There is a lot. From Usermanagement orlook and feel and layout optimization possibilities to the genereal training features like instructor led courses or course bundles / curriculums. Everything is realised really easily with absorb.

I enjoy Absorb’s easy ease of use and ability to intergrate with other products such as Teams and ADP to nake a few. The platform makes managing learning content really easy and simple. Their Helpdesk Team is very responsive and dedicated to helping find solutions. My CSM, Maggie Stillman is amazing! She is always up for a challenge and makes time to help get things done. It’s been nearly four years since we became part of the Absorb family, and the experience has truly been remarkable. The level of customer-focused sales and support that Absorb offers is exceptional and not something you can simply purchase elsewhere. Compared to other LMS platforms I’ve used, Absorb stands out in several ways. The user experience is intuitive, allowing learners to engage with content easily and efficiently. For administrators, there is a wealth of features designed to enhance the user experience even further. The Admin Experience streamlines daily tasks, and the robust reporting tools provide managers with valuable insights into learner performance, which helps guide engagement strategies and ultimately improves the effectiveness of training. What I like best about Absorb LMS is its clean, user friendly interface and easy navigation. The most helpful feature is the dashboard, which tracks progress, sends reminders, and keeps our learners up to date on things by utilizing the Billboard feature. Upsides include flexibility, accessibility on any device, and powerful reporting tools that help both learners and administrators monitor performance and enhance the overall training experience. Additionally, Absorb LMS supports interactive learning through our self paced course, videos, and assessments, making it engaging and efficient. The system’s automation features save time for administrators by managing enrollments, certifications, and updates seamlessly. What I dislike about Absorb LMS is that while it’s generally user friendly, some functions can be confusing or take multiple steps to complete. The least helpful aspect is the limited customization available for course layouts and reporting, which can restrict how information is displayed or tracked. Additionally, some users experience slow load times, especially when accessing larger courses or data heavy reports.

The administrative settings can also feel overwhelming for new users due to the number of options and configurations. Another downside is that communication tools, such as messaging or discussion features, could be more interactive. Overall, while Absorb LMS is efficient and organized, it would benefit from greater flexibility, faster performance, and improved customization for both learners and administrators. Our company culture is one thing we always strive to improve. Using Absorb has been such a huge factor in helping us keep our culture alive. We love utilizing Absorb Amplify to help employees develop as an individual. Using this feature to promote courses that might be relevant after company Lunch & Learns, Trainings and Leadership Discussions.

Another great way Absorb helps us grow is through Absorb Create! It's been a great tool to use when creating trainings that are branded to us. Utilizing the A1 feature to help refine the trainings we already have into something greater. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are not a lot of features on Absorb that I would catagorize as least effective or least used. Our managers, admins and employees love all the unique features and platforms. If I had to say anything about dislikes, I would say the Reviewers abilities.

We did have an issue where our Leadership team was not able to review created trainings because they did not hold "Create Licenses" and our login is set up through SSO. So, they do not have individual login credentials. It makes it really hard to get these trainings up and running if we are having to create new logins for leadership and have them remember another password. That was the point of using SSO. I am very new to the world of Learning & Development, and work closely with our L&D Manager. We utilise your LMS (Absorb) but are very new to this system, having never administrated or built on before. Marcia has always been patient and helpful as we learned how to set up new curriculums, departments, connectors with our HRIS system etc. The list goes on! We could not have achieved what we have to date without her guidance and support. I feel that we have a brilliant working relationship and look forward to our meetings, knowing that she does not judge or get frustrated with our barrage of questions. She is extremely knowledgeable and honest when she is not able to perform a task (due to her access levels rather than knowledge on Absorb). She is brilliant at problem solving and troubleshooting any issues we encounter.

She truly is a great asset and the best part of our Absorb LMS experience because we know she's got our back to help guide us with her calm, steady and friendly partnership. From day 1 of working with her, she has helped us set up the basics and continue to build on our learning from the basics, all the way up to building curriculums, integrating with our HRIS system etc. Marcia has personalized our service and why we will advocate for us to stay with Absorb LMS. Absorb’s course and program creation features are highly flexible, allowing us to design tailored learning experiences and journeys that meet diverse learner needs. The platform also provides strong visibility for admins, instructors, and managers to track progress and engagement, while offering seamless communication tools that make it easy to connect with learners directly through the system.

Absorb’s quarterly releases are prioritized based on client recommendations. Over the past year, many of our limitations have been addressed through new features, updated functionalities, or effective workarounds. We would confidently recommend Absorb LMS to any organization seeking a fast-evolving learning management system with excellent support services, and that values owning the management of its platform without being tied to a configuration team—as is often the case with ERP/SAP systems.

Another strength is the dedicated customer success support we receive. Our Customer Success Manager, Sharon, regularly checks in with us to ensure we are not facing any issues, discusses our plans for learning activities implementation so she can proactively support, and keeps us up to date on product enhancements. The only drawback is the limited functionality of the mobile app. However, for our organization, encouraging employees to access the platform through their mobile browsers has proven to be an excellent solution. The interface adjusts seamlessly across all search engines and devices, and, in fact, mobile browser usage has become more popular internally than desktop or laptop access. Absorb has really helped us better our learning product to our employees. It allows us to truly know where our people stand and what we need to do to get them to where they want to go.
