**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

  ### 3. Best Analytics web tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Photography | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

What I like best about Google Analytics is that it gives a very clear view on how users are actually behaving on our website and app. It’s really helpful to understand where users are coming from and what they are doing after the first visit. I like the fact that you can go from a high-level overview to very detailed segments quite fast. For exemple, I can easily compare paid vs organic traffic, or see how new users from one campaign are moving through the funnel. Custom reports and basic dashboards are also useful to share quick insights with other teams without needing complex tools.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

What I like less about Google Analytics is that the interface sometimes changes a bit too often and it’s not always super intuitive, especially in GA4. Some metrics naming is not very clear for non-experts, and you need time to really understand what is counted or not counted. Sampling and data thresholds can also be frustrating when you work with acquisition campaigns and want precise numbers. Also, connecting GA with all marketing tools or advertising platforms can be a bit tricky and sometimes breaks without clear reason. The learning curve for events and conversions setup is also quite steep

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Analytics is solving the problem of not really knowing what users do after they arrive on our website or app. In acquisition, it’s important to see if traffic is only volume or if it actually converts into something valuable. GA helps linking traffic sources with onsite behavior and conversions, so we can see which channels bring qualified users and which ones are just noise.

It also reduces guess work in discussions with stakeholders. Instead of “I think this page works better”, we can look at real data like engagement, conversion rate or time on page. This helps us optimise landing pages, improve onboarding, and allocate budget more smartly between channels. At the end, it supports better decision-making and faster iteration for growth.

  ### 4. Great for tracking site cccess and top pages

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juliane M. | Assistente de marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

It’s useful for checking site access, identifying the most visited pages, and spotting opportunities to reach out to more leads.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

Sometimes, too much data ends up categorized as "not set," which makes it hard for us to really understand lead behavior and interpret what’s happening.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can clearly monitor site access and understand whether our efforts are working.

  ### 5. Powerful Website Insights with Google Analytics

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bradley B. | Vice President, Digital Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

The AI function is the only thing that makes it mildly useful, and I stress mildly. And if the product was more intuitive, you wouldn't need the mildly usable AI function.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

It is simply impossible to find what you need. Nothing intuitive about it. the old version of this product was intuitive. This version is almost unusable unless you have a certification. And there is no support available.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for website metrics - who is coming to the site, what are they doing, where are they coming from, etc.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

The lack of identification of bot users. I think there needs to be more backend monitoring and software to identify the exact traffic source.

Google Analytics lets me understand where my traffic comes from and its quality.

Improvement of the shareable feature to allow for more direct sending

  ### 11. Powerful Website Traffic Insights with Rich Engagement Metrics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankit D. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

It is quite helpful for checking website traffic. It provides a range of metrics—such as active users, new users, pageviews, clicks, traffic channels, and sources—that make it easier to understand the level of user engagement. These metrics also help me get a clearer sense of different user types and their interests, as well as details like age.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

Sometimes the data isn’t totally accurate. Website traffic and user data updates can also be slow, which makes it harder to rely on the information in real time.

It can feel overwhelming at first, specially the GA4 version. Reports take time to learn and setting up advanced tracking isn't very straightforward.

**Reviewed by:** vitarag s. | Vitarag Shah | SEO Strategist | Data-Driven Search Optimization Expert, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

I really like how Google Analytics helps me see what’s happening on a website in real time. It gives a clear picture of where the traffic is coming from, how users interact with pages, and what content performs best. The way it connects with Google Ads and Search Console makes tracking campaigns and understanding ROI much easier.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

Google Analytics helps me understand exactly how people are using the website — what’s working well and what’s not. It solves the problem of guessing where traffic comes from or which campaigns are performing. I can clearly see user behavior, top-performing pages, and drop-off points. This helps me focus efforts on the right channels, improve engagement, and make data-backed decisions. Overall, it’s made tracking performance and optimizing marketing strategies much smoother and more effective.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** shanuka C. | Digital marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

