**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krissy M. | Influencer Marketing Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

What I like best about Google Analytics is how clearly it shows what’s working—and what’s not. It helps you understand where your traffic is coming from, what people are doing on your site, and which pages or campaigns are converting. It’s not always easy to interpret at first, but once you learn how to read the data, it’s like having a roadmap for improving your strategy without just guessing.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

What I dislike about Google Analytics is how overwhelming it can feel at first—there’s just so much data and so many reports. GA4 especially isn't very intuitive, and some of the features that were easy to access in the old version are now hidden or require custom setup. It takes time to really understand how to get what you need.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Analytics helps me see which content is actually engaging my audience and which topics fall flat. It solves the problem of guessing what works by giving me real data on traffic, time on page, and user behavior. This helps me create more focused, effective content that performs better over time.

  ### 11. The Gold Standard for Website Analytics — Still Essential in 2025

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hinal s. | Specialist, Human Resources, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

Google Analytics gives us deep insights into user behavior without any extra cost. The setup is fairly easy, and once it's running, you get everything from traffic sources to user journeys to conversion tracking. GA4 has been a bit of a shift, but the event-based tracking offers much more flexibility. We use it almost daily to check performance, page drop-offs, and campaign results. It's packed with features, and for a free tool, it’s incredibly powerful.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

The transition from Universal Analytics to GA4 wasn’t very smooth — the interface takes time to get used to, and some key reports are harder to find. There’s also a learning curve if you're not very familiar with metrics and events. Documentation is there, but not always easy for non-tech users.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us understand how users interact with our site — what pages are working, where users drop off, and which channels bring in high-quality traffic. This allows us to make data-driven decisions that improve our marketing ROI and user experience.

  ### 12. Effortless Setup and Insightful Analytics

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

I appreciate that I can build custom dashboards to quickly see the most important metrics for my business at a glance. I don't have to navigate through multiple reports to find the data I need. I can create a dashboard with my key performance indicators (KPIs) like traffic from my social media campaigns or my conversion rate, which saves me a ton of time and makes it easy to share reports with my team.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

I find the learning curve to be incredibly steep. While it's a powerful tool, it's not intuitive, especially the new version. It feels like you need to be a certified expert to understand how to use it, and getting a good grasp of it takes a significant amount of time and effort.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of not knowing my website traffic. Before Google Analytics, I had no way of knowing how many people were visiting my website. I was running my business in the dark. The platform's greatest benefit is that it provides a central source of truth for all my website traffic data. I can see exactly how many people visit my site every day, which has been a complete game-changer for my business and has helped me make informed decisions about my marketing efforts.

I can see the behavior of visitors on my website, as well as measure the effectiveness of my campaigns and the activities that generate traffic.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

On some occasions, the metrics of certain specific events do not match the data provided by other tools; perhaps it is a problem with the others.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the visibility it offers on visitor behavior: where they come from to the website, how long they stay, what they view, and when they leave the page.

  ### 33. The Backbone of My Website Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sakshi S. | UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

It’s like having x-ray vision into what’s happening on your site. I love how detailed the data is. You can really dig into what’s working and what’s not. The real-time view is especially cool when you're launching something new and want to see traffic come in live. Once you get the hang of it, it’s super powerful for making smarter decisions.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

The learning curve is real. It’s not the most intuitive tool if you’re just starting out, and the interface can feel overwhelming at first. I also wish the dashboards were a little more customisable without needing to go down a rabbit hole of settings or third-party tools.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Analytics helps me actually understand how people are using my site, not just guessing. It tells me where users are coming from, what pages they’re spending time on, and where they drop off. That kind of insight helps me improve the overall experience and focus on what’s working. Whether it’s tweaking content or figuring out why something isn’t converting, GA gives me the data to back up those decisions. It’s basically my go-to tool for not flying blind.

  ### 34. Difficult to use and unreliable audience counting despite connections to the sites.

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mirko N. | Collaboratore esterno, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

It’s nice that I can connect it to various websites to track and count my audience.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

It doesn’t count the audience accurately, and it’s difficult to use.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me connect WordPress to various websites and track my audience.

  ### 35. Essential Tool for Website Optimization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pradumn A. | Media Coordinator, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

I appreciate Google Analytics for providing a precise understanding of where my website may be lacking and where users are dropping off. I find the UTM tracking incredibly useful to understand traffic sources and flow. The tool's comprehensive analytics aid in better website management, including AB testing and comparative analysis.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

I think that while Google Analytics is a very good tool, it might not be as user-friendly for everyone, especially for those who may want a simpler version of the analysis. It could be made more user-friendly by deriving a greater understanding of how the tool works and how the analytics are presented.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Google Analytics to identify where my website is lacking, understand audience drop-off, and improve SEO based on detailed analysis and A/B testing. It provides precise insights into page performance and traffic flow, which helps manage my website effectively.

  ### 36. The best tool for getting data for website performance, traffic and conversion

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph S. K. | Chief Technical Officer and Director of SEO Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

I like that Google keeps improving the product. I like that it integrates seamlessly with my websites without very much coding work. It gives me all the data our online shops need to make decisions quickly.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

I dislike the speed issues that the code can cause on your site. You have to defer the loading of the script. Other than that, there are no more complaints.

