single platform. Scheduling posts, tracking messages, and analytics are very convenient for saving time on a daily basis. I also appreciate the numerous integrations available with other marketing tools and CRM, which greatly facilitate teamwork and task automation.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

What I like least about Hootsuite is mainly its price, which has become very high compared to other tools on the market. For small teams or freelancers, the cost is hard to justify. The interface can also seem quite cluttered and not very intuitive at first, with a real learning curve. Finally, customer support and some social integrations sometimes lack responsiveness, especially when there are connection issues with Instagram or TikTok.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite primarily solves the problem of managing multiple social networks by centralizing everything on a single platform. Instead of switching separately from Instagram to LinkedIn, Facebook, or TikTok, I can schedule my posts, respond to messages, and track performance from a single dashboard. However, the performance remains average, and the AI integration sometimes bugs.

 ### 31. Effortless Social Scheduling and Custom Metrics in Hootsuite

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

With Hootsuite I can schedule all of my social clients posts with a few clicks. I can see in my dashboard everything organized and in order from any dates I want. Besides that, I also like the metrics dashboard that lets me create my own custom metrics report for any client I want. I enjoy all the integrations with different types of profiles, the performance of the app is also something important, the fact that I can download the app and review everything from my phone.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The pricing might be a bit high for small companies. There's also a few things to fix when it comes to integrations with the social media profiles. For some reason the profiles keeps getting disconnected .

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By scheduling all my posts I'm getting more time to work on strategy, planning, going into meeting. No worrying about the fact that I have to login and post.

 ### 32. Streamlines Scheduling, Needs UI Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite for posting and scheduling posts on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. It makes it so I don't have to use multiple apps to post the same or similar content. Scheduling posts and posting are big parts of my job, and Hootsuite makes it so I can do my job without having to open Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn separately. The initial setup was easy.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The UI for creating posts for multiple platforms could use improvement. Tagging is often a pain, especially with IG and FB being Meta platforms. It should try to find the appropriate account on other platforms and show uncertainty. It's also frustrating when adding media like images; if there's a problem with one image on one platform, removing the images from the original setup should work for all three platforms. Instead, I have to make changes to each platform individually.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite allows me to schedule and post on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook without using multiple apps, streamlining my workflow. Our comms team is one person, so any improvement to efficiency has a big impact.

 ### 33. Time-Saving Tool with Powerful Scheduling feature

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barzakh T. | Business Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite for managing my multiple social media accounts, and it saves me a lot of time by having everything in one place. I really appreciate their scheduling tool, which is the main benefit for me. On and off, the tracking of performance through their analytics tool gives me scope of the content and helps me to improve and increase my reach. The initial setup was straightforward and did not take long, and it was very simple to connect our social media.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

There are two things I want the team to improve. Firstly, it's the dashboard latency; sometimes the dashboard feels a bit slow when managing multiple accounts all together. Secondly, some of the useful features are only available on the expensive pricing plan.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite saves me a lot of time by centralizing my social media accounts. I especially benefit from their scheduling tool and the performance tracking with their analytics, which helps me improve and increase my reach.

 ### 34. Streamlined Scheduling but Needs Timely Updates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin C. | Digital Media Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I use Hootsuite to schedule social media posts for my college, and I like the interface and the analytics. It gives me a full picture of our social media plan for the week, which helps me keep us on brand. I enjoy how these features make it easy to coordinate different brand voices for different channels and schedule content.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think that it could be a little quicker to update to current standards. For example: Instagram now supports 20 photos in a post, still in Hootsuite you can only schedule 10. Additionally, you still can't seem to schedule out YouTube shorts content. I wish the drag and drop scheduling could be done by the hour not just daily. Drag and drop posts to the hour instead of having to go into the post itself and change the time.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite to schedule social media posts, coordinating brand voices for different channels. It provides a full picture of our social media plan, helping keep us on brand. I like the interface and analytics, though I wish scheduling was by the hour.

