What I like best is its seamless integration with the entire Google ecosystem. Connecting it to Google Ads and Google Search Console unlocks another level of insight, allowing us to see how our ad spend and SEO efforts translate into actual user behavior. Let's be honest, the user experience is a real challenge. The interface feels like it was designed for data scientists, not for the marketers and business owners who rely on it daily. Finding specific data points often feels like a treasure hunt. Google Analytics provides a reliable and easy way of setting up analytics for my product. It literally can integrate with any platform I use for product development. Let it be mobile app development, website development including drag and drop builders the setup is so much easy. They literally have a documentation for all the platforms. I really like how Google Analytics helps me see what’s happening on a website in real time. It gives a clear picture of where the traffic is coming from, how users interact with pages, and what content performs best. I like the dashboard Google Analytics gives. It's like a default dashboard that has all the metrics already there, so there isn't much need for me to create a new dashboard with all the things I need. When I go into the Google Analytics page, the first thing I see is current website visitors, along with the number of new visitors this month. I can click on the detailed report to see information like which countries people came from and the number of active website visitors. I also like that we can set up custom events, and there are lots of other useful features. The setup was very easy. We just added the tag to the header of our page, and it went live. I like Google Analytics for its custom dashboard, which doesn't require setup from my end, as it provides a default dashboard that's easy to understand and use to see the metrics. I find it very helpful to track custom events by setting them up as events, and I can also track the source, distinguishing whether the traffic is from a genuine source or a bot. Tracking session duration, like how long people stay on my website, is another feature I appreciate. Additionally, it's easy to put the source and events to monitor important metrics for me and my clients, such as the profits and sales numbers on an ecommerce website. The best part of the new Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is its unified, event-based data model. Shifting away from the old session/pageview model allows us to genuinely track the complete cross-platform journey - from a mobile app interaction to a desktop purchase - all within one property. I use Google Analytics mainly to track website performance and understand user behavior. It helps me see how many people are visiting the site, where they’re coming from, which pages they spend time on, and how they interact with the content. I like most how detailed and reliable the insights are, with a clear view of user behavior, traffic sources, and performance all in one place. The dashboards and reports make it easy to track progress over time, which really helps in making informed decisions instead of relying on assumptions. Features like real-time reports, audience insights, and traffic source analysis are particularly valuable. Real-time data lets me see what's happening on the website at that moment, especially during campaigns. Audience insights provide a better understanding of user demographics and behavior, while traffic source reports show clearly where users are coming from. These tools make it easier to measure performance, optimize strategies, and focus on what actually brings results. The initial setup of Google Analytics was fairly easy, with the basic setup and tracking not taking much time, and instructions being clear enough to get started quickly. One area where Google Analytics could improve is ease of use, especially for beginners. Some reports and settings feel complex and take time to understand.