I like the dashboard Google Analytics gives. It's like a default dashboard that has all the metrics already there, so there isn't much need for me to create a new dashboard with all the things I need. When I go into the Google Analytics page, the first thing I see is current website visitors, along with the number of new visitors this month. I can click on the detailed report to see information like which countries people came from and the number of active website visitors. I also like that we can set up custom events, and there are lots of other useful features. The setup was very easy. We just added the tag to the header of our page, and it went live.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

Maybe the setting process can be made much more easier, like meta facebook Pixel. It will be much more helpful.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Google Analytics to track website visitors, events, and ad performance through UTM metrics. It automatically tracks visitor locations, sources, and actions like the first click, which is unmatched by other tools.

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

I like Google's quick setup and ease of use, which really stands out for me. It didn't take long to go live—we were live in just 2 days. It's nice to have a program that is reliable and doesn't require engineering resources for setup. I appreciate that anyone could set it up.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

The granularity of data could be better and more clear ways to share data in a dashboard format would be nice.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Analytics helps us track all our marketing efforts and solves the issue of not clearly seeing the ROI of our marketing inputs.

  ### 32. Essential Tool for Website Performance Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeni J. | Software Dev , Ai Agents Builder, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

I use Google Analytics mainly to track website performance and understand user behavior. It helps me see how many people are visiting the site, where they’re coming from, which pages they spend time on, and how they interact with the content. I like most how detailed and reliable the insights are, with a clear view of user behavior, traffic sources, and performance all in one place. The dashboards and reports make it easy to track progress over time, which really helps in making informed decisions instead of relying on assumptions. Features like real-time reports, audience insights, and traffic source analysis are particularly valuable. Real-time data lets me see what's happening on the website at that moment, especially during campaigns. Audience insights provide a better understanding of user demographics and behavior, while traffic source reports show clearly where users are coming from. These tools make it easier to measure performance, optimize strategies, and focus on what actually brings results. The initial setup of Google Analytics was fairly easy, with the basic setup and tracking not taking much time, and instructions being clear enough to get started quickly.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

One area where Google Analytics could improve is ease of use, especially for beginners. Some reports and settings feel complex and take time to understand. Also, with frequent updates and changes, it can be confusing to find features that were previously easy to access. Better customization options and simpler explanations for metrics would make it more user-friendly and save time. Another improvement could be clearer guidance and built-in recommendations based on the data. Sometimes the data is available, but it’s hard to know what action to take next. More intuitive alerts, smarter insights, and easier report sharing would really enhance the experience. Better integration with other tools and simpler onboarding for new users would also make Google Analytics even more effective.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Google Analytics to track website performance and understand user behavior. It provides clear data that solves the problem of guessing user interactions, making it easier to analyze traffic, measure campaigns, and make data-driven decisions to improve the website.

  ### 33. Integration-Ready with Deep Analytical Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anjo M. | Founder, Graphic designer

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

I like Google Analytics for its less latency and microscopic deep research capabilities, which help me a lot with my analytical tasks. The integration and cross-connectivity features are particularly useful, as they enhance my workflow by working smoothly with other tools I use like Wix and Google's own Google Sites. Being part of Google's ecosystem is also a big draw for me.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

I don't like that verifying and adding our websites takes more time. It could be improved by providing a way to add this as an extension for more apps used to build and host websites.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Google Analytics for analyzing my website's performance, handling analytical tasks to improve it. I like its less latency, deep research facilities, and integration with other tools, which helps a lot.