 ### 35. Easy Management of Social Accounts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily M. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like how easy it is to use and the analytics tools that it offers. I've tried multiple social media managing apps/softwares and their analytics typically do not compare to the depth and relevance of the analytics that Hootsuite offers. I like how easy it is to manage and post on multiple social profiles all in one place. I've tried other platforms but it feels like they tend to glitch often, and I don't have that issue with Hootsuite. I've also never had an issue with relinking social accounts but on other platforms I have had this issue.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think the least helpful thing about Hootsuite is not being able to see an Instagram feed layout. I know for most of our clients having a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing feed is essential for their brands and so having an option to view what your feed will look like with scheduled content would be helpful. I know that Cloud Campaign does this and Rella Social does as well. I also think that the pricing can push some people out of using Hootsuite.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems that Hootsuite is solving for us is managing multiple client's social media platforms all at once and in once place. We manage multiple social media accounts and being able to schedule posts and view analtyics for each of them all in one place with the ease of just switching into the right client's social account is great!

 ### 36. Easy Setup and a Beautiful Interface for Social Media Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Morgan S. | Clinical Case Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Hootsuite is a good social media management tool, easy to use and has a beautiful interface. My company just started using it and I was surprised at how easy set up has been.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Unfortunately, it’s pretty heavy on the pocket. There are tools out there that offer the same—and in some cases even better—features, like Social Champ, with very reasonable pricing and good customer support. So, yes, it can work well for people who don’t mind investing a lot in this kind of tool, but for struggling agencies, startups, and new entrepreneurs, it ends up feeling a bit too pricey.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform handles pretty much everything a social media manager does on a day-to-day basis. It lets you curate content, schedule posts, and publish them all in one place, which is a huge time-saver.

 ### 37. Centralized Social Media Management, Impressive Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahmut Alperen G. | Peer Reviewer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I love how Hootsuite centralizes complex workflows into a single, efficient dashboard. The Unified Streams feature reduces response times by allowing me to monitor all network feeds and brand mentions in one place. I appreciate the Visual Planner with its intuitive calendar and bulk scheduling tools that make long-term content planning effortless and structured. The Approval Workflows stand out with granular permission settings, ensuring brand safety through seamless team collaboration and mandatory admin sign-offs. These features transform social media management from a reactive task into a structured operation, saving me hours of manual checking and preventing content gaps. The native integrations with Google Drive, Dropbox, Adobe Creative Cloud, Salesforce, and HubSpot keep workflows seamless and efficient. Once the foundational architecture was set up, onboarding the rest of the team was seamless and required minimal training.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

While Hootsuite is highly stable, the interface can feel overly dense and a bit dated, which introduces unnecessary friction when navigating between features. Additionally, the pricing structure scales very aggressively. Moving from basic plans to accessing advanced analytics or adding more team members quickly becomes cost-prohibitive for growing operations. Finally, occasional API disconnects are a recurring frustration, as they require manual re-authentication and can unexpectedly disrupt your automated posting schedules.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite to centralize social media management, which resolves fragmentation and inefficiencies by unifying feeds and messages. It simplifies scheduling with a visual planner, ensuring consistent campaigns, and enables team collaboration through approval workflows, enhancing brand safety.

 ### 38. Effective Optimization with Details to Improve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** susy v. | Regional Head of English Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

What I like most about Hootsuite is the ability I have to do more with a smaller team and more efficiently. Basically, it helps me optimize the resources I have and have a view of all the scheduling, not just for my team, but for the marketing teams in other areas as well.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I believe that one of the aspects with which we have had the most issues with Hootsuite is the integration of WhatsApp. Additionally, I think it is important to make a much more effective integration with the WhatsApp platform from Hootsuite. For the use of platforms like WhatsApp, they are still very experimental.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite helps me schedule and tag content for different business areas, respond to direct messages, and optimize resources by allowing more to be done with fewer staff more efficiently.

 ### 39. An Innovative Way of Managing Social Media

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Renaldo S. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

The scheduling and planning feature is phenomenal. I can plan an entire month's worth of content and the Hootsuite platform handles the scheduling, optimising and metric tracking of each post. Highly efficient, convenient and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

There's some security features that activate when I'm logging in where I have to verify myself before continuing. A bit frustrating, but at the end of the day, I'd much prefer a platform that keeps my identity, activity and info safe. Sometimes my accounts get disconnected and I have to reconnec t them, which can be a mild inconvenience.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figuring out the best times to post can be tricky, but Hootsuite gives its recommendations so I can optimize my content’s effectiveness and reach.

