"A big upgrade for tracking user behavior"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google analytics gives a lot of useful insights about how people are using your website or app. You can see where your visitors are coming from, what pages they visit, how long they stay, and what actions they take. The event-based tracking system is very flexible, and you can set up custom events without needing extra code in many cases. It also works well across websites and mobile apps in one place.

Once you understand how it works, you can get a clear view of what’s helping your site grow and where you might be losing visitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

Google analytics is hard to learn, especially if you're used to the old Google Analytics. The layout is very different, and it takes time to figure out where everything is. Some basic reports that were easy to find before now take more clicks or need custom setup. Also, if you're not very technical, setting up events or conversions can be confusing. "Powerful Tool for Data-Driven Decisions"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics provides deep insights into website performance, user behavior, and traffic sources—all in one dashboard. The real-time tracking is very helpful for monitoring campaigns, while audience segmentation and event tracking allow you to understand users in detail. Integration with Google Ads and other marketing tools makes it easy to connect the dots between campaigns and conversions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The platform has a steep learning curve, especially for beginners. With the recent GA4 migration, the interface and reporting structure feel less intuitive compared to the older Universal Analytics. Some common reports require customization, which may be overwhelming for non-technical users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It gives me valuable insights into my website, but it takes time to learn."
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

I like that Google Analytics shows me exactly where my visitors are coming from, which pages they are viewing the most, and how long they stay on my site. It makes me feel more confident because I can see what’s working and what needs improvement instead of just guessing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

I dislike that it can feel very complicated when you’re new to it. There are so many charts, filters, and numbers that it sometimes feels overwhelming, and I don’t always know which data is the most important to focus on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Insights on online presence for Businesses"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

While using Google My Business, Google Analytics has been very helpful with its insights on the business website and the analytics on performance regularly. We get important information on the traffic on our page, time viewed, Queries, reviews, etc. We could improve our ads and campaigns to rank higher and be more visible on search engines. It is a good tool for a small business that gives us a report daily. Easy to use, monitor, and then optimize our strategy accordingly. It integrates well with all the Google Suite tools and other project management tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

No dislikes. A tool that offers insights and measures performance is always good for a business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Insights from Google Analytics, but Learning Curve for Beginners"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google is great at letting us know what content and pages on our website are resonating most, and how much traffic our website is getting and from where. It also helps us cross reference social media reports on website traffic because there can often be discrepancies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

If you are a newbie, GA can be a bit complicated to understand since there are so many ways to filter the data. But with that said, there are a lot of trainings available to learn quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential tool for understanding and improving website performance"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

Google Analytics provides powerful insights into user behavior, traffic sources, and conversion paths, making it indispensable for data-driven decision-making. I like how customizable the reports are, allowing me to focus on KPIs that truly matter for each project. The integration with other Google products like Ads, Search Console, and Tag Manager makes tracking and optimization seamless. Real-time reporting is especially helpful for monitoring campaign performance and troubleshooting issues on the spot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

The learning curve can be steep for new users, especially with GA4’s interface changes and event-based tracking model. Some metrics are harder to find compared to the old Universal Analytics setup, and historical data migration isn’t always straightforward. In addition, the platform can be overwhelming with the sheer volume of data and options available, requiring time and experience to configure effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sometimes there are insights that don't matter. For everything else, there's Google Analytics"
What do you like best about Google Analytics?

What I like best about Google Analytics is the depth of insight it offers into user behavior. It provides a clear picture of traffic sources, page performance, real-time data, and conversion tracking. This helps me see what’s working and what’s not. The customizable dashboards and detailed segmentation options allow me to focus on specific audience behaviors, which makes it easier and faster to make decisions based on data, the ease-of-use is always there. I also value how it connects with tools like Google Ads and Search Console, which enhances campaign analysis. For someone who focuses on digital marketing and performance, it’s an essential tool that clarifies strategy, content, and user engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Analytics?

What I dislike about Google Analytics, especially with GA4, is its steep learning curve and confusing interface. Some key metrics and reports that were easy to access in Universal Analytics now feel buried or harder to find. Setting up custom events and conversions can also be more complicated than necessary, often needing technical support. While the platform is powerful, the transition to GA4 hasn't been smooth for many users, and the documentation can sometimes be overwhelming or unclear. It’s a great tool, but it isn't always user-friendly, especially for non-technical users who just want quick, useful insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