  ### 34. Effortless Insights and Seamless Integration with Google Analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dharmik V. | Associate Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

What I like best about Google Analytics is how it combines ease of use with powerful insights, making it simple to implement and start tracking performance quickly. Its dashboards and reports are intuitive enough to check multiple times a day—7 to 8 times or more—without feeling overwhelming. Customer support and extensive documentation help smooth the learning curve, while the wide range of features, from real-time tracking to advanced segmentation, provide depth for both beginners and experts. Seamless integration with tools like Google Ads, BigQuery, and other platforms ensures data flows naturally, empowering smarter decisions and boosting productivity

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

One of the main dislikes about Google Analytics is its steep learning curve—while powerful, the interface and reporting options can feel overwhelming for beginners. Frequent updates, such as the transition from Universal Analytics to GA4, often require relearning workflows, which frustrates long-time users. Advanced features like unsampled reports and deeper integrations are locked behind the costly Google Analytics 360, limiting accessibility for smaller businesses. Additionally, customer support can sometimes feel slow or insufficient, leaving users reliant on documentation and community forums to troubleshoot issues.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Analytics is solving the challenge of understanding how users interact with websites by providing clear insights into traffic sources, user behavior, and conversion paths. Instead of guessing what drives engagement, it delivers data that helps identify which marketing channels are effective and where improvements are needed. This benefits you by enabling smarter decisions—optimizing campaigns, improving user experience, and increasing ROI—while saving time through automated reporting and integrations with tools like Google Ads. By checking it multiple times a day, you can stay on top of performance trends and quickly adjust strategies to keep growth on track.

  ### 36. Free Website Traffic Insights That Improve Content and Campaigns

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alison M. | Social Media Marketing Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

What I find most helpful is that it’s a free tool for tracking and analyzing website traffic. It gives me the ability to see user behavior and marketing performance, and it helps me better understand my users and how they interact with my website. That insight allows me to optimize my content and measure my campaigns more effectively.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

It’s the least helpful when it comes to troubleshooting and diagnosing why users might be behaving a certain way. It does track long-term journeys and provides immediate, real-time data.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The business problem Google Analytics solves for me is understanding user behavior across my websites. This benefits me by enabling data-driven optimization of marketing and user experiences, supported by real-time insights.

  ### 37. Intuitive Interface, Valuable Insights

I find that Google Analytics is incredibly intuitive and easy to navigate, which makes it easy to find the data I am looking for. Its dashboard is very easy to navigate, which really helps. The initial setup was very easy, taking less than half a day.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

Sometimes it is harder to drill down on some of the data to get beyond the surface numbers.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Analytics shows data that guides strategy for campaigns and has an easy-to-navigate dashboard, making it simple to find the data I need.

  ### 38. Google Analytics Makes It Easy to Track Visitor Engagement

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

Sometimes the data that’s provided is a little convoluted and hard to interpret.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking interest in website traffic is crucial for scaling a business, and Google Analytics helps with that by making it easier to understand how people are finding and using your site.

  ### 39. Complex Setup, Frustrating Experience

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel C. | Director of Product Marketing, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

I guess what I like most about Google Analytics is that it's free.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

I hate it. It's too complex to set up. I hate them all, actually. It's a nightmare. It was hard as ****. I hated it.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 40. Customizable Insights with Minor Visualization Tweaks Needed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael W. | Director of Web and Organic Search, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

I like the customization capabilities of Google Analytics. I appreciate the ability to set up different events and track them to a level of specificity that I don't think many other platforms have.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

I wish the measurement for new users was a little more accurate, but I know that also comes with the territory of how you track new users. It's just difficult to do in general. I also wish some of the visualizations were a little bit better. Like, making a funnel-style report was easier for moving down funnel based on events.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Google Analytics for event tracking and goal reporting for specific channels. It helps report on website pages that internal users can't access.

  ### 41. Insightful Dashboard for Understanding User Behavior

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vidit J. | Managing Director, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

What I like most about Google Analytics is how clearly it shows what users are doing on my website. Its dashboard has helped me to understand about the users like from where they are coming & with which pages they are engaging. It gave me clear picture of user behaviour.
Most helpful part in Google analytics is the ability to track traffic sources and see which channels like organic search, social media, ads or direct visits are performing best.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

one thing I dislike about Google Analytics is its new GA4 that needs pretty steep learning curve. The interface feels less intuitive than its older versions and it takes time to understand where everything is or how the reports are structured.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Analytics helps me understand how people are using my website and from where the traffic is coming. Before using it I had no clear view that which of my pages are performing well, at which point my users are dropping off and which marketing channels are producing results for me.
It also helps identify problems early like high bounce rate, slow loading pages or pages where user exits frequently which helped me to fix those issue early.
Its real time data solves my decision making problem because now I don't need to make decisions on assumptions I can rely on the actual data.
Overall it helps me prioritize what's working, what needs to be fix which makes my marketing smarter.