Keeping up with the metrics is sometimes a challenge, yet Hootsuite compiles, organizes, and presents the figures in a neat, comprehensive report that’s easier to review and understand.

Social media management can be very chaotic, but Hootsuite’s features help me stay on track, organized, and as stress-free as possible.

 ### 40. Manage multiple social media platforms

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunjal P. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

This tool allows you to manage multiple social media platforms easily and does the job fairly well. You can select different posting times for each platform, which makes scheduling content very simple. I’ve been using it every day for the past two years. It is definitely a must-have when you have multiple platforms to handle alongside other digital tasks.

The pricing is competitive and offers good value.

Sometimes it lacks performance, but overall it works great. They also provide excellent support for any issues that arise.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

There's no feature to add location to your posts. Other thing that I noticed is that for Pinterest you need to create separate Pin to make a post. It should take a same content and post in while you are posting on other sites. Making a separate Pin makes it time consuming. It does not serve the purpose of posting everything at once when Pinterest is a must for you. But overall it does a good job posting on FB, Insta, LinkedIn and Twitter, all at once.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Save time with easy multi-platform scheduling and use built-in analytics to grow your social media presence. By analyzing platform reports, you can identify growth opportunities and quickly generate data for internal meetings.

 ### 41. User-Friendly with Room for Analytical Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahoor R. | Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I love that Hootsuite is very user-friendly and easy to use. I also like that there is a Hootsuite Academy that I can study and review on my own if I need it. I love the new OwlyGPT function, which is a built-in AI that helps me with my captions. The academy is great because I can learn new stuff or brush up on my knowledge if I've forgotten something. The AI function, OwlyGPT, is perfect because I don't have to switch between Copilot, ChatGPT, and Gemini. I can just ask all my questions within Hootsuite and get an answer from the AI, which is really convenient for me.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I would say the analytics section could definitely be improved. I know that we are on the basic plan, but the analytics section needs improvement. I think with the basic section, we should still have access to more reviews and more reports, and we should be able to get more of an analytical report side of it, given that the basic plan is still around hundred fifty dollar a month.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite solves the problem of posting on time across multiple social media platforms. I don't need to juggle between different accounts; I can schedule posts directly from my calendar and get the best posting times to engage my audience better.

 ### 42. Mostly Happy with Hootsuite for 6 years now

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon B. | Webmaster and Social Media Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Easy /intuitive to use and seems to be constantly trying to develop new tools to help users save time on their projects and become more productive for the business(es) overall.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

It feels like a slightly heavy app, and it includes some features I can’t really imagine myself ever using.

As an early adopter of the software, it would have been a nice gesture to grandfather us in at the original price. The main reason our company uses this app is because I recommended it as competitively priced. So when the cost went up while I was still using the same regular features as before, it rubbed me the wrong way a bit. It is what it is.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross-posts using the same draft and being able to schedule each one individually or as a group saves me time duplicating tasks for work. Hashtag suggestions and media library also helps streamline workflow sometimes.

 ### 43. Streamlined Social Media Management with Minor Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren M. | Marketing and Communications Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I like using Hootsuite for scheduling my social media posts weekly and monthly across multiple platforms like X, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. It's great that I can post in both English and French, encompassing all my language needs. One of my favorite features is the calendar view and its suggested peak times which really takes the guesswork out of when to post. It also offers great wrap-ups so I can see how our social media channels are doing each month and annually. I think it works really well for viewing how each post will actually be published per platform. The initial setup was very easy, which was nice.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I think the video upload can get better. I also don't know why but recently when I am posting two or more photos in one post, it doesn't let me change the sequence of the posts unless I post them one by one which is really inconvenient.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hootsuite for social media scheduling across multiple platforms and languages. It helps me stay organized with my monthly plan and provides performance wrap-ups to monitor channels over time.

