"A reliable tool for understanding website performance and user behavior"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I really like how Google Analytics helps me see what’s happening on a website in real time. It gives a clear picture of where the traffic is coming from, how users interact with pages, and what content performs best. The way it connects with Google Ads and Search Console makes tracking campaigns and understanding ROI much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The main issue is the learning curve, especially with GA4. It feels a bit complicated at first, and some reports that were easy to find before now take more time. It would be great if the interface was a little more beginner-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Future of Analytics is Here - But Be Prepared For The Learning Curve"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

The best part of the new Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is its unified, event-based data model. Shifting away from the old session/pageview model allows us to genuinely track the complete cross-platform journey - from a mobile app interaction to a desktop purchase - all within one property. This provides a holistic, user-centric view that was simply impossible before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The data retention limits (max 14 months for details data) and the initial lack of historical data continuity during the transaction from UA created significant reporting gaps and made year-over-year comparison difficult for the first year of migration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A perfect tool to manage user impressions, traffic & built predictive analytics for e-comm industry"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Easy to setup tool with customization available for type of impressions you want to track. Easy access to reports. Integrations available to export analytics and the dashboards are also easy to comprehend - both for techies and business managers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

For free tier users or beginners - the data refresh and data availability is pretty slow. Explorations can be a bit buggy ( unless you have prior experience with the tool it can be hard to spot) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"You're Alright, GA"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I was introduced to Google Analytics with GA3. It was incredibly robust, but not as intuitive as I would have preferred. However, as I familiarized myself with the program, it became easier. Then GA4 came out and everything changed. The UI became easier to navigate, and the robust features that I relied on became more sophisticated. It changed everything for the better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

I would say that there is a steeper learning curve to Google Analytics when compared to other analytics programs. Granted, those programs are not as robust as Google Analytics, but not every program needs to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Insightful Analytics with a Learning Curve"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I like how Google Analytics provides a comprehensive understanding of website traffic by offering insights into user demographics, locations, and distinguishing between new and returning customers. This feature helps me understand the origin of my traffic, whether it is organic, from paid ads, or through social media channels. Furthermore, I appreciate how Google Analytics measures the performance of digital marketing efforts, offering valuable data on user behavior, which aids in resolving misunderstandings about the functionality and performance of my website. The setup was not as difficult as some might assume, making it accessible even for those new to the tool. Overall, with these capabilities, I find Google Analytics tremendously beneficial for gathering and interpreting data to drive better marketing decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

I find Google Analytics challenging if you are not properly educated on this application, as you may have difficulty understanding its complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Insightful Analytics, Need Better User Data Tracking"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I appreciate Google Analytics for offering clear insights into how users visit and interact with my website. It effectively tracks user behavior, traffic sources, and overall performance, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of what works and what needs improvement on my website. I also like that it gives detailed tracking information about where my visitors are coming from, their purpose, and how they use the website, all of which are essential for optimized user experience. Furthermore, the setup process for Google Analytics is simple and user-friendly, allowing for easy integration and use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

I find the user interface and setup of Google Analytics not as user-friendly as I'd like. Additionally, tracking lead inquiries and user information needs improvement. I would appreciate a tracking dashboard that offers basic user information like name, country, and basic email ID. It would also be beneficial to have insights into the visitors' purpose for visiting the website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Detailed Insights, Easy Setup, Needs AI Enhancement"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I find Google Analytics incredibly valuable for tracking website performance and optimizing ads, the user funnel, and overall user journey. I appreciate the detailed insights it provides, especially the information on traffic sources, user demographics, and the ability to easily understand the user journey. These features allow me to pinpoint which pages convert the most effectively. Additionally, I find the initial setup process is straightforward and simple, requiring just the implementation of a code into the website. This ease of use is essential to get up and running quickly without any hassle or complex technical requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

I dislike the absence of AI in Google Analytics, as integrating AI could significantly enhance its functionality. With AI, creating customized reports would be quicker, and it would be easier to identify critical areas for improving user experience and driving more conversions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I love Google Analytics for its ability to analyze my sales and traffic, which is essential for my business insights. It helps me efficiently find traffic sources, which is crucial in understanding where my visitors come from and how they interact with my site. I also appreciate the real-time analytics feature, which allows me to monitor activities on my site as they occur, giving me up-to-date information to make timely decisions. The tool's functionality in identifying keywords is another aspect I find valuable, as it plays a key role in planning and optimizing my SEO strategy. Overall, I find Google Analytics very beneficial to all aspects of my data analysis needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

I find the keyword suggestion feature to be lacking in precision. It doesn't provide exact keyword suggestions, which could enhance the value and functionality of Google Analytics for users like me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