  ### 42. Insights Galore, But Learning Curve Exists

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shobhit A. | Technology Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

I use Google Analytics to track website traffic, understand user behavior, and measure the performance of our different marketing channels. It helps us identify user drop-off points and monitor conversions so we can optimize our website for better performance. I appreciate the deep insights into user behavior, and the real-time reporting, customizable dashboards, and event tracking make it simple to understand what's working on the website and what's not. I also like how easily we can set up and then integrate Google Analytics with other tools in the Google ecosystem. Connecting Google Analytics with Google Ads, Search Console, and Tag Manager makes tracking and optimization much more accurate and efficient. It was very easy to set up, and tutorials and Google documentation are also easily available. Setting up Google Analytics is the easiest compared to any other similar software.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

The biggest challenge is the learning curve, especially with the shift to the new version i.e. GA4. Some commonly used metrics are harder to find, and the interface sometimes feels less intuitive than the previous version.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Google Analytics to track website traffic and user behavior. It helps identify drop-off points, monitor conversions, and measure marketing channel performance. We can optimize our site and allocate budget efficiently. Its real-time reporting and integration with Google's ecosystem enhance tracking accuracy.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Analytics tells me how many people visit my website daily, what content brings the most traffic, how long they spend on my pages, and where they are coming from. Using this data, I can optimize content creation and marketing strategies to bring more visitors.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

There isn’t much downside overall, but one of my main concerns with GA4 is that the free version provides only limited access to data.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Analytics is helpful for identifying top-performing landing pages that drive conversions, tracking user behavior across sessions, and measuring the effectiveness of different traffic sources. Metrics like average time spent and engagement rate help analyze content quality and page experience. I particularly like the granular statistics for our website as they help me to report on important metrics to make informed decisions on marketing channels and content. The newest version is more complicated to drill down and get meaningful information.

  ### 48. A perfect tool to manage user impressions, traffic & built predictive analytics for e-comm industry

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laisha W. | Lead ML engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

Easy to setup tool with customization available for type of impressions you want to track. Easy access to reports. Integrations available to export analytics and the dashboards are also easy to comprehend - both for techies and business managers

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

For free tier users or beginners - the data refresh and data availability is pretty slow. Explorations can be a bit buggy ( unless you have prior experience with the tool it can be hard to spot)

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used it for multiple projects - the primary purpose was understanding and optimizing website and app performance when launching a new product or a new website design. Understand user interactions and see where the users drops offs - helps improve UX.
I have also used it for getting user interaction data for one of the largest fashion e-com giant in india - underatdning which products user has clicked on, how many impressions does a user have on a product, how many products user just swiped through from the listing page vs those that user clicked through spent > 1 minute reading different description sections

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Track online traffic, understand user behavior, data reports, improve Search Engine Optimization

  ### 50. You're Alright, GA

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan M. | Content Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Analytics?**

I was introduced to Google Analytics with GA3. It was incredibly robust, but not as intuitive as I would have preferred. However, as I familiarized myself with the program, it became easier. Then GA4 came out and everything changed. The UI became easier to navigate, and the robust features that I relied on became more sophisticated. It changed everything for the better.

**What do you dislike about Google Analytics?**

I would say that there is a steeper learning curve to Google Analytics when compared to other analytics programs. Granted, those programs are not as robust as Google Analytics, but not every program needs to be.

**What problems is Google Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Engagement with our content and our website is critical to the success of our business. Understanding how visitors are getting to our site and how they are interacting with it is critical for continued optimizations to ensure that we are not only really our targeted audience but that we're also providing them with the resources and service they require.