 ### 44. The social media industry standard

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** marcus A. | IT/Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

It's the product that all of the competitors in this market benchmark against. Ease of use, good range of analytics reports, allows you to post in advance on a good wide range of platforms, including Bluesky and Threads which we find very useful. It probably saves us around 45 minutes a day. Having the ability to read and answer replies/DMs etc across multiple social media platforms, and assign answers saves a lot of time, plus it's so much easier to show a ROI on Hootsuite when you can show there's no duplication of answers. The analytics have really improved over the last year or so. We find the Streams feature really useful to keep a track of what's posted but it's buried under the More section.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

There are no analytics for Bluesky yet. It's quite pricey if you just use it to just schedule your posts to Social Media otherwise it's quite competitive. Product features are skewed to agencies and brands who are selling products. We use it to get content out to our social feeds, so a lot of the general homepage advice on Hootsuite is irrelevant to us. Would be nice if we could edit the homepage to show information that we find useful and have quicklinks to features we actually find useful, not what Hootsuite thinks we'll find useful. Sending questions to customer support could be made a lot easier and support could answers questions a lot quicker than it does currently.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We post out news items from our website across a range of social media three or four times a day. Hootsuite enables us to make posts across all of the sites with just a few clicks and lets us see all of the results of the social media posts in one place. We don't have to search across all of the platforms to see how we're doing. There's a single interface for uploading that doesn't change, whereas other platforms are constantly moving things around. We can also schedule social posts ahead of time and the new social listening feature allows us to see what our competitors are up to and track any new trends. We are a business that works in multiple time zones and works 100% remotely so the Inbox 2.0 feature is invaluable. With it we can monitor and coordinate answering social media replies/DMs quickly and without duplication. By using Hootsuite we're probably saving around 45 minutes a day.

 ### 45. Easy Backend Navigation and Consistent Performance with Strong ROI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MD S. | Media and Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Easy to navigate the back end. I appreciate being able to opt out of AI, and I generally find the performance to be consistent. Sometimes integrations can tap out, and I could use more touchpoint from the team (instead of me reaching out first all the time), I generally feel like our agency is getting a value out of the platform, and the ROI is positive.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Sometimes the integrations can disconnect without warning, and the interface can be a little frustrating if there is a disconnect. I've had some posts fail to go out, and I wish I had a better understanding of why. I also loathe the forced AI takeover.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m a consultant, and I generally recommend that clients set up Hootsuite to support their digital communications strategy. At this agency, the ED had been posting everything in real time, which meant we had no analytics, no insight into the best posting times, and no real strategy to guide our work. Now we can do all of that and more. It has streamlined our digital comms, expanded our team’s capacity, and helped us write better grants based on digital performance. My time is limited to 40 hours a month, and instead of spending 2–3 hours on social media from my personal phone, I’m able to keep everything for the agency contained here.

 ### 46. Effortless Social Scheduling and a Unified Inbox for Engagement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nordia E. | Media Planning and Buying Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

The ability to schedule content for all the most popular social platforms. The inbox, which allows me to respond to comments and engage from one place.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

I've had trouble uploading SRT files for video content. This has been a focus lately due to new accessibility guidelines. I get an error message on Hootsuite, so I have to upload natively to each platform, where it works. That takes three times as long. I submitted a help request and received a response about time codes that did not help and was confusing. A step-by-step guide to fix the problem would be helpful. Better yet, fixing the issue so that it works like it works on the native platforms would be great!

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been using Hootsuite for a decade or so. It's hard to remember what we did before. It saves time and helps with collaboration. It also allows us to increase how much we post and try new platforms. We use the calendar to plan posts for multiple programs with multiple contributors. The ability to approve content before it goes live is helpful when working with interns or those who might not be as familiar with social media. With multiple accounts, it's helpful to have one place to find all the comments and questions. Between the multiple pages, business manager, advertising accounts versus personal accounts, it can be hard to find comments, questions and engage with other accounts. Before Hootsuite, we would miss questions and opportunities to engage. We struggled with the social aspect of social media. Now our social engagement is increasing. The constantly improving analytics is also essential to our growth. Before Hootsuite it would take three to five times as long to download analytics from each native platform. Now we can download analytics and multiple reports in half the time. We are able to make data driven decisions which increase our reach and engagement.