**Recommendations to others considering Google Analytics:**

Make sure to test other analytic platforms. This is the free one. Just remember that.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am learning more information about what to do to help our websites perform better. We can track critical KPI's like conversions and actions users are taking on our sites. It helps us learn where they came from and if our meta descriptions are correct among many other data points. You are blind without it.

  ### 37. A Free, Powerful Way to Review Website Data

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

Useful for seeing internal data and making strategic decisions

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

Having to use other tools for rank tracking data

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us boost CVR by identifying under performing pages across the board

  ### 39. Comprehensive Data Collection with a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Warit C. | Full-Stack Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

I like that Google Analytics is free and has a lot of functionality. It collects a wide variety of parameters, which is really helpful. I also enjoy the features like Goals and Demographics.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

I find the interface of Google Analytics overcomplicated, especially when setting it up, and they change it a lot. If I can't find something I need, I have to google it or watch videos on YouTube. The initial setup is also complicated and unintuitive.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Google Analytics for tracking conversion rates and custom events, analyzing user behavior, and collecting all data in one place.

  ### 40. Goo for tracking user activity, but could have better setup.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

How it collects data from QR code UTM campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

It is convoluted and could have more user friendly features.

Tracking site activity and revenue.

  ### 41. Efficiency through customization, limited by data delays

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

What I really like is the ability to customize reports and the ease of integration with e-commerce platforms. This is very useful because it gives us efficiency and allows us to tailor insights according to our clients’ needs. I also really like the search feature, since with natural language it often helps me find things that I wouldn’t easily know how to locate otherwise

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

What I really don’t like about Google Analytics is that it’s not truly real-time. The delay in how data is reflected in the reports sometimes reduces our visibility and limits our ability to take immediate action

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Analytics mainly helps us by providing visibility into campaign performance and the behavior of users visiting our e-commerce stores. This visibility translates into key insights that allow us to take action across different aspects of e-commerce operations

  ### 42. Great for Understanding Real User Behavior, But a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

It helps understand the real user behaviour and not just some numbers.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

Learning curve is very steep, little harder to understand.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of lack of visibility of website performance and helps the conversion tracking. These benefit us with clear visibility of which channels are performing good.

  ### 43. The Essential Tool for Website Analysis and Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

Google Analytics has been around for a while now and I have relied upon it in the last probably 10 companies that I have worked for to provide website analysis and insights. It is easy to set-up and to implement and get up and running in your business, you need to leave it for a month to start collecting data to have something to analyse but once you do it provides core vitals on your website, such as who is visiting, lead sources and where from etc..it is pretty expansive in terms of the data that it offers. Its a tool that we use every week to monitor website traffic and it integrates with ever other tools on the market place pretty much.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

Google recently launched there GA4 upgrade this has changed the UX and how you find and pull data which has made it a little more tricky to find what you want as you have to build reports for what you want now as before it was just on a menu. So it takes a little getting used to but there are many resources to help with this and after a short while you are up and running.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides analytics and insights on our website data and who is interested in our product, overall it helps us make marketing decisions which ultimately leads to ROI.

It gives a clear picture of what’s actually working. You can really dig deep into your audience.I like that you can build your own dashboards and reports based on exactly what matters to you or your team. It’s way more efficient than sifting through data you don’t need.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

I dont think there is anything i really dislike about google.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me understand user behavior so I can make smarter decisions.Google Analytics solves the problem of not knowing how people are interacting with your website.

  ### 46. Google Analytics is a perfect and free tool for analyzing our website visits data.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anugrah M. | Marketing Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

I have used Google Analytics for analyzing our website visits data. It is very beneficial in tracking features like Active Users, New Users, Avg. engagement time per active users. It also provides in depth analysis on of the visits on our website such as whether they are from Direct, Referral, through email, Paid social, Organic search, organic social. They also provide session by session information. Moreover they also provide geographical data such as which country traffic is coming for with the functionality to drill down further to the state level. Also it has huge community support to solve any problems we encounter. We can also track the engagement overview like the Views by page title info or the count of page view, user engagement etc. You can also track monetization details such as ecommerce purchases, purchase journeys, info about first time users.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

Something which can be improved is the integrations offered. It is very easy to integrate with Looker studio for analysis but that's about it. More functionality can be added to integrate it with analytics and visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Analytics is making it very easy to track website visits data. It is free of cost and removes the need of buying other tool for website visits tracking.

  ### 47. Comprehensive Analytics Platform with Powerful Insights

**Reviewed by:** Calvin D. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

Google Analytics excels at providing deep insights into user behavior and website performance. The platform offers robust tracking capabilities, customizable dashboards, and seamless integration with other Google products. The real-time reporting features are particularly valuable for monitoring campaigns and making data-driven decisions quickly.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

The learning curve can be steep for new users, especially when setting up advanced tracking and custom dimensions. The transition from Universal Analytics to GA4 required significant retraining, and some legacy features are still missed. Documentation could be more comprehensive for complex implementation scenarios.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Analytics solves the problem of tracking, analyzing, and interpreting user behavior on websites and apps. This benefits me by providing actionable insights into visitor traffic, conversion rates, and content engagement, helping to optimize digital marketing strategies and improve site performance.