 ### 47. Great solution for small teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah S. | Digital Communications Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

We use Hootsuite now after using Sprout Social for several years. We've found that Hootsuite allows our team to manage workload easier by having the ability to cross-post to nearly all platforms at one time for each of our clients. Also, managing private messages and comments takes less time from our team members each day, including Hootsuite's ability to filter and automate responses to certain types of messages. What I have been most impressed with in the past is Hootsuite's customer account team and implementation processes, although it has not been as helpful as of recent. We have had dedicated people in the past that were always there when we need them and were very helpful when we come across issues. We use Hootsuite every single day, at all hours of the day to manage content publishing. It is very easy to train employees to use. With our plan, we can integrate as many social media accounts as we need into Hootsuite. We also love the reporting and analytics tools, as it can separate organic posts vs paid/sponsored posts. I love being able to customize my reports and format it to fit each client's needs to show the most powerful data and results that make an impact.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

1. Facebook sharing
2. Filtering out/Removing spam and malicious links in comments/messages (also reporting spam/banning user)
3. Change cover photos/profile pictures
4. A big one: white-labeling reports. We can have our logo, yet they still all show Hootsuite on them.
5. We can't see or respond to Facebook reviews!
6. Boosting and promoting has a lot of issues to where it shows successfully boosted/promoted yet later we find it never went through to Meta, yet shows boosted in Hootsuite. This is causing us more time with budgeting and confirming spends are live.
7. The app has a lot of bugs. The notifications do not load on any of our team's devices even with troubleshooting through the Support team.
8. Several of the reports will show varying data even with the same dates for the same post whether paid or organic. Some of the numbers do not add up to be accurate between reports.

I understand each platform's API is the reason for most limitations.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Posting on multiple platforms for each client. We don't have to sign in and out of every single account to make posts, so we can schedule ahead and even promote the ad all in one step. This saves our team members so much time to be able to give extra support in other areas for our clients. Our clients also love the easy to understand and custom reports we give them each month from Hootsuite. This saves us again from going into each account and platform to pull analytics one by one.

 ### 48. All-in-One Social Management That Keeps Everything Organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Esteban P. | Digital Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

What I like most about Hootsuite is how it brings everything into one place, it makes managing multiple social accounts feel way less chaotic. Scheduling, monitoring, and analytics are all streamlined, so it saves a lot of time and keeps things organized without needing to jump between tools.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

The interface can feel a bit cluttered and not very intuitive at times, especially when you’re managing multiple streams. It also gets pretty expensive as you scale, and some features feel locked behind higher-tier plans. Occasionally, performance can lag, which slows things down when you’re trying to move quickly.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hootsuite solves the problem of managing multiple social media accounts in one place, which saves a lot of time and reduces the chance of missing posts or messages. It makes scheduling content, tracking performance, and staying organized much easier, so I can focus more on strategy instead of jumping between platforms.

 ### 49. Fast, Easy Social Posting Across Platforms with Scheduling and AI Help

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gergely B. | Concert pianist | Bogányi piano owner | Composer | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

I really like that I can post at the same time on all of my social media platforms. Makes it faster and easier. I also like the schedule option and the AI help.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Its monthly fee. I find it exorbitant. When I want to use it for all of my accounts, I need to use the paid version. I am a pianist, not a professional marketing agency...

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves me time, makes it much much easier to handle my social media accounts, to keep track on all of the publishings, to schedule posts and check how are the published ones doing, all in one place, without having to constantly check into my FB, LinkedIn, Insta, YT ect. accounts.

 ### 50. Fantastic multi channel post scheduling and team collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlotte M. | Social Media Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Hootsuite?**

Bulk scheduling tools can bulk upload hundreds of posts to multiple channels at a single time using easy CSV imports. All comments, mentions and private messages are collected in one neat inbox. Approval workflows are customizable, ensuring that marketing teams of any scale don't publish without authorization. Incoming questions from the audience are automatically sorted into the different product categories and the sentiment.

**What do you dislike about Hootsuite?**

Basic custom reporting metrics need expensive tier upgrades to be exported in Analytics dashboards. The image tag metadata is not always published with warnings on Instagram direct publishing.

**What problems is Hootsuite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We centrally managed 20 client’s social content. Teams create, review and approve planned campaign assets (without logging on to individual platform). Responses to messages took a long time as there was only one queue in which staff managed all messages.
